Women always know. They turn a blind eye even when it’s their biological children. They sell their children out to their men either to keep the men from bothering THEM sexually , OR bc they rely on the man financially and dont want to be alone. Whatever he reason - they ALWAYS know.
How could you not know someone in your house is being raped for YEARS?

      Resilience...
There comes a time when you stop crying, you stop reliving the thing and make the thing your footstool...
Sometimes it's more about being resilient than just being strong. Strong things break every day. Because something evil broke you into pieces, but you know something divine put you back together.

Right now they do the bare minimum of a background check but maybe the person never got caught yet. They should conduct psychological exams and lie detector tests. Those may weed out some of these folks with hidden deviants and intentions. As a foster parent myself I wouldn’t mind being subjected to any steps they need to take to keep these kids safe.

In fact, several times I've dated girls in the teen years and felt they had been tampered with physically only to find out that it was true. The pain of losing these persons because of their irrational bipolar behavior from their sexual assaults. Your suffering affects me too. @@coym5452 black people need to let the 2% that are trying to tell the rest of us how to do it right have children and the rest of us need to stop having them. And I mean TWO percent. We're in no position collectively individually to adopt nor have them regardless of income.

And you are, a strong woman.

Sometimes we just want someone to protect us.
I hope and pray you have found someone to protect you now.

Foster care, adoption agencies, and child protective services (CPS) often fail to systematically educate children about abuse, sexual assault, and violence, despite their core mission of protecting children. This neglect is unacceptable, as children in these systems are particularly vulnerable and need to be informed about these dangers. The lack of consistent education on these critical issues represents a serious failure, and those responsible for overlooking this should be held accountable. Agencies and individuals involved in child protection should face consequences for not providing the necessary education to protect children from further harm.

ALL children should be educated at a young age about appropriate vs, inappropriate touch, and what to do if they experience it. Any parent who fails to do this are a failure. You can not keep predators away from your children, but you can keep your your children away from predators by arming them with knowledge.
