Hey man!
I am a guitar player and songwriter currently making a living as a forester. We did some work over by her home place. Wasn’t aware of it until the neighbors told us it was 5 min away. Truly magical place
Great video, very respectful & informative, like you Dolly changed my life, her music saved my life, now I'm a Dolly Tribute, I have her to thank for everything.
Thanks!
Coat of Many colours are just my all time favourite song. I shed tears everytime i hear the song on the radio
Really loved your critical thinking in how not only honoring Dolly but those a part of her life. Your a very soulful person.
Thanks!
I'm a huge dolly fan she is my idol & I get to see her statue all the time because of vacation station tv
A very moving vlog. It is respectful and informative. Thank you.
No problem! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Lived in the area all my life and never been to that cemetery. Great video. Learned a few things. Subscribed.
Thanks! It was a fun one to make!
I am sure Dolly would be very impressed about the history of her childhood home if she saw this video!
I agree! Thanks!
yes
,
Also, it's nice that you have left flowers on her parents' gravestone. Ron, at Faces of the Forgotten always does that.
Thanks for sharing this with us
Knoxville here! Great video!
The Greatest female “OR” Male country singer ever! She is the GOAT! ❤❤❤❤❤ What a woman, Lady, Mother and Star! I love you Dolly!
Dolly was born January 19, 1946. not 1944. Just a friendly correction. This is a great video. You said 2046 at the Chestnut box after 1944 at her original house.
My sister-in-law was born the exact same day, 1-19-46!
💝
My favorite song of hers is Coat of Many Colors
That used to be us both on our first date when Lee got sick of yall, that used to be when she had her first hamburger on our first date, it beat the Wishy Washy!
A few days ago, I saw a video about the 100 greatest duets, and it said that Dolly became popular as the result of singing in duets, as she wasn't (popular):on her own. She doesn't have a great voice. Too childish. She does however, seem like a very nice person.
Bill Owens headstone will be marked William Earl Owens, as that’s his full name. I’ve gone to Angel Hill/Caton’s chapel and have seen his grave so I know it’s there.
I remember when she looked like that when we used to get married.... when she was a Chile bride at the Vatican well I guess she was younger than that....
And it was Dr. Robert F. Thomas.
When this was the Whitehouse the flashing lights were in the barn that's all I remember.... I told you one way or another she'll put them everywhere!
Loretta Lynn had similar background
Those are lilies my friend
@dollyparton
Well when Avy was the first lady and Lee was the President that's what I remember when we went home... oO Lucifer ( listening )
Carl Dean - not James Dean
Carl Dean not James Dean
Why are their graves outside of the cemetery proper?
Larry’s grave was the first in the whole cemetery, Dollys parents, nephew, niece, and brother came a little after. I think they wanted to separate the Parton’s to make it more special, and easier access for Dolly.
You said 1944, not 1946.
Dolly had gynecological issues in early 80's - seemed surgery was involved. She may not have been able to conceive. What you described to what maybe Dolly's future burial site looked like a cremation niche for maybe 12 people. Just guessing there but I bet she does want to be buried with her people
Dolly conceived a child, unfortunately she lost the baby. Unfortunately, Dolly was unable to carry the baby to term, and she was informed she would never be able to have a child. I’m not sure about surgery, but sound probable.
She was born in 1944? Who told you that??
I know! I was like “U mean 1946…? Her brother Denver was 1944.
I thought Dolly was born January 19 1945. Check your facts sir!
No, 1946.
🙄
2 minutes in and no house, disappointing.
This isn't a video game. Patience, sir.
RIP Dolly and Willie.
Dolly ain't dead yet. It'll be a national day of mourning when she does pass though.
@@acdcnut2011 ❤❤😥😥😪😪❤❤
Dolly and Willie are both still kickin’. Quit posting stuff that is not true!
Pssst !
You're, not your, trying to be your extra set of eyes
I try to be lol
@@acdcnut2011 Carl's asphalt business didn't kick off till some time in the 70 's !
As Barbara's oldest daughter, Devona, would say, "Mark is FULL of totally useless info,."
Huh I didn't know that part lol
You breathing hard get that cardio in
Yes, have to agree with your cardio advice. I too thought this young bloke is sure doing a lot of "huffing and puffing" after a very short stint up that hill.
Well, on the earths when I make sence this guy loves Lucifer's love poems to Dolly, I usually sell a book of them when she has Ty and don't do this doodle crap that does make sence, I used to have a series one for when she got pregnant with each kid, I used to make sence believe it or not but this earth they screwed with me so much I can't write those sex poems I normally sell, these lunatics in the future do this stuff in real life that's what I can tell! Lucifer oO ( listening ) wtf
It’s spelled ‘sense’.
@@bluegrasshack3810That wasn't making sense...😂
You need some help, sir.
