small bezels are ugly.

@Joel McDonald Yes, 16'' MBP is perfect.
IMHO aren’t those bezels also small relative to other mbp’s and 15” laptops-?
@@ryankbr Nope.
Intel is paying off Dell like they did a decade ago to stop them using AMD processors. I doubt we'll ever see an XPS with them.
jaju123456 because that’s a good use of your resource rather than invest in making better chips !!
Yeah because it isn't like these devices take months to design, test, and manufacture 🙄 I'd love to see AMD chips in more laptops, and I think we will, but let's get real here. Intel was still on top of laptop CPUs when these were designed.
I guess they would have to mate. Once the market gets filled up with AMD cpus, they won't be able to compete in terms of performance. I bet it is just a matter of time.
Intel is not paying off anything, it's called a contract.

WOW! I have the dell xps 9560 and they have fixed literally all the issues on the new models. That is amazing! My next laptop might be the dell xps 17. Can't wait for thermals, stress test, and performance soon.
Jetvictor they may fixed the issues with the XPS17 but the new XPS15 is disappointing in my opinion. An smaller battery with an bigger screen is an dumb thing to do and no Thunderbolt port on the right side ist stupid too. I will stick with my XPS 15 7590 because an 17” screen is no option for me. It’s just too big IMHO.
All the problems ? What about the thermal ? Same thing inside as yours...
Yeah I have 9560 that has heat issues and this looks great. But a decent port selection would have been perfect :/ Hopefully they include the HDMI-usb dongle in the box...
@@jesuismika It is not the same. Even the dell xps 15 have added extra air flow on the case and put the air out better. They have also added better thermal pipes on the 15 as well. Of course only the dell 17 has the vapor chamber which is the best. It is not the same as before

Most of the creative softwares(even games) still can't use all the cores and threads that AMD provides, and are better optimized for intel's single core performance and NVIDIA graphics. so until then people will still choose intel in such machines.

@TheGoat oh for sure. I just require expandability for nearly all of my devices. The new Mac Pro looks good but not for that insane price premium for a subpar CPU
@TheGoat Agree, Owned an HP Envy 13, Dell XPS 15 9550 4k and Huawei Matebook pro all had issues. HP would glitch out and lag, Dell would Blue Screen and Overheat and Huawei was the only stable one but was a bit too small for me so i gave that one to my mom and dropped 2k on a new 16 inch MBP. Best money ever spent Mac OS just works! Windows was the main issue with those other systems. I have no lag overheating or random shutting down ect... Hardware is beautiful as well.
@TheGoat I know that. The only reason I got the 16 was the OS being steady and the thermal improvements over the 15
