😮 now in the buildings of the north the basement which is the old department store the guy that worked with me and I worked with him and he is still there now as he is younger... He said he did see something in the basement and he got the hell out of there.. there is no wind in the basement at all.. There was a rope hanging down, and the rope started to move up at a 45° angle and that scared the crap out of him....

Im a tire spoon guy too. Im in Vietnam trying to find spoons and tool to remove valve core. All my tools in the US do me no good here. I miss them.

Check to see if the disc with no holes is magnetic (steel). Your other one might be Stainless steel and slightly magnetic but if you wanted to stop better the steel one will be your best bet. Hopefully it's within tolerance and can be used

You wouldnt happen to still have the tins from this bike would you ? And willing to part with them. Ive been lookin for a set for awhile. My 98'is beggin for some fenders
in storage so someday I or my son can put it back to original if he wants.. I've changed the configurations quite a few times and quite a few colors.. but this one was so original I kept everything and just removed it for later use.. but thank you for watching and asking..

I would say like marketplace. eBay is going to be taking a big chunk of the I would say marketplace. eBay is going to be taking a chunk of the money .. and there's other sites that do not charge... I would also look into several of the Facebook motorcycle selling sites not just marketplace come to mind...
One thing I will say that 85 transmission bastard transmission a friend of mine had one it's got metric parts in it it's got SAE parts.. not to say it's bad but it can get confusing....

Well the Jim's pump is for 93 and up.. as I think I'm coming to understand and of course the stock pump fits on the 93 also but that's the one that scored.. so he has to hunt for an older pump shovel head or up to 1992 .. here's my email address.. exiter17@gmail.com

000 or finer steel wool should take the rust off of those spokes. It will probably be a pain in the ass,but it'll work.

I would make sure you know what the motor is first, before moving forward.

Moe, I suggested getting the proper oil pump for that motor previously. Don't listen to anyone else, please trust me. I've been down this road before. Don't google anything or listen to what people say "online".

I have an older (1990s) S&S shovelhead with an S&S oil pump. The oil pump doesn't say S&S on it anywhere. It could be an older S&S pump.
Found it is a Jim's ..

Sorry your luck is running like mine . It could be worse . I just ordered a Cam ,Cam Cover, Cam Bearing and a shim pack the Bushing welded to my cam but my Bottom end is fine I did run out and did a video of the mess I have going on .

Don't really know I guess it's up to the guy that owns it.. he's about the age of my son and he tends to like collect a lot of stuff.. I tried to explain to him you know he needs to actually put money back for the future he ain't getting any younger.. often falls on deaf ears

Thank you yes it's quite the puzzle and that oil pump I found out was it Jim's unfortunately it doesn't fit that early model 😮
@@MoeLarrycurly1 I'd get the part number for that specific year and go with an oem one
Pull the adjustable pushrods and pull the cam cover to check condition of lifters and cam. If you could do a compression check that would be great. That engine looks pretty worn and used. I wouldn't use it , I would use the old engine. That oil pump looks like a ultima pump.
Wow looks used up but like. Jake said compression check, look in side piston cyl walls
And that makes all great sense. Yeah it's up to the owner I mean I just like tinkering around but I try and hit him in the right direction.. that oil pump after I finally took it all apart and checked it it would work great if it actually would fit it's a jims oil pump But it has the normal 6.4/20 bolt holes however the engine itself has five and 1 .5 1/6 hole in the case to mount the oil pump.. the larger hole is in the upper right looking at the back of the motor where the oil pump would mount. . so you got five normal size holes quarters.. and one larger one.. now this is a bottom breather case...
