Funny same thing is happening to me righ to now. 330k miles, runs great, exhaust gad in the coolant. 10k mile oil changes with nothing but t6. Debating on doing the headgaskets or getting a rebuild done.
Gen 3 are 1999 to 2002 you sir are tuning a gen 4 2003 to 2007
Correction. 1: the recall for egr was due to the cooler cracking. 2: the flashing recall tune was due to lagging but not for crank issue or bearing issue it was due to safety in northern/ colder weather countries where you lose throttle response or acceleration due to engine being in warm up tune, the flash corrected that which added more fuel to warm up the engine faster therefore eliminating the turbo lag issue. 3: the engine oil was change due to 5w30 euro oil not having as better of a soot accumulating properties than the rotella 5w40, which the ecodiesel intakes a lot of soot due the egr system. As a Stellantis master tech the engineers had figured out that lack of maintenance or should i say following manufacturer maintenance interval is the main cause of ecodiesel bearing failures caused by oil contaminated with excessive soot which then acts like micro sand in your engine oil. If you’re following 10k miles interval don’t! cut that in half! 5k miles oil change intervals for engines with egr system, for deleted engines you can run longer as the main cause (soot) from egr has been eliminated.
Randy, what table do I need to be in to keep the warm up enrichment only at idle (0% throttle), after warm up my exhaust note goes to blah, and looses that crispness.. is it he VE tables? THANK YOU for all this knowledge!

Hello. I’ve watched almost all your videos. They’re very engaging and interesting. I want to learn tuning with HP Tuners. Currently, I’m working on tuning my Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. I’ve replaced the intake manifold and also installed injectors from the 6.4 Hemi engine. I wanted to ask you how to adjust the injectors, as I'm having trouble with it. I’ve followed your videos before and had success, but I can’t seem to find anything about injector adjustments and settings. Everything else is working well. I wanted to do it myself, and I’ve made some progress-the engine starts now, but it still runs a bit rough. Could you help me with adjusting the injectors?

Hi brother . I have little problem . I install my 2012 5.7 manifold intake from 6.4 and injectors and from cam motion titan 1 cam . Now I can not tune , because I’m not professional. My car start but not working correct , rpm every time going up and down , and car shaking . You can help me please . Thank you

Do not use this guy. I just dropped off a jeep built by him a few months ago. 100 miles on it. It's leaking oil. The trans isn't communicating with the pcm. Teabag has completely ghosted my friend. He almost only communicates by text.

I got a 2015 Ram Ecodiesel with 263,000kms on it. Amsoiled since Dodge changed the oil recommendations to 5W40. I also changed all the gear fluids to Amsoil as soon as I could. The only engine issues I had was the gummed up intake. I changed that at 234,000kms. I just added a catch can at 263,000kms. I had one on my 1998 Dakota 5.2L Magnum so I saw how they worked.

Technically yes, but anytime you change the airflow of the engine this may need to be adjusted

Hey brotha what's the difference you mention between the hum and drone? This is potentially The one thing holding me back from the exhaust on my 2018 since i drive a lot between Wyoming and Colorado.
Drone is a frequency that resonates at the same frequency of the car causing headaches. Hum is just a loud exhaust

I live in south Texas so we are un bothered by dot and police unless you’re hot shotting. Even then they just look at saftey. On my 13 2500 I have a mm3 rather stick with the old then a cloud server I feel can get shut down like ez lynk. Anyways mm3 just sent me a new monitor as a thief broke in my damn truck and he destroyed the monitor and the sd card. Unfortunately the laptop which had my tunes was stolen too. Do you know anyone I can still get tunes from for the mm3? I will say this my truck “ IS FOR OFF-ROAD USE AND FARM USE ONLY” I’m struggling to find a tuner all I can find is off dyno diesels in Alberta Canada and not much is known about the copper custom tune package. I’m just looking for reliability, hauling, and good trans tuning to get the line pressure up.
Do you know anyone ? Unfortunately lots of shops aren’t doing it anymore due to the epa. As I state before and have told them it’s for off-road use only < 😅

Brooooo I gotta disagree I’m sorry. Maybe for people who can’t drive for shit😂 but I just got a Hyundai Azera v6 model and I’ve drove manuals forever. I’ll tell you driving anywhere with the manual mode I get double my gas mileage my car doesn’t shift 3 different gears 3 different times while driving up a hill. Maybe I’m experienced sure, but I get what you’re saying no hate at all just make it clear for uneducated drivers not for everyone
He did say that the truck was deleted EGR crap going into the intake Making sure that changing your oil religiously maintenance is a key with these motors. Some people just don’t get it. They trash every car they drive and then cry about it deleting the EGR is a huge fact on how long this engine will last.

Random ve question. I'm a newbie and thought i was pretty close to done with SD tuning and ve tables. Now I'm spun around after watching more videos on spark and I'm questioning if I tuned ve probably. I tuned ve with maf disabled and used afr to dial in ve table. But I wasn't making adjustments to match command afr I was making adjustments to put the afr where I thought it should be such as leaner at idle and cruise and richer 12.5-13.5 under load and wot. Then a light bulb went off and I'm now wondering if I should be matching command afr with actual with my ve adjustments and then adjusting pe tables for additional fueling during heavy load scenarios. Am I right or wrong with this?
Ve table has to only be adjusted based on 14.7 to one there are separate areas that control idle extra fuel and wot fuel
@ I appreciate it. I watched a few videos trying to find an answer to something I’m stumped with in my tune and started questioning myself. Coming from carburetors and sbc I just knew where the afr needed to be and adjusted accordingly. Keep trying to break out of that mindset with tuning. VE should be tuned to match command afr or 14.7 as much as possible and PE steps it up for wot. I actually have my idle around 16.5 and anything under 2400 rpm around 15.2 but one I start getting up to interstate speeds where I’m at heavier loads for prolonged periods of time I went to the richer side around 14.3-14.5. So far I am extremely happy with fuel efficiency. I put a ss2 cam in my 5.3 avalanche along with a 2600 stall. The truck is better than it ever was now. I just can’t get it to break tires loose which is why I was questioning all of my tuning efforts. In the channels it’s shows traction control “on” but I can’t find a way to disable it.

Update. dropped valve seat caused the issue.
