MF135 6 Speed Restoration #52 Fitting the Mainshaft

Massey Ferguson 135 gearbox assembly. In this video I fit the main shaft to the 6 speed gearbox.

Just a suggestion for whoever might do this in the future - use an airhammer on the inner race to install the front bearing on the main shaft.

That is sliding gear transmission a very old design.

Yes no syncromesh with these old tractors.
