- Designed and built by Luke Powell, launched in 2012 for the present owners. Freja was the eighth cutter built by Luke. She was designed from the beginning as a private yacht, not for charter, and has been meticulously maintained by her diligent owners ever since.
Each winter the boat is stripped down and fully covered, every spring she is painted, varnished and cleaned, machinery and rigging serviced and the boat generally kept up to an exacting standard.
Since she was launched, Freja has sailed around 25,000Nm, much of it with just the husband and wife owners aboard. She has proved to be an easily handled boat and is particularly fast in light airs. The owners have pushed the boat and know her ways extremely well, they have much knowledge about the yacht which will be passed on as much as possible to her new owners. She is a joy to sail, handles heavy weather with ease and has been a very safe and comfortable cruising boat.

She is currently berthed in Sweden but the owners would sale her back to the UK for a new owner. If brought back to the UK by the current owners there will be no need to pay VAT upon arrival. If sold to an EU buyer VAT will not be charged on the sale price.

What a little beauty. One of the best things about sailing these old boats is that the harbour master always gives you the best berth, especially in France.

If I was younger and had the money, I would not think twice about advertising for a cabin boy and then buying owning, living and sailing on such a wonderful piece of British maritime heritage.

Very beautiful inside. I like sailboats with the chart table facing out into the main aisle. You never seam to get enough seating space when faced forward. Just need to have a way to anchor yourself in when underway.

It might be a good idea to start with a full profile and 360 degree drone shot of the boat.
Stunningly beautiful, but the maintenance hours and cost must equate to thousands of $ a month. 9:39 The wooden triangle holder is a really nice touch, exemplifies the attention to detail, just like the rebate on the stanchions that you pointed out earlier, that was really lovely. Perfect live-aboard too (other than no shower), at 250k Euros, cheaper than an apartment anywhere!!

Apparently, it was designed and sized for the owner couple to sail it themselves - so, 2.
There's likely a formula for figuring that....yet with one small fridge, one large bed..My guess would be very few. Then there are times hauled out & ports of call when duties may be addressed.
Where is the shower? 😂😂😂
