I also have water bottles that are iron flasks and hydroflasks and I like the RTIC Jug by far the best.
My only problem with the RTIC Jug is that it's so big haha.

I just bought the gallon. Been using the Walmart brand TAL water bottles and the tops are garbage. Had several break on me. I will be carrying this in a backpack when I go hiking with my girlfriend so we both have access to plenty of cold water... And for my daily drink intake 😀 thanks for the review!

@@dylanw6427 it was absolutely worth it. It looks ridiculous, but I fill my water less and I have plenty of ice cold water. Easy to share if my girlfriend is thirsty too 😂 I usually drink about 1.5 of these a day. I take it to work too. Definitely recommend. And the top is wide so it's super easy to clean it

Can you do a Rtic vs Yeti gallon jug test. I’ve had my Yeti gallon jug for several months now and the only things i don’t like about it is the lid is too hard to get off if you have it too tight and second would be is that you have to have the lid a certain way so it doesn’t leak on you when you take a drink

No, it sticks pretty well :) if not, you could always hold it with your finger while you drink from it.
I'm debating between .5 Gal and the 1 gal. RTIC makes great stuff

Thinking of getting a half-gallon RTIC jug but I've heard some complaints about it leaking because the gasket on the lid gets pinched or the cap doesn't always screw on right. Is there any truth to this?
Mine has only leaked if I don't screw it on right

I need a straw cap for this 1 gal jug. Rtic does not sell one but I've heard yeti lids will work. Is this true? A yeti straw cap on an rtic 1gal. It's also pronounced rtic (as in arctic).
Yeah I just learned the pronunciation haha but I don't like it. I don't know for sure on the yeti lids. Sorry.
Most people won't be able to carry it hiking because it is way too heavy.

WHY WOULD YOU DISLIKE THE SIZE WHEN YOU CAN BUY SMALLER ONES OF THE SAME BRAND? LOLOL THE "TAL" BRAND AT WALMART HOLDS ICE FOR 2 TO 3 DAYS AND THE LIQUID STAYS COLD THEN COOL FOR 4 DAYS! I BOUGHT A PLASTIC GAS CONTAINER VENT AND PUT IT IN MY TOP AND POP IT OPEN WHEN I DRINK SO IT CAN FLOW.
I didn't purchase it haha. It was a gift. Also, I actually prefer the gallon Jug. I'm just saying that it's not ideal for certain uses :)
I KNOW IT WAS A GIFT I WATCHED THE VIDEO HAHA! BUT THEY WERENT ALL GIFTS IM SURE. SO YOU PURCHASED THEM. NOT ASSUMING THEY WERE STOLEN OR FOUND IN A DUMPSTER. LOLOLOL IM JUST SAYING THE TAL 32 oz AT WALMART IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT ON THE DAYS YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE PREFERS A SMALLER ONE. LOL
$50 or $100 and they're both made in china.
