Water bottle + Self defense weapon = Awesome
I agree!
This review actually convinced me to buy the product. It was between this in the Hydrojug and the price is a little more expensive for this but you can tell the quality is much higher
I work in west Texas and this does hold ice all day. Ill leave it in my van at 100+ and still have ice at the end of the day
That was my idea! Always got reserve water in the car.
Thank you
Hey Nick what is the color of your rtic jug?
That's what I'm talking about! I appreciate his demonstration but I live in Georgia & it gets hot here in the deep south & so I want something durable & that can hold plenty water when I'm out doing pick up & delivery & climbing in and out of an 18 wheeler all day everyday in the summer months! I know dog gone not Dawg (Forever LSU GEAUX Tigers) well it's in the 100's in Texas & I was just there in July to pick my truck up & good Lord it is hhhhhhot in the Big Horn state🥵 So your comment is good enough for me👍🏿
I just wish someone did this challenge with yeti vs rtic.. its always a salesman inside "testing"
Drinking a large frozen daiquiri in my Rtic 32 oz mug. Keeps cold for 6 hours. Love it and have given several as gifts. Peace
I just subscribed just cause the way you said “Ooooone Gallon Jugggg” definitely wont get snooze videos from you Im sure now!
Noooo Snoooooze Zone!!!
Im having problems with my ozarka trail lid coming off im looking at that lid and its the same exact construction. First day i used mine it fell over and got my truck soaked
How does it pour out? For example I use my gallon jug to pour into my smaller bottle, but my lid sucks and it does not pour well.
In all honesty, YETI and RTIC are pretty similar if not identical. Their products are just as good as YETI. This is coming an individual, who used to rotomold the YETI Tundra coolers for YETI. It really comes down to a personal preference and style.
Nice review, thanks! 👍👍👍
I've had this exact jug for close to 5 years and it's still doin it's job! My biggest complaint is the lid is not vented which causes the water to pour slowly (slower with ice in it) and it does the glug, glug thing. My son called Rtic and asked if they planned to fix the vent issue and they told him NO not now or ever, Bad move Rtic!!
Thanks for the review
What a beast!!! You could win the war with that thing!
I need this, I can use this for water or when I stop at the gas station for a fountain drink every now and then plus I bought a set of reuseable ice cubes so that my drinks don't get watered down.
I need one badly. I work in a workshop here in Dallas and on days where it gets 90 outside its about 110 inside our shop since it has no AC.
How is the cap keeper holding up? I heard they break easily.
I love your sense of humor. Your comments crack me up. Thanks for the review. I am a teacher in Arizona and have bus duty in the mornings and afternoons. I need water on the 115+ degree days and my biggest bottle is 40 oz. I run out of water after about 20 minutes and need something bigger but do not want to drop over $100 on something. Do you feel the white bottles actually perform better? I gravitate towards the black bottles because I love to cover my bottles with stickers and black clashes less with just about any sticker I choose. Should I seriously consider the white for the larger bottle because of temperature differences?
Panda rules!!!
Great review. 2:35: nice Mega Man reference.
Cleaning factor sounds good for big mouth design
Have both yeti and rtic gallon yeti by far just quality too
This is probably useful for getting ice at the hotel ice machine
Question,,,does it leak?
Morning Pete!!!
Mornin, Paul!
Is it bpa free?
Just got mine today and where I live it’s about 100+ degrees so we’ll see how it goes
How did it go???
I’m curious too, how’s it holding up?
Ozark trail version from Walmart for $10. Going on five years now daily use.
So I have this huge and after leaving it in the car I have liquid between layers. RTIC says only a 90 day warranty. Anyone know of a fix? Anyone else have this issue? It adds weight and just annoying. At this moment I am thinking the Stanley might have been the way to go with their life time warranty.
The thing that keeps it cold is the vacuum seal. If that cracks and is full of water, it won’t be effective anymore. If you can’t get them to replace, you should really just buy another one
Does anyone know of a lid with straw replacement that fits this jug?
Search 1 gallon straw on Amazon. Collapses inside the lid
@@ssyrus546 oh ok
sir the material of the cap? thank you.
I think it's some type of plastic or polymer.
is it reakkt air tight using to sustain and maintain PH
Like just for how you said gallon jug
funny guy lol, thanks for the review
Thanks for watching, Chidi!
I imagine on a hot day on a golf course you could put that Beast on the back of your golf cart and cover it with a windbreaker jacket so the Starter or Marshals dont harass you.
It does work!
does anyone know if the one gallon can be put in the freezer?
Every manufacturer suggests not putting them in the freezer or the dishwasher. It damages the bottle/jug.
@@shannonstanley5752 I went through so many sites looking for this information. If they suggest it, you would think its a bit more published..
One Galllllon Juggg
Half price of the yeti, I just dnt want to spend 100 on a yeti. I have a rtic cooler and it's been solid.
My stainless steel jugs sweats does anyone else have this problem
Yes that means the seal has been compromised. I suggest filing for the free claim warranty.
get the jug , go to gas station and get large cup of ice and pour it in the jug, put your drink of choice in the jug and enjoy all day.
I agree!
AR…..TICK
I’m starting to think I don’t need one gallon
They are false advertising.
I’ve filled mine with ice and left it in the car (middle of summer in the California desert) for 3 days and it still had ice.
They surpass their 24 hour claims.
That opening reminds me of my ex girlfriend.
2:08
Fortnite moment
RTIC produces a lot of knock offs of YETI!
Even the names are similar!
When they loss the vacuum it become no good no more. Mines last 6 months and ice last only few hours. Dont buy vacuum insulated cooler. Big waste of money.
We have to preserve them. Keep it safe don't bump them.
Piece of shit.. the cap is this hollow plastic, so the temperature transfers quickly up the cap and it will sweat due to condensation. Temperature doesn’t last as long the reviews. I bought this half gallon a couple months back and now the whole body has condensation ON THE OUTSIDE. An indication that the vacuum insulation has been compromised. I have never dropped it in fact i took good care of it knowing I need cold water throughout the day. Now I need to go buy another one. So I think my next one I’m going straight for the Yeti.
Yeah.i almost buy until i found your comment.means i gonna look for thick cap design
Hahaha beat ppl like hulk that was funny 😂
Man every video or item I like this guy does too he does reviews over everything I like we are the same 😄😁
