The weird youtube gods are apparently listening... At work, we've been using a machined Ultem 3/8-24 male to female threaded adapter for a pressure transducer on a "closed bomb" pressure vessel. It's function is to isolate the sensor from the voltage produced when initating our test (20kV). This has worked well at very high pressures up to 8,000psi and survived a variety to chemicals. Ironically today we broke it and were debating a possible replacement material as Ultem was chosen by a previous engineer and its qualities were never fully explained. So this was a gem of a recommended video! Great video and you save me a few Google searches when I have my coffee tomorrow morning!
Great review. Love CountyComm for their unique items. I have the brass Embassy pen...just wish they designed it better so you could put the cap on the end when you're using it.

I used to injection mold, and machine aircraft parts out of glass filled ultem. Namely arm rests, and the little air-conditioning balls you twist open above your seat.
man, i am all in on the countycomm ultem. i have everything but the embassy pen, which i had previously not wanted bc of the cap thing. excitedly waiting for my draft pencil in the mail! i wish they’d make an ultem clicky pen.
They sell top of the line items. The quality and durability of their gear is unmatched. Believe it or not their items aren't priced anywhere near what similar websites sell stuff for. Hands down though the best stuff you can buy for the money. Thanks for commenting and watching. I appreciate it!
Very expensive stuff. They used to have more affordable stuff a long time ago but now it's all overly expensive. The stuff he has on the table totals $200 for those little pieces of plastic.
Ultem is definitely not just some run of the mill plastic. The prices they sell their items for are significantly less than others selling similar products. It's not for everyone. Thanks for watching!
