I kind of avoided watching anyone else play this. I just love the way you play games. You don’t just comment on what you’re doing-you talk to your community and make us feel like we are with you on your adventures. And the amazing thing is, you have done the same since you started making videos. You haven’t changed as your channel has grown up. 😃 Thanks for being a Good Guy and a good role model, Lord Fooster!
This game does so much with sound. The background thrumming, the unexpected groans and breathing. Very well done. But if anything that looks like the bear from Annihilation shows up, I’ll freak. 😂
Watching from Algeria , north Africa this game is really atmospheric and creepy as hell , what made it all come together is fooster and his role playing skills
Why hasn’t this gotten more hype? It’s visually stunning and the sound design is literally genius. It’s better than a lot of AAA Games. Not to mention the jump-scares are legit. Nothing scares me, been a gamer for 34 years since I was 5yo with the Atari, played all the horror games…and yet this one actually got me more than once. Seriously impressed.
Originally from UK but living in Sweden right now. It can get like this sometimes in the winter but the worst part which I still haven't got used to is it being completely dark at around 3pm and sometimes even earlier if it's an overcast day. On the flip side in the summer it can be completely daylight by around 2.30 am which still amazes me to see every year.
From the US - where are the firearms? I mean the very first thing an American would think of when considering investigating a creepy set of supernatural occurrences at a cabin in the wilderness is: where can I stop to get a shotgun on the way up there? Isn’t there a Walmart with a sporting goods department right off the highway? Unless they already owned a gun or several guns, in which case it would be: where can I stop and pick up some decent ammunition? Even if a gun would be totally useless, the developer should at least let you grab an axe or pitchfork. Games that won’t let you arm yourself bug me a little bit because it’s such a basic instinct.
Del Rio Texas. I am right on the border, I’m actually less than half a mile from the border. My little small town has been in the news a lot lately. I must say between you and Fisk, my days are much brighter. Thank you so much Fooster!
I think those paintings on the wall for the Braizer puzzle were talking about you. The first is like the ancient's call or the clues you need to follow being scattered around, the second is the cube illuminating your path. The third depicts the alien world and the last one shows the monstrous form of you. Also since a lot of these themes mess with time and space I would be willing to bet that the creature that keeps chasing you, or maybe herding you, is you. I think that is monster Arthur either trying to stop you from becoming the monster, or herding you towards the truth.
Interestingly enough, not taking the axe to defend himself, in fact generally speaking not getting prepared at all did seem like a weakness in the plot, albeit hardly uncommon in horror games, but then you see the ending it suddenly doesn't matter anymore. If we assume the dude was in the tube from the beginning (there was that one photo suggesting as much) and this was all just a demented dream, basically, it would make sense. On the other hand, since time loses its meaning in the outer world, you might also say that the dude was in the tube and outside of the tube, going through this adventure, at the same time. A really stylish game. Thanks for posting the video!
Watching in a small regional town in Victoria, Australia! (currently inhaling chicken nuggets) I am not usually into spooky games but your playthroughs of them are my favourite.
I feel ya on the heights thing. I mean, I know its only a game, but being up really high still puts my heart in my mouth. And "don't look down" really doesn't work....you still know its a 1000 ft drop to instant death! Ok, that ending...............leaves so many unanswered questions! Small town in New Zealand, btw.

Fooster, I cannot explain to you how great you make these playthroughs. Because of this I've learned to be more careful in games, to look around and immerse myself. Even if I don't own the game, I can still feel the emotion and experience with you and it's great ! You're super great !
I would definitely be down to watch you play the "Land of Pain" prequel! And I agree with your assessment, very Lovecraft. As soon as I recognized Cthulhu, I was hooked! I really hope they expand this into a series and delve further into the lore. Also, howdy from the good old US of A!

From Ontario, Canada. Weather is pretty accurate to my city during the winter. It’s not nearly as bad as you’d imagine, so long as you layer your clothes
I knew it! This is a follow-up to Land of Pain. The game elements are right from that game which came out a few years back where you play out the events of the sphere.
I really like your gameplays. This one is my favourite.Reminds me one of my favourite writer, H.P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu-universe (Cthulhu is the octopus faced thing in the water, the ancient god).
Watching from Poland. Love your storytelling and how you manage to make the gameplay even more immersive. Can't wait for the next game from this developer!
Originally from Ukraine but I live in Canada NB. Is that game based on Call of Cthulhu tales? That monster in the end looks exactly like Cthulhu. The game has so much potential I would love if the game would be longer and opens more about what happened and more detailed. The ambient sound in the game so good and your emotions makes it even better 😁

I got a call from my landlord that they had to enter my apartment since the tennant above me hade forgotten a window open in their bathroom and the cold had frozen a pipe and it burst. From an open window in an otherwise heated apartment. Crazy to think of. That is by far the coldest winter I can remember and it was not even in the north. Now I live in the southern part and minus 10 celcius feels but cold. I really like your videos. Your storytelling and immersion is what got me hoked. Thank you for charing with us!

The Mythos is just amazing. All of time at once. Physical dimension folded onto itself. Even thoughts mixed with reality. You can see why the cultists wanted to visit. I mean yeah you go insane, but on the other hand, just being there gives knowledge of past, and future events.
Im pretty sure that big monster you were wanting to see so much (the really big one the size of a house) was Uncle Edgar. they said he went to the cabin, it caught fire, his footprints left but then stopped and never continued and in the area was a big, heavy creature's footprints. The order said that the creature appeared the same day Edgar disappeared. i don't think thats a coincidence. Also, the Great Priestess is the player characters mother. it was said that her children all have that dream of the cube landing and start having it when they are being called, also, Edgar said that you never met your mother. Great playthrough, and great game. i have some nitpicks but im not gonna bother with that. thanks for the playthrough.
I had to go ahead and subscribe today, I know the likelihood of you reading this is low, but I usually don't watch ANY youtubers that play horror with commentary.
