I am going to try this today or tomorrow. My Buick failed state inspection due to these rear shocks leaking fluid. Also it needed front brakes. Those are already on. What is funny though this shop told me these shocks are only available from the dealer and they are $480 each. I really had to fight to keep from busting out laughing. I ordered them off of Amazon and they should be here today. Then they said they had some recommended work " " for me which consists of both valve cover gaskets and the front motor mount. They had $284 listed on the estimate just for the mount and the labor to put in on, and I ordered it on Amazon for 27 dollars. I may not do the gaskets myself but I have a man who does my work if I can't . His labor is $40 an hour. A let better than $140 an hour is what this shop has on the estimate. LOL Thank you for the video. It is a great help

Either the compressor, and/or valving leaks, or you have an air line leak. That would be my guess. You could hose everything down with a bottle of soapy water, and look for bubbles. My bro had a problem with the leveler on that car. It jacked it all the way up. I told him to unplug the compressor, or air lines, until he gets it fixed, and have not heard about it since.

One of the better vids I’ve seen on the subject. What’s the make and part number of those shocks? I’m doing the same thing to my 05 Lesabre and haven’t been able to find the right shocks with the style fitting that’s in your video. The ones I ordered from AutoZone were ACDelco and we’re allegedly compatible to my car but when they came in I noticed the nipple on the shocks are threaded and the air line on the car is a clip on (not compatible). Went back to AutoZone but all they seem to have are shocks with threaded nipples. Any advise?

@@RustBeltAuto Thank you for replying, I had seen where the whole rear end bounces, but not the super ball effect of just the single tire... ended up finding a few videos of that. I have ordered the air spring to coil conversion kit as I've had previous problems with the air shocks. One winter the car was stuck with the shocks extended, so it sat with the rear end very high, but once the weather warmed up it went back to normal.
