I just love the way he plays. Like when those planks break when he tries to cross them in the cave and he gets terrified and annoyed and let’s us know it. On top of that he flinches at every sound and every shadow that moves. That sort of thing doubles the experience for the viewer, at least in my case.

So far it's also based on call of Cthulhu from HP Lovecraft. Especially with finding a missing uncle's strange manuscripts about his "research" As well as searching his apartment etc. That's literally how the story starts. I'm still waiting to see if a strange statue is involved lol

I had never involuntarily looked away or closed my eyes through sheer panic and fear from a playthrough video until towards the end back in Edgar's place... Fooster, I love your content but this one frightened the shit out of me. My whole body froze up and I had to have a break. That wouldn't happen without the level of immersion you give us.
