      You would likely need a 24+ in diameter wheel to keep you stable at that speed. It might be possible to do it using a 4p configuration with 50s batteries, but it would probably be safer to do it with 6p or 8p 50s batteries. The amount of power required as speeds get higher and higher tends to grow exponentially just to go that extra few mph... I bet it could be done with an 200ish volt wheel with 6p 50s batteries 🤔

    I have the GT Pro. In my first 100 miles with it I've done 53.8 mph several times and am learning to ride seated while dealing with 50+ mph wind impacts on steering (not trivial). It is the best "speed wheel" I know of. I also have the Master, Extreme, and S22. I've done 52 on the Master but that's with tail-wind and downhill. (my speeds are indicated speeds not GPS speeds like Wheel Good Time reports on)

    I'm brand new to the EUC world. People like me would benefit from a two-hour long history/chronology of companies and their EUCs. The names these things are called are so confusing. Begode seems to use 10-15 words, in rearranged patterns, to name their entire line of machines, I can't tell what's what. I can't figure out where the four main companies reside, what their factories look like, etc. This is a cool EUC world. Thank you for your content. 😊

    • @WheelGoodTime
      @WheelGoodTime  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      If there's one company that makes up super long names for their wheels, it's Extreme Bull 😂 they started with the commander, then the commander Pro, then the commander mini. Now they have the Commander GT and GT Pro - and the GT Pro+ (with almost 50% more battery) is on its way 🙂 all the EUC companies are in China, mostly in Dongguan and Shenzhen. No EUC companies exist outside of China unfortunately. 2cells1pack recently did a factory tour on YT of each of the EUC companies, it was very interesting!

      I just decided I wanted an EUC a few days ago and I'm so confused. Like I will watch a review of the S22 and I'm like what is a S22? Then I have to google S22 EUC and find out it's made by Kingsong. I'm probably going to buy the Inmotion V14 which is also called Adventure. Someone offered to sell me their V13. I looked up the V13 and it's somehow faster and more expensive than the new V14 but isn't built as well and has less torque. Maybe?
      What I have learned though is there is no perfect EUC. Just buy the one that you like the most and you'll probably be okay for years of fun.

    First of all thanks for the content that you’re putting up there for us.
    I wanted to buy this wheel for the performance it promises.
    But when I noticed it does not have a SMART BMS, I totally changed my mind.
    I don’t want to make worries all the time what is going on with the batteries and if there is any danger about storaging it.
    This manufactures should really learn to stop making EUC’s without smart BMS…

      Honestly, my experience with the commander mini is extremely limited. I don't have enough experience with it to speak with any level of authority on the subject. But I will tell you this, I have heard extremely good things about it. It is quite possibly the most powerful out of all of them, with the exception of the v14. That said, it is supposedly capable of the highest speeds compared to a similarly sized competitors. I have also heard that the suspension is identical to the commander Pro, but because it weighs less, it feels exceptionally stiff. Also, it does not have a smart BMS or any waterproofing that I am aware of. I hope this helps!

    I just received the GT Pro + and everything you note aligns with my first ride experience but turning seems extremely difficult. I had no issues at all making tight turns on my EX20 with Michelin Pilot tire. Marty Backe noted the same thing in his early review. Did you experience that also? I'm tempted to return the wheel but would be interested if anyone has seen improvement with a tire change.

      Interesting - I imagine that with the Pro+, the urns are a bit more challenging because of the extra battery weight, maybe? The GTP (not pro) that I had was surprisingly easy to turn. My suggestion is to try a different tire and see how that goes for you - that can make a huge impact on your ride experience! 🙂

      Only if they release a firmware update. I reached out to EB and they lowered the speed inflation from 24% to 17-18%ish. I asked them to make it better than that, and they said they would work on it. But I'll follow up and ask in a couple days if they don't make it better on the GT Pro.

    • @laurv8370
      @laurv8370 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There's nothing wrong with showing a higher speed, it is for your safety 😝.
      You can compensate that by inflating your tire more, but your riding experience will change (the wheel became more difficult to control, and it has less grip, but on the other hand, it takes less battery juice per km, and it shows a more accurate speed.
      Older versions of wheels, like MSP and RS19 (I have one too) just computed the speed assuming the wheel is exactly 18 or 19 inch. But your tire doesn't stay on its tip-toes when you ride it. It stays lower. This is math. As many people like riding with low pressure, your wheel diameter is an inch smaller, which translates in 3.14 inches shorter travel for each turn (the circumference of your wheel is π times its diameter). If you are a heavy rider, that's 2 inch (from the theoretical 18 or 19), so that is 53 inches per turn instead of 59, in circumference. The MCU counts the speed from how many times the wheel turns, there is no "telemetry" or "radar" or rocket science stuff inside, so, that is your 10% speed difference.
      I had the same issue with my RS, as I am relatively heavy (90kg geared) and I like my pressure around 28 PSI. I don't go much off-road and I don't do jumps. So the RS always showed me 10% higher speed compared with the GPS (note that the GPS speed is also not "real", it is usually about 1-2% lower than the real, due to meandering and your device not having a physical GPS chip, but that is another discussion, I can talk more about if needed). After the old tire was almost gone, I changed it to a 80/90 Michelin City Pro (which is bigger than the original CST tire of the RS19) and right now my RS is more accurate than the GPS. No joke.
      With the Master Pro I have, due to the fact that the rim sucks (only 145 kg max rated weight! I wonder how comes no famous reviewer talks about that!) I have to keep the pressure in the tire high, like 36 to 40 PSI (with RS I can not do that, my back will kill me, as there is no suspension, you feel like riding a stone, but the MP has a good suspension, and it rides better with a harder tire), and it shows only about 3-4% higher speed than the GPS, which again, it means about the same accuracy :D (i.e. 2% higher than real, while the GPS shows 2% lower).
      My V8F is always inflated at 30-32 PSI and it always shown the GPS speed when going straight line, and a 1-2% higher when cornering/meandering, it was like that when I bought it, no change done for it.
      For the newer wheels the story may be different, I would not bet that the manufacturers didn't start slowly mocking up the speed beyond the theoretical tire size limit, because it looks better for marketing. I don't have newer wheels to try.
      In summary, the manufacturers will not be able to "tune" the speed to your GPS, because this depends on your weight, your tire pressure, your GPS device (physical GPS chip or not), and your riding style (how much you are meandering, etc). But you (not you personally, I mean the general rider) should take that in the positive way: it is for your safety, you are tempted to slow down when you see a higher speed 😃

      @WheelGoodTime  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both C38 and C40 have lots of torque, but they used to call c30 motors high speed and C38 high torque. Since then, c30 has been retired and C40 has become the newest "high torque" variant, effectively turning the c38 into the "high speed with lightly less torque" variant. In practical use, you're looking at probably only a few miles per hour difference between c38 and C40 on the GT Pro.

      Whoops, for whatever reason, I can't edit from this browser. I posted that before watching. Things you didn't touch: battery size and range. At "13 kW when I lean hard" you can sustain your speed for... how long? 20 minutes? before depleting the battery (3kWh/13kW), which, at 55mph (because you are leaning hard, remember 😜), makes a range of... 18 miles? 😄 (yeah, I know this is not true, but that's the calculation I make as long as you didn't try to convince me otherwise). Things you may have gotten wrong (I am not sure, I didn't make my homework well enough, so please correct me if I am in the weeds): wasn't ET Max the first 168V wheel? (and this is the second, launched abot 40 days after, or at least this was the order I got them offered on AliExpress, which I watch like a hawk ever since I got this EUC disease and few others)

      @WheelGoodTime  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      13kw+ isn't sustainable or else you'd be accelerating forever 😂 I just meant while accelerating hard. This wheel can sustain 60 mph speeds but I'd say it can go about 25 miles if you are riding like a lunatic. Or 60-70+ miles if you keep it super slow (25 mph or so).
      The GT pro was the first to be announced with 168 volts, I'm not sure who pumped or their first batch though. This announcement came on the heels of the lynx announcement just so they could outdo the lynx and steal sales from them 😀
