    I'm a Gillingham local myself. I miss this service very much. Far more useful than the TL even though it had less stops and didn't go through the core.

      I’ve heard rumours that they may restore the fast calling pattern on the Thameslink service, the all stations service really is unpopular, especially since it calls at minor shacks like Swanscombe, Slade Green and Plumstead, the point of this service being fast was it called only at key stations or stations which were located or near large areas

      It is kind of, though we still have shorter Networker routes to Dartford and Gravesend. As well some mainline ones to Dover, Folkestone and Tunbridge Wells (though mostly in rush hour or late evenings).

      Sometimes on weekdays I think, brel 465s travel to gillingham via sole street , you'll get some serious thrash on those lines, although, its usually run by met cam 465s and sometimes 375s, so I'm not sure when the brel 465s are active

    My line is to London Liverpool Street...wish I could get off at Charing Cross and see that wonderful bridge and view every time I come into London

    The May 20th 2018 timetable change also effected my local line, having no Networkers at all, Ashford is just boring without the 465s

    Look out for some 465's on the Dover Priory trains + 465's are still frequent on Charing Cross - Tunbridge Wells :)

      the class 465s don't normally work the London-Dover Priory services they normally work the London-Dartford services

      They do work the Victoria - Dover Priory service via Farningham Road

      The class 365s used to work the Victoria - Ramsgate and Victoria - Dover Priory services alongside the class 423 VEPS, class 421 GIGs and class 411 CEPs

    When a Javworker is working with a Networker, I always sit in the networker cause it has the better motor sound.

    It's a shame that you didn't do this on the 19th and 20th, I was out on the north kent line filming it then. Rip networkers on the north kent

      Yeah, I originally thought this service was getting axed on this date, but it turned out it was the 19th that it stopped. Thameslink were only doing Plumstead to Kentish Town on the 20th. At least we still have the Victoria/Charing X/Cannon St - Dartford/Gravesend Networkers still running on the North Kent Line.

      And also there is a new service which runs from Victoria to Dover once every hour via the Chatham Mainline which is run by networkers

    I am not happy that the charring cross trains never too at my local station. Just Cannon Street trains.

    I hate the new Thameslink service it's far too long and too many stops, I sincerely hope the CX-Gillingham semi fasts return someday

      I do mostly agree, they could have made it like this service and have it skip more stations in a semi-fast style service. But some of the connections are decent, though my biggest issue is not really the route, its riding on the Class 700s for that long, its too uncomfortable.

      @@TheFinalHoss pretty much, it stops at all The quiet minor stations when the doors open only air goes in, its wrong that an outer suburban/regional service is downgraded to being an all stops metro

    If there going to extend the thameslink line, it needs to terminate near ebbfleet or Gravesend it’s to long

      This service only called at major interchange or places of interest stations, Plumstead is a minor station, the new Thameslink is far too slow, the former Gillingham service was far superior

      Same for me when North Kent Line is closed for works it’s diverted via bexleyheath and doesn’t stop at my local station
