Holly God bless me 🙌😍😇🇺🇸
I was KFC employee here's in Karachi Pakistan
To owner of channel: Are you family related to Artosis?
The owner is an excellent promoter of his restaurant. Thumbs up I have to visit!!!!!❤❤
After that 1st burger 🍔 I thought everything after would be a disappointment but I was wrong. That last place was so cool, like stepping back in time. Very enjoyable video, nicely done Jon & AK.
Love this episode so much. Second to the pizza episode. Keep em coming.
Remembering Ben...😢 You two getting around tasting delicious food...all the best for Christmas to You and Adriana, Jon.🎄
I would eat any one of the burgers, frankly. All day burger run... followed by a two day nap! Great video. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
wow that first burger looked amazing. if i ever get to go to new york, i want to try that one.
Very nice selection of delicious looking burgers ...will definitely consider some of them when visit NYC next November! Happy Holidays
Holy cow. I wanna hit ever burger on this list. Not long ago I was in Milwaukee and had my first butter burger at Solly's Grill. I had no idea we had them here.
ou!! that Coke float and butter burger at the diner look so good!
:)
John he really gets it. He really gets nyc.
Wow! I really enjoyed watching you n Ken check out these burgers. Now I have some new go to plans. Happy Holidays to you and the family.🎄👋🏽
Am new to the channel and really enjoyed this video. Love cheeseburgers. Would love to try the first place. Love the Korean twist on that burger and the sesame seed buns from the bakery looked really good. Thanks guys!! 😊😎
Every burger looked super deeeelicious.. Wallet light, 7th St would be my jam coz $11 minus a tip would do it. Nothing says Americana more than a luncheonette... My first thought goes to the Woolworth counter.
This is all beautiful and yummy food, to be enjoyed as much as possible. Costwise, homemade will serve more, of course.
Two extra thumbs up for those beautiful fries at the luncheonette, and the soda jerk. ❤❤❤😊
Merry Christmas bro, Ben, we miss you ❤
man, i recently moved to NY and your videos are pure gem for newcomers, keep doing that 💪
Thank for sharing. Rating burgers is harder than rating pizza especially on the Easy Coast. I grew up on Long Island where most people prefer traditional burgers that are simple like "All American" in Massapequa.
finally a place putting raw onions on burgers! looks so good
Action Kid is like your Lydia ☺️
hahahah if Lydia walked 10 miles a day
Oh yes! That butter burger requires an instant nap after you finish that adventure! Great content, as always!
*THEM LOOKED LIKE SOME GOOD BURGERS - MADE US HUNGRY - LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
I'm just back from a trip to NYC, and you HAVE to check out George Motz's Hamburger America. Best I've ever had.
It's called a 'Candy Store' - used to have many of them in NYC at almost every corner. They would sell Magazines / Newspapers / School Supplies / etc.. Plus great food and egg-creams at the counter. Yes growing up in the 60's was sort of awesome .
It’s called a bodega, not a “candy store” and they are still on every street.
7th st is just fine. If I wanted a no frills greasy burger on potato bun, i'd just go to White Manna, or a diner.
But for convenience, price, and simplicity, it's hard to beat.
So awesome Jon! Definitely have to check out 7th St burger! I lived on E83rd and Third for a bit, and grew up with family on the UES. been to the Lexington Candy Shop numerous times! Glad you enjoyed!
I wish you Happy Christmas, enjoy your holidays and Happy New year. Here Be Barr is one of my best yt channel!!! Greetings from Czech republic.
First Korean burger 🍔 looks much more edible. I'll try it.
I've been dreaming of the Nowon burgers ever since I had one! Kimchi burger is unlike anything I've ever had.
That one looked amazing from top to bottom. The look on both your faces showed how good it was.
likewise
Awesome sauce I’m going to try the ice cream Coca-Cola soda and the butter burger. No I’m hungry merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for all the awesome sauce videos.
Excelllent video jon, i love this type of series where u try hidden gems. Can u go try margherita pizza in jamaica ave
I ❤that you and AK are restaurant buddies. 👏
Looks delicious 😋
Love the heavily sesame'd bun with double stacked patty at Nowon and the fries at Lexington Luncheonette looked positively scrumptious! YUM😋
0:07 NoWon looks absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to trying that burger one day. #ThatFoodieLife
Review the Brooklyn Deli on 211 West 43rd St, it’s awful. Their pastrami roll/sandwich that the bring to your table looks nothing like it does on their menu. The place was empty when we went there, that was a massive red flag
I love eating yummy burgers.....
The Korean burger looks great, but for $21.00 it should come with fries. Thanks for reminding me about the Lexington candy shop. In comparing 7th Ave burgers and shake shat, I would talk about the quality of the meat. 7th Ave did not look so good, but it's only $6.50. Shake shat has a good quality meat and worth the $8.00.
100% agree $21 for burger with no fries..mental
This is NYC where things are very expensive..
I know since I live in NYC. It's still cheap not to include fries, which the restaurant can afford. @klins118 agrees with me.@@timt6860
George Motz Burger Diner -- please review :-)
We used to call a coke float a ‘brown cow’.
These str some great spots. Now i want a Coca Cola float 😎
Ask the owner if he drew comics before.
Great video. I’ve been to Lexington Candy, the place is so interesting and legendary, although I thought the food to be a little bland honestly. My favorite burger is either the one from Emmy squared, or the Nobody’s burger at nobody told me near Columbia. also, the burger at I think it’s called Jackson hole diner? The original is in Queens, but I went to the one on East 64th.
Nowon burger looks good. But no kimchi for me. Extra onions r needed!
Curiosita ! Dopo tuuti questa carne, formaggio salsine varie come siete messi con il colesterolo ?
Who's swinging the camera now for you ? Love your videos!
I got a referral from another TH-camr and he's been with me since Ben fell ill. He's really progressing well.
Its never come back , hold it
Thank you for your video. But please get rid of that annoying music. Merry Christmas 🎄 to all. 🤗👍
$21 is not bad for a burger like that definitely worth the money
The guy on the left ate it upside down. Totally different burger than the creator intended. I'd be a little frustrated to see someone do that if I made it.
Lexington Candy Shoppe is an absolute legend of a place.
Hi 👋 John
IMHO, the best burger in NYC is actually served at Sarge's, which is one of the last true NYC delis we still have in town. Shake Shack, Black Iron Burger, Whitman's... they're all great, but even for a jaded New Yorker like me, Sarge's burger beats them all. Every single item in their burgers, from the patty to the onions to the fries it comes with, is premium.
@sergioquirosv and my impression of Sarge’s was - the best pastrami sandwich 😂😂😢😊😅
🍔🍔🍔 The Korean Burger looks really good. I use to love Smokey burger on 44th Street. It is no longer open. The Lexington Ave place seems like a vintage retro diner.🥧☕🍔
Couple NYC places I'd recommend for burgers: Molly's Shebeen (don't know why but this Irish pub does excellent well pub burgers served with excellent fries or onion rings or a mix of both. They also have a good draft Guinness of course as well. For fancy burgers, I like Wollensky's Grill. It's my favorite steakhouse burger by a lot and pretty reasonable for the quality served with waffle fries.
Yeah NYC could have 100 videos on this topic.
$21 for a deluxe burger in NYC?? I frequently pay that in San Diego! I’m impressed!
@edvaira6891 Just curious where in San Diego?😊
You gotta try Cali Bun at 2314 36th Ave, Queens, NY 11106
I'm an idiot watching this hungry.
Because it's cheaper to live inside than an apartment?
Can we stop smashing burgers? Bring back the normal thick steakhouse burger.
if u havent already done so, would like u to review the Emmy Burger. thanks.
I'm sitting here hungry as f**k and this video comes up... 🍔🍔😨
Don't count out 5 napkin burger. They're also very good. Was sorry to see the 1 on east 14th Street close but still have 2 other locations. Back in the day the egg creams used to be served with a pretzel rod on the side
Tons of places in NYC still doing egg creams actually...
Remember Americans. Say please when ordering.
I remember seeing jae lee on munchies a few weeks ago.
Hmm, I thought the kimchi was going to throw off the flavors.
Great video! We are a food equipment service company, an advocate for the trade, always looking to showcase techs and ALSO equipment that restaurants are cooking on! Love to do a collaboration this year!! #MalachyCares
get the grass fed & cheddar all the way baby
Living in China my dream is to become American one day 🇺🇸
There can be no fare evasion when the mayor is telling people not to pay the fares so he can hopefully get all public transportation in NYC subsidized. ( a pipe dream at best and IMO just BS to tell the public as he dismantles NYC 1 dollar at a time) He has made bus routes in poor neighborhoods free to get them to hopefully vote democrat. He has told the head of the MTA to tell his employees to not worry about fare collection. Bus drivers tell me daily "don't pay." 75% of the people I see on the bus in the morning don't pay. BUT if you try to get on for free at a major transit hub he's telling police to ticket the "fare evaders" and hit them with $500 fines (the fine is supposed to be $100 ) This is being done to put people in situations they can't cover financially so the city confiscates things like cars to pay the "fines." The "problem" of fare evasion was a whole lot smaller before Adams and his predecessor DiBlassio took office. If the numbers you quote are recent they are exaggerated by manipulated circumstances created by these policies and can no way accurately represent the actual reality. People aren't fare evading if they are being told to not pay by the officials in charge. They aren't fare evading if there's a scam in place to ultimately separate the poor from their belongings.
I like the idea of the kimchi sauce, but I think I'd ask for the kimchi on the side.
I’m sorry, I don’t do impressions.
Action kid!!!!
How did you manage to have 3 big burgers consecutively the same day, just curious...
Didn't eat the rest of the day, 7th street wasn't huge. And it was spread out like 4-5 hours.
😢 only 12 minutes… on my toes about what’s next
$11.45 for a Coke float? WTAF?!?
How do you do a NYC burger video without Jackson Hole? DUDE!!! Let's go, right now...
I'm going to do a BK/Queens version of this and can come back for more Manhattan ones based on what responses I get here haha.
@@HereBeBarr Nice! Don’t forget Emoji Burger!
i wont pay that. maybe £7
Look at this guy immigrating here when he's 8 years old. Overcoming all the systems of oppression in america and becoming successful. I didn't know it was possible
america is one of the best country to become successful. I wish you could see other countries and compare them. Oppression is everywhere
@@mahkeme2401 The sarcasm flew right over your head.
@@puremichpaulethese days its very hard to separate sarcasm or satire from actual woke insanity.
@@asdasdasddgdgdfgdg I'll give you that 1
@@mahkeme2401hahahaha
I'm buying nowon burger with tots 2morrow
Need ur take on hamburger America
I don't think applying a slab of butter to a bun is comparable to a high-end steak house melting their meat in butter. The cost of butter is cheap and props should not be given for culinary laziness. (By the way, you'd think they'd at least spread the butter on the bun). You guys spent an extraordinary amount of time reviewing Lexington Candy Shop. Did they comp your food for this generously positive review? If so, you need to disclose that they had. If not, then you need to aspire to a higher culinary standard.
In the thumbnail he’s pointing to the burger because that’s the burger New Yorkers are obsessed with. And it’s in the video. The video will show you that the burger he’s pointing to is the one New Yorkers are obsessed with and it’s not a different burger but is the one that is being pointed to in the thumbnail and in the video
rest in peace manlapaz
these MrWhoseTheBoss style giant captions are super distracting
Smashing burgers ruins the juiciness and flavor.
Trump for 2024🎉
Why even make this vid. No feedback ever provided.. All the time.. This is the best burger.. Wth
Butter burger, butter burger with cheese, cheeseburger NO, I get my cheeseburgers without cheese too icky with the fat from the meat and the oilyness/fat from the cheese, I like mayo on my burger not reduced fat mayo but regular mayo, I guess that's fatty and oily but that's what I like, I love the burgers at 5 Napkin, and Black Tap very disappointed stood in line for an hour and a half for their hyped up milkshake, when you get through all the candy, cookies, sprinkles on top that you don't even really care for or want the milkshake was a big nothing and their burger also a big nothing
$21 stuff that
ActionKid eats the burger upside down.. shame.
I went to Nowon twice in 10 days, the dry aged steak burder is better than the legendary burger
I dislike action kid. I wish you wouldn’t have him in your videos. I couldn’t watch the last 2 cuz of it.
7th Street burger looks like someone stomped on it. I stay away from these type and much prefer a burger that has a bun that isn't smashed thinner than the patty. All others look pretty fantastic, however.
ACTION KID
curious why you add the very large and unnecessary subtitles? they are very distracting when trying to watch the video imo.
number one burger in NYC never going to have kimchi sauce on it, just sayin.
I do not care for the owners arrogance. He is younq, hopefully he will learn to be more humblenin time.
I don't think he was being arrogant, he was playing it up for the camera. Didn't strike me as arrogant at all off-camera. Just a showman :)
7th street burgers are just meh.
$ 21 .. NO THANKS
nowadays people sell you stuff with high price pretending they are all that ... I would rather cook myself a burger the way I like it
