    Randy, what table do I need to be in to keep the warm up enrichment only at idle (0% throttle), after warm up my exhaust note goes to blah, and looses that crispness.. is it he VE tables? THANK YOU for all this knowledge!

    Randy, I have a stock '14 R/T w/6 speed. I followed your instructions and this stock cam has a slight "lope" to it now. 😀 I know it's not the same as an aftermarket cam but I now know what to do to make my upcoming Scoggin-Dickey Stage 2 cam have that "lumpy" sound. I logged the first start and drive and, sure enough, the car comes to a near-stop/stop and the timing starts swinging. Thanks for the videos. I've learned a lot from them.

    I have a 2015 5.7L Challenger with a 2.9L whipple, will doing this hurt my engine?

    I don’t have the airflow tab or proportional p/n adjustments on hp editor. Did they move this?

    So i tried this on my stock 14 5.7 challenger and it seems to work but I got a cel right after for random misfire? any thoughts.

      Under engine diagnostics you need to raise missfire rpm

    Thank for the vid!! I tried those settings and my car has the choppy idle but only when it’s in drive and idling... in park sitting it doesn’t chop at all. Is that what it’s supposed to do when changing the proportional P/N table? I figured it would affect only park/neutral. This is on a 2006 Chrysler 300srt8 with a mild cam 218/212 113lsa, that doesn’t lope on its own(no overlap like you said).

      I’d have to look at my screen to figure out which table you have to change to make it do it more

    I have a early 5.7 (05) with a cam swap and manual trans. As I was following along I noticed my proportional P/N table is different then yours. Mine has rpm error as the rows and nothing as columns. That being said I am not sure how to set the values to allow timing swing. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

    I tried what you said, but it trys the chop but it just bounces up and down why would it do that? Also mine is fully built 392 stroker and stage 2 comp cam any ideas?

    • @kickblake
      @kickblake 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's what the chop is, it's a consistent bounce in idle rpm.

  • @Clutched392

    on the idle torque spark proportional P/N table, how much spark on both ends is too much? I set mine to 44.99 and -44.99 on my 392 with a big cam

    • @Recklessmotorsports
      @Recklessmotorsports  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess I’ve never run into too much, you don’t need a lot on the outside. It’s the inside that has the most effect

      @@Recklessmotorsports what do you mean?

    • @Recklessmotorsports
      @Recklessmotorsports  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The table has zero on the inside and negative on one side and positive on the other. The farthest extents of the table don’t matter as much it’s the inside numbers that do

    • @Clutched392
      @Clutched392 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Recklessmotorsports oh right. every value is -45/45, I was just making sure that if I decided to do something crazy like -64/64 that it wouldn't blow up the car lol

    • @Recklessmotorsports
      @Recklessmotorsports  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it shouldn’t Be an issue and you also should need to go all the way that mush to get it to do that either. Your minimum spark table sets the spark limits so it’s not swinging enohhh probably because minimum spark is set to high

    When I do this at idle I don't get a chop. Only on drive and reverse I get a nice chop. Also, I get a P0300 can I turn this off or prevent it or just the nature of it?
