What i like in UG is that : - he doesn't preach a spiritual or religious view - he rather invites people to be skeptical - he presents a view on life which is acausal, things are because things are, and understanding it is a brain condition, a rather rare one - he can say things like "my body will rot like the one of a garden slug" almost right in front of death, knowing he could die within minutes - he is funny - he doesn't sell bullshit - he has personal and original opinions This is enough for me to think he is brilliant.

That's probably a very good question.
To some, UG is brilliant, to some he is rude and wrong in everything, to some he is just someone talking.
What i like in UG is that :
- he doesn't preach a spiritual or religious view
- he rather invites people to be skeptical
- he presents a view on life which is acausal, things are because things are, and understanding it is a brain condition, a rather rare one
- he can say things like "my body will rot like the one of a garden slug" almost right in front of death, knowing he could die within minutes
- he is funny
- he doesn't sell bullshit
- he has personal and original opinions
This is enough for me to think he is brilliant.
That's a great answer. I suppose you do have a point. However, UG said that all the cells in his body changed and that the way he was functioning is entirely unique. This is very 'guru' and no one seemed to pulled him up on this. Anyway, i'll give UG more of my attention and thanks again for your excellent reply.

Uh, he explains it in the video lol... but to answer the question; my favorite book from him is 'Mind is a Myth' but his more known book is 'The Natural State'
His point is actually simple. It's not a big deal. It is just that our minds have been used as a dumpster, with so much nonsense dumped into it by society. Now that my mind is profoundly clear. I understand what U.G. has been conveying for all of these years with so much ease.
