ABOUT THE GAME:
Having long studied ancient Egyptian lore, you’re intrigued by recent reports of structures appearing in the Sahara Desert via new satellite imaging. The locations seem familiar to you on a map, as they correspond to burial sites of the elite Mejai, powerful warriors blessed with unnaturally long life by the high-priest Akar for the purpose of protecting the pharaoh. However, a blessing in life may be a curse in death… Ancient texts mention these warriors turned mad exceeding the bounds of mortality, bringing death and ruin to those around them. To stop them, legend tells of a group of brave Egyptians who lured each Mejai into separate tombs using invaluable relics, and then trapped them inside forever…
While this story may be a myth, you feel obligated to investigate, as the historical and monetary value of such a discovery would be beyond your wildest dreams. But be careful - if the legends are true, the Mejai have been sulking in rage all this time, yearning to wreak havoc on humanity as revenge for their imprisonment.

I hate movies where the flashlights are significantly dimmer than every flashlight in existence. And when they run out of battery they flicker out instead of gradually dimming like actual flashlights.
They should get Brendan Fraser to voice this game. Like reading the lore or something haha.

He was a victim of metoo shit and was robbed of his wealth and tied up in court over the custody of his kids for years. He's a fat wreck now. He might even deign to voice a character in this game considering how fucked his career is now.

Wow, really cool that they are doing something with the Mejai. In the mummy they were protectors of mankind. The baboon statue at the beginning of the temple was either Babi or Thoth. Babi is the god alpha male baboons while Thoth is the wise god of baboons. Not sure which one though cuz I don't know my Egyptian mythology that well. I'm more of a Greek mythology geek, but I love anything that deals with mythology.
*(After a little more research, I would have to say it's Babi because Thoth is depicted as a stork or a crane I think.)

I absolutely love Egyptian based games, Egypt history has always fascinated me! I even tried studying the Egyptian alphabet at one point. But even to this day there are ppl that still worship the gods. Especially Anubis that I've seen so far
