Yeah, punk is generally more stripped down and simplified in song structures, but heck so is AC/DC, and they're usually labeled metal or even just hard rock. Listening to Sweet album Desolation Boulevard and listening to the solo on man with the golden arm got me hooked. After that i bought some new records that just had come out and one of them was a maiden record and trying to master that music took me a while. Talking about the singers, i always fealt that Dianno had to little power live and couldnt sing anywhere near like the records so when Bruce took over i really thought it was better. The music itself is same though with the fantastic melodies and riffs. Those who disagree i respect, up the irons.
CUANDO SE FORMO EL TRABUCO MAS GRANDE DE LA HISTORIA DEL METAL BEST METAL BAND ALL TIMES !!!!
6:36 "Craaazy" -> Bobby Blitz listened very carefully those kinds of screams :D
I would like more Dickinson's Maiden era if he have singed this way at least on records
Then you love song "Be quick or be dead"
I was introduced to Iron Maiden by the 1990 album and they became my #1 rock band long time (To say nothing of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and such greats). Then I listened to the 1981 album and others. Both albums have their own good singer. I like Paul Di'Anno's voice (RIP) on the 1981 album better.
Damn! No wonder he got the gig.
