This is called "soul" folks. This can't be taught. Auto-tune cannot emulate this. This artist was in another dimension when she recorded these vocals. This is a true female artist and deserves praise as long as the Earth rotates around the Sun. Top tier and nothing can come close to Pat's vocals.

In 1982 I was a freshman in HS. These early MTV videos meant EVERYTHING to us kids. The next day at school we’d talk about “see those camouflage drums in the Pat Benetar video yesterday?” or “see the live Rush video of Tom Sawyer?” Stuff of that nature. It was a wonderful time to grow up.

T the super 70s is number one bia little the 60s would have made it even tighter if not for the Vietnam War. The the 90s came in next and may have moved up more if they hadn't killed themselves off so quickly, the 80 was too much of a rip off of the SUPER 70S
      I blame video games
The 80 kids didn't put in the, blood, sweat and tears needed to become legendary but at least they had fun.

@@kenperkins7921 The 70's were a great decade for music 4 sure, but the 80's saw more than double the bands and total songs released. Don't get me wrong, the 70's were a great decade of music that I believe are the top 2 decades in music history. 👍

Interviews and photos of Pat and Neil Giraldo ... still so sweet on each other after 32 years of marriage, like teenagers in love. Inspiring, hopeful and refreshing!! They are what Neil refers to as two missing pieces that found each other. Aww! It kind of makes your eyes mist over; it is so uplifting to hear that!! Pat is a genuinely nice woman, a true sweetheart ... and he's the same way, he is just a great guy. They don't put on any superstar airs and egos. They are so down to earth and real. For them it's about love for each other and their family. Such a wonderful couple!!

Rock is rock with talented musicians who actually play instruments-rap is offensive to human beings(bust a move and a few others being the exception to the rule imao) and doesn't belong in the "rock hall of fame"-but usually lots of ?s can be answered with the simple notion that the cancer that is libtardia has infected another aspect of Americana

@@lindabergman3127 It's a scam. The problem with the public is that they are so often duped by these organizations that exist to promote themselves by nominating one person versus another. Pat doesn't need outer validation.
