    I'm not one to typically leave reviews but I honestly had to after using this product. I have 20x10 gloss black truck wheels with 5 years worth of salt, mud and brake dust that were never professionally cleaned or coated. Everytime I would clean them it looked like i was doing more harm then good and they felt like sandpaper when I would rub my hand on them.... I bought their wheel kit as shown in this video but instead of a 5" pad i bought a 6" pad with a 5" plate. My wheels have a deep lip recessed between the spokes and barrel. This allows me to get into those deep areas without having the polisher hit the wheel. I followed the steps in this video and I honestly cannot believe the difference. My wheels literally look brand new and are glass smooth. I wish I could post photos. I honestly thought I would have had to repaint my wheels but after a few hours on a boring day afternoon the results are unbelievable. If you have gloss black wheels do not sleep on this.

    Would this work on spray painted alloy wheels? Recently spray painted my wheels black gloss and I'm going to just say the finish looks sub par. I got some orange peel and some runs/ clogs.

    • @dura-coatingtechnology9620
      @dura-coatingtechnology9620  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It won't fix that issue I don't belive. You won't remove orange peel with that polish

    When u go to clean them after the coating do u use a wheel cleaner or just soap. I'm assuming a wheel cleaner might remove the coating

    I noticed you didn't apply any to the middle of the wheel (spokes), is this not supposed to be applied there? Still another great video about a awesome product.

      This is just a product demo video. We didn't do the entire wheel. The demo process would apply to all parts of the wheel. All areas can be polished and coated

    What's the difference between wheelie clean and iron off?

  • @Rudyfastcat1
    @Rudyfastcat1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is the Iron off supposed to have an overpowering chemical smell?
    The 32 oz I received sure does and I can still smell it 3 weeks later after washing my wheels

    • @dura-coatingtechnology9620
      @dura-coatingtechnology9620  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We don't have that issue at all. We have hundreds of gallons in out shop and we can't smell it at all. Sounds like the caps are not on tight or it's leaking. I also have it in my garage for my vehicles and can't smell it all. Check your caps on your bottles. We don't have any issues like that nor has anyone ever had that issue that's purchased this product

    • @dura-coatingtechnology9620
      @dura-coatingtechnology9620  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The videos are based on what vehicles are in our detail shop and what work we are doing. The process would be the same except use a heavier cutting pad and our Step 1 compound and then finish them down using softer foam pads and ceramic Final polish

    WOULDNT A PALM POLISHER BE BETTER?

    • @dura-coatingtechnology9620
      @dura-coatingtechnology9620  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We don't use palm polishers at all. But if that works for you have at it. Palm polishers being used in the detailing trade are very rare if at all. That's more a body shop tool. We do have Palm polishers we use for sanding

    • @AntoineFinch
      @AntoineFinch 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just thought with the small space available on a wheel it would be better, no criticism was meant, didn't put it in question format, I apologize for questioning you

    • @dura-coatingtechnology9620
      @dura-coatingtechnology9620  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AntoineFinch palm sanders aren't popular for detailing. You certainly could use one. We like the polisher in the video but you can use what ever works for that task. We only use palm Sanders for wet sanding. Sorry you're offended. No offense meant
