I moved where I live now 43 years ago and there used to be a train that ran through my clear at the back of my yard.. it went up in the Michigan and down into Notre Dame and it moved lumber and coal. And when the abandoned the line now it's a walking or running trail that goes up in the Michigan and down into South bend in Mishawaka.. and there are plenty of those insulators laying around some of them are kind of like glass and see through the others are porcelain and brown..
It's a racoon party house judging by all those turds in the bathroom sink. Lotsa cool old stuff in there. You left a comment in J&E Adventures latest post earlier, that's how I found this. Sub #293 says hello from Baltimore County Maryland. I may not watch everything you've got but I sure love the abandoned. 👍🤠
Intriguing, thought-provoking, painful, and several emotions in between! It breaks my old heart to see those stunning antique furnishings and that glorious old radio/phonograph just rotting away when someone could restore and appreciate them for years to come. And wow, "Anita Bryant," haven't heard her name in years! She used to protest against normalizing homosexuality from a Christian perspective. She is still alive and living in Florida. *(EDIT: **23:17** That Chase & Sanborn Coffee tin reminded me of the old radio shows I used to listen to! The Chase and Sanborn Hour was the umbrella title for a series of American comedy and variety radio shows sponsored by Standard Brands' Chase and Sanborn Coffee, usually airing Sundays on NBC from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. from 1929 to 1948.)*
12 people may have rummaged around in there and taking stuff.. the couches not that they renew but they weren't 30 or 40 years old.. they have cup holders so that was probably from the last people but there was a lot of stuff that was really old.. pretty scary when you're exploring by yourself let me tell you... You hear all kinds of sounds.. this is on a dirt road just passed a kind of a nature preserve swamp

It's cool seeing stuff like that . We had tons of that stuff in the barn growing up. Especially the glass insulators
