That knife is just *so* Microtech. Literally everything about it just screams their name at you. Autos aren’t something I go crazy for personally, but I still appreciate it for what it is.

I own a Microtech Hawk Auto & that bad boy kicks! The blade is very big & thick which makes the action very aggressive! I love it! It’s one of my edc’s. I’m thinking about buying A brachial in DLC with serrations!
This was a helpful video. I like the design and execution of this knife. It seems like a great auto, and fires strong like my Socom Elite auto. I do like the clips on Microtechs with the bill which is bend up. This makes it much easier to slide the clip over the edge of a pocket on pants made of thicker material. I will admit that I often have to remake 2 of the bends to allow the clip to go easily all the way down on thicker pants material.

What a beautiful launch button, and that sound is thick! Looks like it would have weighed more than the Ritter - wouldn't mind an auto Ritter with that kind of deployment. Good slicer, but I've not been a big fan of the persian-style curve, but that internal lanyard hole in the back spacer is nice! Wasn't designed for me, sorry Red Dragon Clan fam, but the review is still most appreciated!

Laser cuts are counterfeit features. I like that even though I buy at dealers and not on line. Because like to see the knife before I purchase it. I really like that design and when I heard it open. Oh yea hang on tight. It pops as hard as tough as the return on my combat troodon. Nice piece. My dealer has one.😊

Yes helps me forget lanyards exist. Which is great. Nothing against them. Just not my jam. I have enough bulky items to tote around during my day. Why add to it?
I have no use for the decorative braided lanyards so popular these days, but a simple loop that slips over your wrist is useful in situations where you could drop and lose your knife, like around water.
I'm not sitting on the couch watching this with auto in hand but I am listening at work with a TR-3 in my pocket 😂

I was shocked when I found out there was no washers in my stitch auto but it works great and is smooth. If anything theres alot more surface contact from blade to handle so its pretty cool
Ohh and with the clip one thing you don't hear about alot from lefty's is yea we cant swap the clip but we rarely ever deal with hotspots from clips. We get the njce grippy side in hand and the clip falls right between my fingers
I like it but, the blade to handle ratio is a little off looking to me. Great video brother 👍
What's the backspacer made out of?
I've been wondering before but especially with your reaction in this one, whats keeping you from just also showing grams and millimeters? its literally the press of a button and a tapemeasure with both on it and you'd serve a worldwide viewer base instead of limiting that information to a handful of places.
i really aint tryin get all sciency here but kinetic energy (KE) is equal to 1/2MV^2. which I think means the snappiness is dependent more of velocity and not the mass of the blade. Being the lighter blade takes less energy to move, it would have greater velocity (given the same spring is used in the stitch) and therefore more KE and a snappier action. That or the pivot is just slightly tighter on the stitch ahha.

So many things about Microtech bother me, I’ve just decided I’m gonna get an ultratech and just wash my hands of them altogether lol. I know they make good stuff it’s just… ugh they’re too over the top for me lol.
