The parry and hyper aggressive playstyle reminds me of how MGR:R handles the parries, to the point that the game doesn’t have a parry button, but instead pressing the attack button in time with an enemy attack executes a parry, so it incentivizes aggressive plays by making the parry basically one of your attacks.

Another interesting thing about the sound design and music I think motivates the player is that certain tracks like track 7 have vocals that only play when you reach A or S rank in battle, rewarding the player for being aggressive and motivating them to stay on beat The better you play the better the music becomes
