It's pretty disappointing to see such thick bezels in 2020 laptops. Except for the top bezel (for the front facing cameras) the bezels really shouldn't be that thick. Would wanna see more laptops screens like the Dell XPS 13,15 and 17.
I agree but I wouldn't expect every laptop to suddenly match one of the most premium laptops atm

XPS 13, 15 and 17 = Sexiest laptops
I'm not sure about other laptops, but I'm sure ThinkPad will properly never do this unless there are some breaking improvements in terms of the durability of materials. ThinkPads always have relatively thick bezels because they have to comply with certain durability standards. Thin bezels actually make the device more vulnerable.
But yeah, in terms of appearance, the XPS 2020 lineup is definitely in the top position of the list. Unforturently, the build quality does not keep up with the sexy look.

My G14 still surprises me every time I pick it up! the weight, the size, the build quality... then I remember what its actually capable of and I just cant get enough of it!

Hi Tom, i am looking for a laptop and i really dont know witch to buy. Im looking at 14" to 15,6", macbook air, Huawei matebook D15 or maybe dell xps. I dont know if AMD or intel or if i5, i7 or ryzen 5 or 7. The use im going to be doing is everyday use some editing and no gaming at least for now. Because i play on a ps4.

Are you sure about Dell? I have Dell XPS 15 9550 but the battery is rubbish. I was about to replace the battery but it is discontinued already. It's a great laptop but would you consider the after-sales service for each brand?

The ARM processor will kill intel for sure. And might be AMD's new competitor. I mean the laptop won't have a fan as it will never heat up.
@@SexyGaymerPankaj Did you see Intel 11 th gen? My AMD chip is a crap compared to it?(I don't know about Zen 3, till then , Intel is the best at performance level).
@@ambilijohn6846 pay 200 bucks more for a 2% performance booster lmao. AMD is cheaper and offers very similar performances. And you also get more cores compared to intel.

Lenovo X1 Nano will be awesome. Asus Zenbooks look really cool, my favourites are XPS though.
I wouldn't recommend MacBook Air, as it has quite some thermal issues.

Sir I'm thinking of buying a new laptop i have narrowed it down to 2 laptops one is the HP 14s cf3028tu and the other is Asus Vivobook 14 X409JA-EK372T. As of mine i would say hall Macbook line up this year. Air 13 on i5/i7, they cost more then i3 version and heat up to 100° instantly even when watching TH-cam 4k, and throttle, thus giving the same performance as i3 variant, or even worse. Also new Mbp 13, since it costs almost as much as 16" and has only integrated graphics in it for 1800€. Honorable mansion to Matebook X pro, since its got the same 3rd gen ryzen and ddr3 memory, nothing has changed.

Sad to see the Hp Envy x360 not there! Has been pretty ground-breaking this year! First proper laptop to use the AMD 4000 series and absolutely smash the like of the spectre, XPS etc.
I have it and it’s great, only problem is the battery is shite...
lasts 4-5 hours when supposedly it is meant to last 11 or so hours. I didn’t do any draining tasks. I contacted them on twitter and they said it was normal... do you think I should ask for a second opinion from hp elsewhere or something?

what should be the thing or things to look at the most when it comes to buying a laptop? most of my time spent on a laptop consists of browsing the internet, watching videos, and doing small time video and photo editing (im not a professional), and i dont really do gaming on laptops. i'd be willing to spend around $700 or a new laptop.

The G14 was really exciting to see, but I think Dell hit gold with the new XPS line. Otherwise, almost all Ryzen 4000 series laptops was the main attraction this year.
