What size was the rear tyre? Hearing a lot of conflicting info about the size you can fit. I need a new rear tyre and keen to get a bigger size without doing any other mods.

So something I learned In motorsports and high end automotive wiring. They push crimp connectors over solder because you change the resistance value with solder.
Those rabaconda’s look so nice, might pick one up in a year or two when my tires are up for a change. Just seeing it conquer that stiff ass tire sold me on it for sure. They be charging $70 a wheel here at the shops, I’ll make my money back by helping friends with theirs and time
There’s a learning curve to it and I struggled BIG on this tire. To be fair, this tire was worn in and mounted before. A new tire wouldn’t have given me that much trouble.
When you powder coat anything that has a threaded hole it’s a good form of practice to purchase a tap and die set to clean the threads of powder before installing a bolt or nut.
I have the rabaconda tire changer too and I absolutely love it! A “real” tire machine would be nice but the street bike tire changer is really nice and it’s portable AND it costs a fraction of what a tire machine costs.

Nah, you’re right. I mixed it up with ThunderStroke/Challenger and didn’t bother removing the comment. It can be put on without removing the swing arm.
Brandon, have you tried using tires other than the Night Dragons on a chief? I like their performance but longevity isn't the greatest. Have any recommendations?
If you need to powder coat for yourself, you should leave the screws (not tighten down) to cover the inner threads. Remove the screws before the powder coat drys. 50/50 with paint. 🫡

I’m impressed you just casually use your HF platform jack. Mine takes 15min of faffing around to get it to work.

I use Avon currently. Enjoy the Metzlers also.
