Edit.... This is gonna be long lmao. But sitting here depressed af and having a few pints. Up until 3 weeks ago I had a year clean and sober. And just typing to get a few things out helps with processing some things. But if you wanna visit ? Bring a flak jacket lmao
First off, with a diverse aray of a million amazing joints in this hood , def worth a visit, you would be here a week. I live in the center of the city. Jamestown - Bloor/Sherbourne exit on Glen rd. Love it here. Until I witnessed a kid murdered, shot 6 times at 510pm... 20' behind me coming out the subway doors. April 8th (way way more to this, murders didn't stop there. Same guy killed another dude on the 10th around the corner. All random homie. (not that random, long story) You can't make this up, but they caught the guy at least on the Monday. Lost my job over it. And the guy I replaced was a gun runner, LOTS AND LOTS OF GUNS out of the work parking lot and sentenced to 5 years the day I was hired.....Ya think I'm kidding lmfao? All easy info to get. Insanity. I lose my job for witnessng a Murder but DM gets his job back after doing a year and a half (its Canada, he aint doing 5) I already have severe ptsd from seeing some bad stuff I won't get into, but it led to rehab and starting my life over with just my bike and my dog in the city. Would of been 2 bikes but wrecked my Ninja on the 401 and broke my knees April 2019. Last year I move here to start a new life and everythings great. Bike in storage (was rescued from a motel for me after I ended up in hospital tring to OD, by stangers in the bike community lets just say. and a touching story. no shit a long one)...was there 3 days with the keys in it. That's how much I cared about life That was last April 2021.
But I recovered. Life was going to be perfect again when I was supposed to go get her April 10th. Only ride I had in a year was on a friends 2018 Aprilla (Holy Fak) and my buddies RR1. The murder wrecked me dude. Everything about it is so f'd. So, I call in sick 4 days with a murder cold and got fired. April 19th a friend dragged me to a Leafs game to cheer me up. We beat Philly 4-1 and it was an awesome night. Until 11:10pm. At the same exit but on the subway platform below ground, Iwas attacked for sticking up for a homeless man 2 stops previous. They followed me on. At Yonge/Bloor1 platform threatning to shoot me, in front of 40 witnesses and cameras. I called them on it. But they follwed me on (this is on a million cameras) and when I got off was attacked. Then stabbed in the head twice. It was bad. Really bad. I was fighting for my life. With subway tracks 15' behind me. Beause of N/A and recovery I had sworn off violence. Was begging them to stop. (this is all on TTC cameras)
I was leaking but thought I got hit with a hammer. Then I defended myself. I knocked a guy out. Broke two fingers. They cut my lip and got in about 20 un ansewred punches.Major concussion. Face peppered but 20 stiches to close the stabsI got pics lol. Can't say to much, on here, because both are ongoing investigations. This is my real name. And my FB pic is my face and head after getting stabbed. Should be easy to find.
There is a ton to my story over the last three years. You got no clue. And I am more than willing to share it with you privately. It's fucking bad dude. But I rose from the ashes. And all I wanted was a nice place, my dog, my bike to work on, a good job and riding season.
And it went sideways. All this can be easily proven. Just not here for obvious reasons.
I unfortunatley need to sell my bike to pay my rent. It breaks my heart, butI am going to be evicted....
I can miss another season. Because being homeless will not happen for me again
I was hoping if maybe you could help in a small way.
I need to sell my bike. ASAP.
And the only reason I am typing to you was it became cold hard truth around noon when I got an eviction notice (beginning of)
And been watching your vid's and trying to calm down lol...

Loved the Osprey joke. That hangar was, for some strange reason, where I did my reserve duty out of in the late 90s after moving back after my active duty stint. I came from the east coast where they were crashing Osprey's damn near daily at Pax. Yeah, I did the small arms training & range crap for the National Guard, and they loved being trained by the Navy :D When I was in, they used Gary for that stuff, but O'Hare used to have the National Guard wing there.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been stuck at those tracks. I did 12 years and decided it was time to get out. I got a lot of push back from leadership saying I wouldn’t make it. Boy did I prove them wrong. Keep up the great vids!

Great episode! I work ARFF (Airport Rescue Firefighting) at Fort Campbell and got to get photos when the President flew in a few months ago. He didn't have the VH-3s but he had his VH-60N and his Ospreys. Also got a HMX-1 patch from one of the guys!

Not US but have just left the Air Force after 13 years. 100% agree with you that the military will do their best to scare you from leaving. It was a big decision to make the jump (if a little intimidating) but I can wholeheartedly say I made the right choice. Love your hood eats videos

Did 10 years as a UH-60 Blackhawk mechanic and crew-chief and flight instructor for non-rated crew members just recently got out to pursue a civilian career and boy it’s been so scary leading up to my ETS now I’m flourishing already in my civilian job doing something similar I love aviation and stunt riding the Army just wasn’t it for me anymore.

I got orders last year to go be a maintainer at HMX-1 (Marine 1). Unfortuanately when I did my request to go to the squadron I got denied due to a speeding ticket, and my orders got cancelled. Now I'm out here getting stuck on recruiting duty lol.
To touch on your comments about reenlisting...same thing happens in the Army. I got out at 10 years and got told the same stuff. But guys in the military reading this comment need to realize something..
Guys that are still in clawing and scratching to hang on for 20 years really can't tell you that you can't make it on the outside when they're still in because they really dont have a plan for civilian life.
So if you feel it's your time to cross back over to become a civilian, DO IT. But also at the same time have a plan.
The VA has gotten MUCH better since I got out in 2013 and there's a ton of programs when it comes to school/OJT/Technical Schools, so take full advantage

As an army paratrooper I have jumped out of 4 different aircraft, been on a C17 across the world and back, and even I never want to step foot on an osprey LMAO

Ospreys blew down my Raven drone during training in south Mississippi. The next day one was destroyed on the tarmac, thankfully nobody killed.
My sister is a flight attendant on Air Force One. She married the head chef. I have presidential M&M's with the seal on them lol

I was heading to Midway to catch a flight home back in '09 and Biden's motorcade was coming out the back of the airport... had to wait for what seemed like 100 vehicles to clear out before I was allowed to move. I don't think the airport location was necessarily a secret. :D
