A Weekend Afternoon of South Eastern services at London Charing Cross, heading around the South East of London, United Kingdom. Trains include:
- Southeastern Class 375s
- 375/6 - Built in 1999/01 - AC & DC
- 375/8 - Built in 2004/05 - DC Only
- 375/9 - Built in 2003/04 - Commuter Layout
- Southeastern Class 376s
- 376 - Built in 2004/05 - DC Only
- Southern Class 455s
- 455/8 - Built in 1982/84 (Refurbished in 2004 and 2012)
- Southeastern Class 465s
- 465/0 - Built in 1991/93 by BREL
- 465/1 - Built in 1993/94 by ABB
- 465/9 - Built in 1991/93 by Metro-Cammell - Outer-Suburban Layout
- Southeastern Class 466s
- 466/0 - Built in 1993/94 by Metro-Cammell
- Southeastern City Beam Class 707s
- 707 - Built in 2015/18 - DC - Five Car Units (Transferred from SWR)

This was the last day of Southern Class 455s before being withdrawn and most were even scrapped in the pairs shown in this video including the charter pair which was scrapped 5 days later.
All Class 455s shown in this video have since been scrapped at Newport:

Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

I went to London Charing Cross station once and I took the class 465/0 from Charing Cross to waterloo east just a short journey
My local station is bath spa and I love the class 800 that run through here to London

Thanks Adam. That 10-car 465 gave me a headache but at least I caught it! 😃 The decision to scrap the 455s will be forever remembered as one of the craziest decisions in the modern day especially since Southern now has serious overcrowding!

Welcome back Daniel and thanks for your kind comments. Hope your studying is going well, if you fancy a career in the railway it will be worth it, I promise! I had always planned to visit Charing Cross but had been put off by the staff who are known to be rather anti-spotter! I would love to visit Ashford and I am really disappointed that Eurostar are still refusing to serve it and Ebbsfleet. I will likely attempt it within the next few months but the views for passing trains aren't great. Hope this helps answer your questions 😃
@@StarlifeStudios I've actually got a spot on Network Rail now that ya mentioned it!- so yeah studys went well!- and yeah im aware that eurostar ain't serving ashford or ebsfleet💀- but i did hear they would start serving both stations once again in late 2022, so im hoping this month or in December!- so yeah thats why i asked about ashford😭- But Thanks for the reply!- and yw for the suggestion😁
Southeastern should have rest of the Class 707s transferred from South Western Railway so that they can run metro services to & from London Charing Cross and London Cannon Street to Dartford, Hayes, Orpington, Sevenoaks and Gravesend.

Good shot of the marauder. Shame about the minority of kids who got aggressive towards the BTP there.
I could have joined them on that platform but it became extremely busy once the 455s arrived and people began taking pictures. I made the best choice! Thanks for watching Matt 👍🏻
