Yeah, I've heard the fans demanded that Goku should stay the main character and it was then changed. That it actually meant to be Gohan to take over. But we wouldn't have had Vegito if it ended here. That being said, they did Gohan incredibly dirty after the Buu saga.
@@BJT14 I don't remember exactly what happened, but I think Toriyama decided that Gohan actually wouldn't want to seek strength like Goku would, and set everything up for Goku to save the day again. All of the main Z fighters are actually short by western standards. You'd think Gohan is at least 6 feet because he's as tall or taller than most people around him but Goku and Gohan are 5'9. Vegeta is 5'4. Super Buu is exactly 8 feet tall so he'd dwarf anyone. He's even taller than Piccolo who is a huge 7'5.
This is one of my favorite episodes in the whole series - but can’t help but laugh as to how turned on Piccolo sounds when he says “you’re just so…confident 😍”
In the Japanese version, Gohan says something very different from "hey nice day" at the end of this episode. Which makes Piccolo and the boy's reactions more understandable
There's also when Gohan is walking towards Buu he has an other epic line in VO. "Doushita ? Konai no ka? Naraba kochi kara ikuzo!" Which means "Well then? You don't come ? Then I'll do!" And kick in the stomach. Giving the chills every time I see it😊
Dude you have no idea how long I have been waiting for this episode Now all we need is * vegeta comes back * buuhan * vegito * kid buu appearance * buy throws hands with everyone in heaven
Do you know why Picollo, Trunks, and Goten looked shocked after Gohan tells Buu "Nice day"? In the original japanese version from the early 90s, Gohan says to Buu, "You r*tard."
Yeah Piccolo only ever saw Gohan's power as a result of rage, it wasn't just there with confidence. This is such an epic fight, he should've been the victor as was intended. He's way stronger than Gotenks and max power Goku, but Vegito is a crazy fusion.
Gohan’s Ultimate/Mystic form surpasses it. Neither Goku or Gotenks at SSJ3 could defeat Super Buu. Gotenks was getting close, but Buu’s ability to constantly generate would eventually not be enough for SSJ3 to cut it.
Gohans smarts make him the best fighter he just doesnt have that drive to fight as his main thought but if he did then hed be the strongest i do love those glimpses of saiyan blood gohan in super when hes in it

For Gohan, the bigger they are, the more targets to punch... 13:48 - (Super Vegeta) _"Here, I know you're confused, so why don't I make it easier for you. My back's turned. How's that?"_
Chills thrugh entire episode! Piccolo willing to throw his life to buy as much time as he can for the fusion! New enemy happening to be stormin' Gohan! Epic THAME song!!! and one of the most epic quotes in anime history! OMG! 💯

Imagining her watching all those new transformations, the bond between Goku and Beerus/Whis and the culmination of it all in the Tournament of Power is awesome as it is!
That's pretty homo man..
Still one of my favorite episodes.
When Gohan gets serious OR cocky, he's terrifying😂
In the Japanese version, Gohan says something very different from "hey nice day" at the end of this episode. Which makes Piccolo and the boy's reactions more understandable
Yes. He tells " Kochi da. Usunoro." Which means "Over here. You little slug" So epic lines.
There's also when Gohan is walking towards Buu he has an other epic line in VO. "Doushita ? Konai no ka? Naraba kochi kara ikuzo!" Which means "Well then? You don't come ? Then I'll do!" And kick in the stomach. Giving the chills every time I see it😊
This was so amazing and I'm just saddened by how it plays out again. We still need to put more respect on Gohan's name.
When all hope seemed lost, with Gotenks' time limit, Gohan shows up just in time to save his little brother from the nearly invincible Buu!
sadly Gohan never finishes his fights fast enough.
Anyone else remember the memes made from this still 18:01 ?
“I ate the last Twinkie” comes to mind rent-free from time to time.
I remember the memes at 13:00 "Gohan's fart on Buu" lmao
No one’s cooler to me then future trunks but this gohan is badass #3
Super Buu’s voice is way creepier in the original Funimation Dub
Dude you have no idea how long I have been waiting for this episode
Now all we need is
* vegeta comes back
* buuhan
* vegito
* kid buu appearance
* buy throws hands with everyone in heaven
🐢 The infamous Turtle Club scene in the film The Master Of Disguise was filmed during 911 ✈️
Do you know why Picollo, Trunks, and Goten looked shocked after Gohan tells Buu "Nice day"? In the original japanese version from the early 90s, Gohan says to Buu, "You r*tard."
Yeah Piccolo only ever saw Gohan's power as a result of rage, it wasn't just there with confidence. This is such an epic fight, he should've been the victor as was intended. He's way stronger than Gotenks and max power Goku, but Vegito is a crazy fusion.
If I'm not mistaking, In this form, Gohan's power rivals that of a Super Saiyan level 3.
Gohan’s Ultimate/Mystic form surpasses it. Neither Goku or Gotenks at SSJ3 could defeat Super Buu. Gotenks was getting close, but Buu’s ability to constantly generate would eventually not be enough for SSJ3 to cut it.
In terms of power, yes. It's also much more efficient at using energy than SSJ3
'Ultimate Gohan vs SSJ3 Goku' would be like 'SSJ2 Gohan vs Cell jr'
It’s amazing how smart Buu is here very amazing video guys ❤️❤️❤️
Gohans smarts make him the best fighter he just doesnt have that drive to fight as his main thought but if he did then hed be the strongest i do love those glimpses of saiyan blood gohan in super when hes in it
Gohan calls buu a retárd at the end of the episode in the Japanese version
Could you pretty please make a super short clip/video or Maddison's reaction to the original scene/moment. Sure, the "Hey, nice day" is still kinda funny in it's own way, but I wanna see her reaction to the original where he straight up calls Super Buu a r******d LMAO
(Also, I know movies are patreon exclusive, but any chance Fusion Reborn & Wrath of The Dragon could be made into exceptions :) )
Gohan: pssst Hey behind You.. .
Hi nice Day😈
Madison 😩😩😩💦
I really thought one of you would have addressed Gohans comment to Buu. 🤦🏻🤷🏻😁 20:17
We don't talk about what Gohan said in the subbed version on 18:46
Goku and gohan are actually 5’9 to 5’10
You guys should see this episode version from dragonball kai 2014 in japan dub. It's the remastered version of the original, and the music when gohan enter the battlefield is crazy amazing, and the japan line between gohan and buu is awesome.
Hey Guys Did yall know originally in the Japanese Dub When Gohan was behind Buu he called him something Really Really Bad He Originally called Him a R****d That's Why Piccolo Trunks and Goten Where Shocked AF
Yeah, Buu is taller than Gohan. And then you remember that Cell was also taller _and bigger_ than Gohan, and we all know how that turned out.
OMG! 💯
Such a badass episode, Love Gohans lines.
No matter how many times they punch kick or blast Buu he regenerates
That's the same way Goku came to fight freezea
gohan is for sure the strongest character here
Gohan got the audience that Gotenks wanted
It's too bad that vegeta never got to see ultimate Gohan I think he would have been very proud to see how far he's come.
Compared to when he fought against the Dabura during the beginning of the Buu arc when Vegeta was so angry and pissed off.
I also loved the Goku Super Saiyan theme when Gohan is landing his punches Buu.
Vegeta Got To See Kid Buu’s FOOT !😂😂
The height of the saga, only to be undone in the most dramatic fashion . . . If Gohan was at least part of the team that finished Buu, it would feel less like such a massive cop-out. I say this being an enormous fan of Buutenks, ha.
