She is so beautiful, inside and out! She is a victim without the victim mentality and she did not allow the actions of a monster to define her life! This woman is amazing!! I would love to have lunch with her and just be in her presence!

She is still saying her father is a "Decent Man" at 70 so she will do the same as her mother that will protect a monster. Her mother was more than likely a victim as well.

The same thing happened to me in the state of Kentucky. If you look up the Ballard name in Bath County or the surrounding counties, you’ll discover that I was the youngest person on a witness stand to testify against my biological grandfather and two uncles. My family that I came from was very very sick! One of my uncles is in prison for killing that little boy Wesley Mullins. That took place in Bourbon County, Kentucky. I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t think my uncle murdered that little boy. That uncle loved us girls when we were growing up and bought us Christmas presents when nobody else did. I believe because of the Ballard name he was charged for it. My uncle even brought out little Wesley to play with my son who was the same. I was adopted at the age of 14 and so were my 4 other sisters. I wrote a book about my life in the hollers of Kentucky and I am proud of the woman I am today. I too was very promiscuous at an early age, but that is all you know when you’re groomed at the earliest age you can remember. (4y/o) 🙁

This is so sad. She mentioned that many children are taught to tell an adult about "bad touches. " What we aren't taught, is what to do when the bad touch comes from a parent, aunt or uncle or other family member. 😢

Just make you sick inside knowing how messed up the minds of these abusers are, fondeling iand having sex with a little child, practically a baby, its past sick to hurt a child in any way. So happy she was a brave liitle girl who spoke up to her mother and although her mother did not take it serious, God gave her other family members that stepped up and got him charged with this awful, just disturbing crime against his own child. Praying for you that you continue to be brave, strong and help others. May God bless, protect and keep you always. 🙏🙏🙏♥️

Why do these mothers always ask, "Are you sure that he touched you...?" I experienced something similar, and it just goes to show that they did know what had happened to you all those yers. Turned a blind eye. I'm so sorry that you went through this, missis. Keep your head up, and keep being resilient. Hugs from Montréal, Québec, 🇨🇦 💛☮️🕊

Well, there have been times in history when a child has lied or misunderstood the type of touch that occurred. The majority of children do tell the truth but the question has to be ask and in complete detail. The worst thing is to have a innocent person fighting for their freedom as we still see today. Many men have been released every year from false allegations.

So sorry this happened to you. Your story brought tears to my eyes. Your a strong and brave lady. Thanks for sharing your story, you have helped me to know I an not alone. As a child you have no understanding of such a heinous crime. Especially by your father someone you trust. I was not told to tell if anyone touched me. My mum and dad never protected me in my own home. It was life shattering. I can relate to you becoming promiscuous, its not unusual. To this day, as an adult, I have trust issues. I pray peace, love, light, blessings and continuous healing over your life.💜❤🙏🏾

How was her father a "Decent man"? She is still saying this at 70. This means she may have done the same to her children. The mom may have been a child abuse victim as well. Her father was never "DECENT" and he had no "GUIDANCE" for anyone. She blames her mom but she herself is protecting the Monster with praise the same as her mom.
