UPDATE: Little awkward here but the screenshot I used for the Spider-Man PS4 emulator isn't real. I've got donkey brains and just screenshotted the first PS4 emulator that came up. PS4's emulation is in it's very early days(and Linux exclusive currently), it's impressive what does exist, but you're not going to be playing 3d games for a while, although they did get sonic mania running but meh, just play the PC version. And yes, PCSX4 is a scam. PCsx2 (ps2)isn't and is amazing, Rpcs3(ps3) is also amazing.

the nice thing is that ps4 emulators and ps5 emulators seem to be advancing at a similar rate so in the next few years we will be able to not just emulate ps4 but also ps5 maybe even before the ps6 comes out @@5izzy557

I hate when people make the "consoles don't have cheaters" argument. Play Cold War on console with crossplay turned off and the amount of Cronus controller pack users (literal aimbot accessory made specifically for console players) makes the game almost completely unplayable. I have to play Cold War on PC with crossplay turned off and I actually have a better experience. How the turntables..
PC: Has complete genres that are either missing or extremely rare on consoles (point and click adventures, strategy games, non-racing driving sims etc).

There are more ps4 emulators besides spine. I agree that this one shown is fake because not a single one can run any AAA games there is one what can run some 2D PS4 games.

That online paywall was THE problem for me. Back in the Xbox 360 days, I thought it was dumb, and I never paid it. I got chastised by fanboys for calling it like I saw it. The paywall for online gaming on console was something I couldn't stand, and when they chastised me for it, I started to think I might be crazy.
But it became the last straw for me, and thank goodness, I found people that saw the other side of things, the same way I do. I found people on PC that called out how pointless paying for online gaming was.
That turned me off the 360 when that paywall even blocked offline game modes. Stopped playing the 360 and kept the ps3. Then when Sony did similar with the ps4 that's when I decided to build another pc.
agreed, it’s such a backwards approach to gaming. Like come on it’s 2024, online gaming is no longer a revolutionary invention. Started on the OG Xbox to PS4 now i play on PC. Never going back to Console.

Really? Because I've never been happier with my PC. Just the absolute freedom and customization of it, I can play how I want to. I can play first person shooter games on the couch with a controller, and I'll play it better than you because I can use gyro aim on my controller too. Not just in that game, but in _any game I want._ I can play those same games during lunch break at college, since I use a gaming laptop. I hacked my Switch to dump my games, which can be emulated flawlessly on my PC. My Switch collects dust at this point. I can play PC games from 20+ years ago on my laptop without issue. I can buy games for pennies on the dollar from Steam Key sites (legit sites only ofc). The sales are not only good, they're stellar, and they happen fairly often.
I will never, EVER want to go back to a console after using my PC for gaming, it's just so much better.
This is also a subjective argument, so it is meaningless.

One can claim that PCs have made people happy over the years and it would a correct claim, however it is subjective, so it has no business being listed as an objective reason of console being better than PC, when you can apply the same exact argument in favour of the PC.
Console peasants usually pretend their own subjective preferences are actual objective arguments.

Joe, the PS4 emulator you showed is fake. Spine is the real emulator. Spine is a huge leap towards being able to play Spiderman on the PC, but we are not there yet. You gotta do more research on this stuff

I seriously just scratched my screen cause I thought something was on it…. It was just Joe’s mouse. I don’t normally do this Joe but I’m gonna. I love Gears of War. Got the 360 specifically for it. Played all of them day one. I even liked Judgement. I have the books, the comics, and the games. And I thought Gears 5 was one of the better ones. Actually if I had to rank them: 3,2,5,1,4. My opinion and I’m sticking to it!
i just started watching your content a few months ago and I've been watching your old stuff towards the new and by this video literally gave me a tummer and brain cancer and i think my neck broke in the process...
So the guy mods a game, the mod has not been programmed properly, thus it breaks the game and then wonders why the game crashes and blames the PC as a whole, not the broken mod.
Also, modding can sometimes cause a game to be unstable and crash more frequently, especially when it is a non cosmetic mod, so what kind of argument is he making?
And of course in typical peasant fashion, the guy neglets to mention games that were broken on console: for example, Skyrim, who was almost unplayable on PS3 or Cyberpunk 2077, a game completely unplayable on console.
Or how about returnal, a game that was a buggy broken unstable mess that had to be fixed( and i'm not aware of it being fixed)?
It's almost like this doesn't prove anything about consoles or PC, it only proves that some companies make shoddy games.

Well beside software error issues here n then
Cronus Zen/strike packs - But anytime a console player call out the cheaters and exploiters they get gaslighted/roasted by even more cheaters "get better at the game" "your just trash". PC players don't support cheaters.
Paywalls - After the paywalls and subscription fees there's still the predatory nickel and dime'ing methods, overtime it adds up to far more than you will ever spend on PC and most times you just end up watching a TH-camr get what you paid $200 for.
Grinding - Most Console games feel like a job, you have to grind exp for hours because most people want advantages over other players when on the PC you can just have fun.
Griefing - Alot of console players are very negative and they get off on making other people mad by sabotaging games.
Considering limited genre and hardware and brain player capacity on console,
Im pretty sure Oxygen Not Included alone will make something explode, either the console, or the player.

The redundant use of ‘more’ when he says ‘more easier’ really bugs me, would have been fine if he said ‘much easier’ it would have been better.
Being only good at one thing doesnt make it better than something else that does that thing better as well as other things. This idea that a gaming console can only play games is false in the modern era, theyve been able to play movies and a few other things for at least two gens IIRC, so the point of it being specialized for gaming and only able to do gaming is just wrong.
I feel like this is the type of person who will just get lost in what they are saying after a minute or two, it happens but you should catch yourself and decide you should script yourself so you can get your opinion caross.
so this guy failed to mention the fact that the xbox one on borderlands 3 had a major issue on xbox one where you would play for 20 to 30 minutes and the console would literally shut down randomly mid fight on the pc version ran like a glove it may have done it on ps4 but i dont play on that platform.

Funny he should mention GTA 5 instead of GTA 4. Never had any problems with GTA 5 on my gaming PC's. But used to have problems with the Steam version of GTA 4, until i bought an Acer Nitro 7 last year. It even runs better on the Nitro, than it does on my Series S :)
Love how he says the consoles we have predate the pc when Nintendo released their firs console in 1977. With PlayStation coming later at 1994 and then Xbox I think in 2000 or ‘01. The first pc? 1974! The only console that was out that predates this was a Magnavox. Released in ‘72. So no PC is definitely older then any console manufacturer on the market today.
As that is slightly true. The first pc game was spacewar in 1962. But that was played on a computer the size of a car so yea no one was playing that except for the people that developed it on that computer. Magnavox did start the first console dedicated for gaming.
The first pc game with actual graphics wasn't until 1980 called mystery house. For quite a bit there consoles were probably better at games than pc but people were working on what the power of a computer could do, I loved playing on my old dos pc back in the 90s and early 2000s. But also mostly played on consoles mostly back then but had love for both.

If I buy 200 euros controller to PS4, it will give BIG ADVANTAGE in NHL game, especially in FaceOff Sitsuations.... My friend have it, I have tested it.... You will skate sharper than normal PS4 controller... so no advantages on consoles BUT...
You can use the ps4 controller on PC.

To be honest, Cyberpunk ain't that bad anymore on PS5 and Xbox Series X, but just take 1 quick look at Forspoken on PS5. That shit is astonishing in a negative way. 720p 30 fps on the PS5 and it still drops below 30, like what the actual fuck man😂. Not that Forspoken runs well on pc, but just better than the consoles.
Here are some console things bettet thn PC tht I could think of.
1. Less likely for new games to be broken on launch.
2. Physical discs, preserving them is much easier thn digital only like on PC.
3. Can sell those physical discs.
4. Easier to operate for casual gaming as it could be out anywhere, unlike a PC tht needs it's own station.
Thts all I could think of for now
