A very magnificent work done by this Spanish Pink Tones Group to PF classic songs. The transition from one song to the next is so smooth. Look at the audience, they are so discipline, no clapping, no whistling, no shouting. We should not compare their rendition to the original, it's their own way of rendering PF songs to their own perfection in which they were able to do it beautifully. Kudos to the beautiful back-up vocal ladies. Angela Cervantes rendition of Great Gig & Atom Heart are soooo good, done it gracefully without breaking up at high notes. The location is very nice & fitting. CONGRATULATION ON YOUR AMAZING WORK ! ! ! !

When I see someone trying to cover Gilmour they always exaggerated in the distortion, with a guitar much heavier than he would use. It's the first time I see approaching his softness. Congratulations!

Pink Tones have done a fantastic job in interpreting Pink Floyd songs in their own special way. The selections & transitions of songs are so smooth, When Alvaro Espinosa sang the Celestial Voices at 42:52, it was likethe original David Gilmour doing it Pompeii. Kudos also to the disciplined crowd (no shouting, no clapping only at the beginning & end). The back-up vocal ladies are beautiful, talented especially Angela Cervantes who sang the Great Gig & Atom Heart flawlessly. Her voice transition from low to high pitch without breaking, by far to me was the best tribute to these 2 classic songs. Job Well Done Pink Tones
I am late to this party. I am really impressed. I've been a Floyd fan all of my life and this is the first time I've heard a group play Floyds music properly. It was great to see and hear them warm up as they went through the concert. I would pay to see them perform. Really well done guys, you have reignited my desire to keep playing floyd on my guitar! Unbelievable vocals for great gig in the sky..mind blown!!
Pink Tones, I'm glad I found this. Everything about it is impressive, and wonderful. Everything. "Atom Heart Mother" was particularly enjoyable, and you nailed it! As for the haters, who are clearly too ignorant to understand just how much energy and work went into making this, let's see something, anything, you've ever done and given to the world that's worthy of anyone's attention. In the meantime, STFU and go away. These people put on an outstanding performance of some complex music that is challenging to play, and it's not even in their native language!

All the details on the arrangements of the instruments, the vocals and those drones shots are in a explicitly very professional standard. It is pretty noticeable how much of hard work was necessary to make this project become something so special as it is now that is already done. I was 16 when Live at Pompeii came out, and it changed my life. It wasn't me who was mad... It was all of YOU! I still remember finding it again on VHS in the early 90s. I hadn't seen it in around 20 years, and it was magical to think it even survived all this time. Finding this Pink Tones tribute lifted my heart. There are still people like me in the new generations. Thank you & God Bless!

This is beyond excellent. I've been a Floyd fan from the first time they recorded. I've played music, recorded music, taught music and studied music, so I think I know a thing or two about music. I firmly believe that the performance here is one of the best, if not the best covers concert, arrangement and interpretation I've ever heard. Added to this was the way you have done the visuals. From the video to the incredible girls, extras and performers, this concert should be a lesson for any up and coming musician. Irrespective of the genre, it stands out alone and is a remarkable feat that could be used in many curriculums. Who is the remarkable woman singing the solo in Great Gig in the Sky and Atom Heart Mother? She is spectacular. To say this is well done is an understatement, and too simplistic in the extreme. To be quite honest, I am not entirely sure whether the rendition is actually lip/instrumentally synced as it is too eerily similar to the original version. Also...how would the members of the band feel? I would surmise that Roger Waters would not like that especially with how he feels towards David Gilmore.
Recommended after 6 years, WTH? Extreme props for pulling off a mammoth project such as this - David, Roger, Richard, Nick and yes…even Sid, would be proud. Bien hecho mis amigos! 🙌👏❤️

this is absolutely stunning. words can't describe it. 13k views, seriously? what the hell is wrong with the world?! that beautiful woman completely nailed it on 'The Great Gig in the Sky' and 'Atom Heart Mother'. absolutely wonderful. that must have been the best cover version ever of AHM. what a pity the only song from Pompeii you guys didn't perform was 'Careful with that Axe, Eugene', precisely my all-time favourite song, hahaha. I'd love to see that good-looking Billie Joe Armstrong lookalike guy screaming his lungs out, hahaha. also, I'm SO, so glad that you guys didn't put on any songs from The Wall on, though I missed something from Animals (my fav one). I know it is a more aggressive album, but I think the album version of 'Dogs', for instance, would have fitted. but that's just me being annoyingly demanding, ignore it. have you guys released this on DVD or something? I'd love to put this on my player and bother my neighbours a little bit. THAT is music being experienced, lived, and breathed. believe me: this must be the greatest thing I have watched on youtube this year so far, and even might be the greatest thing I've EVER watched on youtube. the scenery, the production, the shooting, the mixing, the sound, the feelings, the shivers down my spine... everything was thought-out in its ins and outs. you guys clearly put your hearts into and have done justice to it, ESPECIALLY the keys guy, that completely represented my favourite musician of all time. I couldn't see that greatness coming. I'd love to have been part of that fortunate crowd. it is 03:00 in the morning now, I'm not sleepy and this has turned out to be an unexpectedly amazing way to spend my night. The playing during this concert is fantastic. That is where all the good things needed to be said about this performance begins. The performance is subtle at times and always dramatic.The vocals during "Great Gig"were outstanding, exceeded by the vocals during AHM...absolutely stunning !!! The cinematography, the drone footage, the video editing is magical. The musical direction, arrangements and recording of the vocals and instruments, the final mix of it all is perfect ! There is so much to see and hear during this performance it will require multiple views. Bravo to whomever conceived this extravaganza !! Best thing I've seen on the internet in a very long time !
@ sunny day I think subtle is the wrong term. If it’s used in obscure subtle differences in sound. Surly that depends on how good your sound system is. As the guys played note for note. How pinkfloyd wrote it. Which is not subtle in any sense
Ok. The singing on The great gig in the sky was as good, if not better than I have ever heard live from Pink Floyd themselves, apart from the album version with Clare Torry herself. Unbelievable.
Have been listening to this PINK TONE concert for a number of times & never get bored or tired. The selected PINK FLOYD songs just flowed smoothly like water. Love much Angela Cervantes rendering The Great Gig & Atom Heart effortlessly. All the Musicians were great & did their part ALL OUT. Pink Tones are great fan of Pink Floyd & this is their TRIBUTE, their own particular way to render PINK FLOYD MUSICS. Love also the crowd for being quite & discipline throughout the concert as requested. OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE ! ! ! ! from the Philippines . . .
voices are not exact match, but the rest is but perfect! and that girl on the leftmost.... She has a so canonically (stereotypically?) Spaniard look. And then she sings that canonycal English rock. It was both so right and wrong, so both endearing and funny... Hard to express. That mindsplitting both "is" and "is not" at the same time....

I stumbled on this a couple days ago and have watched it twice since then. What a fantastic job these guys did. What I couldn't figure out was the dismal crowd watching. I wished I'd been there. Thanks for sharing this, it was great! Who in heaven's name gave it the thumbs down? doesn't make sense to me

In all my years of listening to music on TH-cam, I have never been inspired to leave a comment... until now. I have never heard of the Pink Tones before today, but I stumbled across this video while listening to music on my day off... and I must say, this entire performance is absolutely amazing. What a fantastic job by all of the musicians and singers who participated in this live production. The woman doing the wailing vocals on "The Great Gig in the Sky" is just as good as Clare Torry's improvisational vocals on the original version. My only critique... the drums and percussion were noticeably shallow, and needed to be a tad louder in the mix. As for the individuals who have the gall to "thumbs-down" this performance, there's only one reason... talent envy.
I've been coming back to this great performance dozens of times over the years. Never fails to amaze me how much love and hard work went into this. Would love to have this on DVD or see in real life
Absolutely Stunning! I came across this performance by pure accident. I was looking for Live in Pompeii, which Floyd had removed under Copyright Infringement. Well, this is now my "Go To" when I need to get my "Fix!"
I was there since soundcheck started several hours before the show , It was so special , an authentic privilege , one of the most pure and finest performance from a cover band. Amazing set list , unique atmosphere. It wasn't pompeii, but almost...... Alvaro was better than ever.

Sono quasi 50 anni che ascolto i Pink Floyd ho assistito e anche visionato tanti concerti di cover quindi credo di poter esprimere un giudizio in merito alla vostra performance e sento tranquillamente di poter dire che siete il top si tende a raggiungere la vicinanza più'possibile al disco, bene ci siete riusciti aggiungendo quel tocco di live degli strumenti non presenti negli originali niente effetti stratosferici "luci laser ecc.ecc." nella vostra esibizione si trova ottima location molta passione e professionalità e una buona regia complimenti

The vocalist " Angela Cervantes" on the track "Great Gig In The Sky" was exceptional: going from treble to bass, without support or interval, it's a feat that even the vocals that accompany Pink Floyd, do not try to do in public, but take turns to do it... I absolutely love Live in Pompeii - and Echoes and Great Gig in the Sky are in my opinion among best pieces of music ever written. Therefore, I must admit that a was looking at this with a slight prejudice, as I usually don’t like Pink Floyd covers. They tend to try to add smaller or larger personal touches, but their music is so thought through. Everything is just right, nothing more, nothing less. At least while Waters was there. Even more pleasant then, to see that you nailed it. Minor differences to the original, but most of them actually works well and accentuate your style without ruining the fantastic introvert and “less is more” approach of Pink Floyd in the ancient oval. The technical implementation of the music is brilliant and the great voice in the sky is just fantastic. It is the first time I have listened to Pink Tones and this was great - even the Spanglish accent was charming 😊 Thank you. Well done!
Though One of these days wasn't that authentic than the rest of the show,but I can say with confidence that I have never seen a better interpretation of these songs played by a tribute band. Great performance guys! Would like to watch to this show in real...

Em meus 58 anos, nunca ouvi nada parecido, em termos de cover band. Gostaria muitíssimo que fizessem um show no Brasil, de preferência no Rio de Janeiro. O Maracanã seria um palco perfeito! I'm watching this on a huge Sony flagship 9000 series 4K TV live streamed off YT and yes, it's very good. I'm also old enough to remember the original Floyd performance at Pompeii so credit to these young guys and girls for the ordacity to take on such a challenge and to actually pull it off using as much as possible period hardware. I note there are one or two professional cameras positioned about with proper servo zoom lenses as well as a sprinking of 'toy' GoPros which really should have had graduated ND filters fitted to their fixed positions but hey, so what? Excellent sound quality prevails, given the cross winds on the day and credit too to the video editors who only allowed subtle use of drone footage! Bravo and Congratulations! Spanish countryside looks sublime too...

I just found this and wish I could give it more likes. I've seen Live in Pompeii many times during the 1980's as a "Midnight Movie". I bought the VHS, Laser Disk, and DVD. This video brought back many good memories.

Wow, imagine being at something like this. Fucking magical shit great work to everyone involved! The great gig singer did amazing as well which is no easy feat.
This is the third or fourth time I came across this on TH-cam and thought I'd just listen to a song or two. But once I start, I become mesmerized by the performance and wind up watching the whole thing....again. (as work piles up on my desk) So I've now invested almost 8 hours enjoying this. Almost like a bad drug.....but good.

In the meantime, STFU and go away. These people put on an outstanding performance of some complex music that is challenging to play, and it's not even in their native language!

I was 16 when Live at Pompeii came out, and it changed my life. It wasn't me who was mad... It was all of YOU! I still remember finding it again on VHS in the early 90s. I hadn't seen it in around 20 years, and it was magical to think it even survived all this time. Finding this Pink Tones tribute lifted my heart. There are still people like me in the new generations. Thank you & God Bless!

Each time I need some relax and beauty I come back to this perfoance. Hard to believe humans can create such stuffs and continue to make wars around the globe. Let's stop wars and cruelty and listen to music.
This is beyond excellent. I've been a Floyd fan from the first time they recorded. I've played music, recorded music, taught music and studied music, so I think I know a thing or two about music. I firmly believe that the performance here is one of the best, if not the best covers concert, arrangement and interpretation I've ever heard.
Added to this was the way you have done the visuals. From the video to the incredible girls, extras and performers, this concert should be a lesson for any up and coming musician. Irrespective of the genre, it stands out alone and is a remarkable feat that could be used in many curriculums.
Who is the remarkable woman singing the solo in Great Gig in the Sky and Atom Heart Mother? She is spectacular.
To say this is well done is an understatement, and too simplistic in the extreme. Well done, congratulations and please, tour New Zealand. You will never regret it.

Do you know what's a guitar amp head, and that you need a microphone to record it?
To be quite honest, I am not entirely sure whether the rendition is actually lip/instrumentally synced as it is too eerily similar to the original version. Also...how would the members of the band feel? I would surmise that Roger Waters would not like that especially with how he feels towards David Gilmore.
Recommended after 6 years, WTH? Extreme props for pulling off a mammoth project such as this - David, Roger, Richard, Nick and yes…even Sid, would be proud. Bien hecho mis amigos! 🙌👏❤️

I'd love to see that good-looking Billie Joe Armstrong lookalike guy screaming his lungs out, hahaha.
also, I'm SO, so glad that you guys didn't put on any songs from The Wall on, though I missed something from Animals (my fav one). I know it is a more aggressive album, but I think the album version of 'Dogs', for instance, would have fitted. but that's just me being annoyingly demanding, ignore it.

THAT is music being experienced, lived, and breathed. believe me: this must be the greatest thing I have watched on youtube this year so far, and even might be the greatest thing I've EVER watched on youtube. the scenery, the production, the shooting, the mixing, the sound, the feelings, the shivers down my spine... everything was thought-out in its ins and outs.
you guys clearly put your hearts into and have done justice to it, ESPECIALLY the keys guy, that completely represented my favourite musician of all time. I couldn't see that greatness coming. I'd love to have been part of that fortunate crowd. it is 03:00 in the morning now, I'm not sleepy and this has turned out to be an unexpectedly amazing way to spend my night. I just put my nice earbuds on, turned the volume all the way up, put the video in full screen, and didn't really notice the time going by until it reached to the conclusion. it's paid off big time.

The playing during this concert is fantastic. That is where all the good things needed to be said about this performance begins.
The performance is subtle at times and always dramatic.The vocals during "Great Gig"were outstanding, exceeded by the vocals during AHM...absolutely stunning !!!
The cinematography, the drone footage, the video editing is magical. The musical direction, arrangements and recording of the vocals and instruments, the final mix of it all is perfect ! There is so much to see and hear during this performance it will require multiple views.

Ok. The singing on The great gig in the sky was as good, if not better than I have ever heard live from Pink Floyd themselves, apart from the album version with Clare Torry herself. Unbelievable.
Have been listening to this PINK TONE concert for a number of times & never get bored or tired. The selected PINK FLOYD songs just flowed smoothly like water. Love much Angela Cervantes rendering The Great Gig & Atom Heart effortlessly. All the Musicians were great & did their part ALL OUT. Pink Tones are great fan of Pink Floyd & this is their TRIBUTE, their own particular way to render PINK FLOYD MUSICS. Love also the crowd for being quite & discipline throughout the concert as requested. OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE ! ! ! ! from the Philippines . . .

In all my years of listening to music on TH-cam, I have never been inspired to leave a comment... until now.
I have never heard of the Pink Tones before today, but I stumbled across this video while listening to music on my day off... and I must say, this entire performance is absolutely amazing. What a fantastic job by all of the musicians and singers who participated in this live production.
The woman doing the wailing vocals on "The Great Gig in the Sky" is just as good as Clare Torry's improvisational vocals on the original version.
My only critique... the drums and percussion were noticeably shallow, and needed to be a tad louder in the mix.
As for the individuals who have the gall to "thumbs-down" this performance, there's only one reason... talent envy.

Absolutely Stunning! I came across this performance by pure accident. I was looking for Live in Pompeii, which Floyd had removed under Copyright Infringement. Well, this is now my "Go To" when I need to get my "Fix!"
I was there since soundcheck started several hours before the show , It was so special , an authentic privilege , one of the most pure and finest performance from a cover band. Amazing set list , unique atmosphere. It wasn't pompeii, but almost...... Alvaro was better than ever.

The vocalist " Angela Cervantes" on the track "Great Gig In The Sky" was exceptional: going from treble to bass, without support or interval, it's a feat that even the vocals that accompany Pink Floyd, do not try to do in public, but take turns to do it...

I absolutely love Live in Pompeii - and Echoes and Great Gig in the Sky are in my opinion among best pieces of music ever written. Therefore, I must admit that a was looking at this with a slight prejudice, as I usually don’t like Pink Floyd covers. They tend to try to add smaller or larger personal touches, but their music is so thought through. Everything is just right, nothing more, nothing less. At least while Waters was there.
Even more pleasant then, to see that you nailed it. Minor differences to the original, but most of them actually works well and accentuate your style without ruining the fantastic introvert and “less is more” approach of Pink Floyd in the ancient oval.
The technical implementation of the music is brilliant and the great voice in the sky is just fantastic. It is the first time I have listened to Pink Tones and this was great - even the Spanglish accent was charming 😊

Absolutamente incrível! Pink Tones incorporou a alma do Pìnk Floyd de forma, que fica difícil distinguir uma banda da outra, mesmo para os fãs mais dedicados como eu. Em meus 58 anos, nunca ouvi nada parecido, em termos de cover band. Gostaria muitíssimo que fizessem um show no Brasil, de preferência no Rio de Janeiro. O Maracanã seria um palco perfeito! I'm watching this on a huge Sony flagship 9000 series 4K TV live streamed off YT and yes, it's very good. I'm also old enough to remember the original Floyd performance at Pompeii so credit to these young guys and girls for the ordacity to take on such a challenge and to actually pull it off using as much as possible period hardware. I note there are one or two professional cameras positioned about with proper servo zoom lenses as well as a sprinking of 'toy' GoPros which really should have had graduated ND filters fitted to their fixed positions but hey, so what? Excellent sound quality prevails, given the cross winds on the day and credit too to the video editors who only allowed subtle use of drone footage! Bravo and Congratulations! Spanish countryside looks sublime too...

I just found this and wish I could give it more likes. I've seen Live in Pompeii many times during the 1980's as a "Midnight Movie". I bought the VHS, Laser Disk, and DVD. This video brought back many good memories.

Wow, imagine being at something like this. Fucking magical shit great work to everyone involved! The great gig singer did amazing as well which is no easy feat.
This is the third or fourth time I came across this on TH-cam and thought I'd just listen to a song or two.
But once I start, I become mesmerized by the performance and wind up watching the whole thing....again. (as work piles up on my desk)
