I got flashbacks to Thomas the Tank Engine replacing Alduin in Skyrim D:
Now think about all of those postapocalyptic Thomas "toys", like Thomas the Crawler Engine, with flamethrower.
I used that mod and never found a way to get rid of it. Everytime I encountered an enemy the ear rape theme played, thats why I stopped playing skyrim after 10 minutes

To be honest that is exactly what JoCrap would do. Except all his mods would be for the sword and shield. And he would add oils back in. I would love to have the oils back...

I kind of ignored mods in this game, as a mistake. Because once I've finally acquired everything except specific decos, I realized that all I had to do was download a mod and I'd have every mod imaginable by the end of a single days worth of grinding. I got my first mind's eye deco and then moments later realized I could've just downloaded something and gotten it in a single day lol. And it's not even against the rules to do so. Nothing spells futility quite like coming to the realization that 500 hours could've been 100 with a simple download off the mhw nexus. WELL, I'm off to play a game that has servers and doesn't allow data to be stored locally now XD. Bye everyone!

@@parents5432 As someone who did it, I heavily suggest you don't. It's pretty much the only thing you can do at end game is aim for decorations and rare drops. Without it, thats... That's pretty much it. There's no reason to keep on going by yourself.

I'm not sure why, but i've never had to use stracker for my costume mods. I didn't even know what it was until relatively recently.
I really love how every armour got changed at the start, except for the Odogaron Female... We all agree than... You can't replace that with anything. It's just the best.
The skimpy mods of Odo armor seem to disagree...

The 100% completion hit different. It truly does feel empty when you did not deserve it and or worked for it

I used to have the mods that made Pickle and Bagel-goose 'reee' instead of roar, so they would constantly 'reee' at each other.

@@VGJustice its funny im on ps4 still need to get iceborne but rl stuff meant i had no $ for it. but i recall being 5-600 hours in just about 2-3 months post launch. wasnt till after atkt that i said fuckit and had a friend save mod me all mats/gems (already had money and research points) just so i could make the few missing atkt and base kt weps rng denied me and because i had all but the minds eye ane only had 2 attack up jewels lol. id say the empty feeling of getting all mats is only for those who didn't actually play the game legit to end after that its just then i didnt need to grind i could just craft and test builds and optimize my sets since i could already play well enough to solo all content asides atkt and maybe at zorah because that mission is a slog solo. if someone loaded up and just played tho yeah i can see it feeling empty and i can see them being crap too ive seen people w save loaded files on ps4 who had min maxed sets and played like trash like gear and not skill dictates the game. so i wouldnt call item loading cheating vs shortcutting and it doesn't make someone a good player either. also why is to admit i did it after burn out set in so i could get what rng refused and then just play with it and hone my skill vs grinding to get my builds perfect.

btw ill tear thru iceborne legit when i can finally get it then update that file to compensate for rng and just do build craft and go play and have fun jump in w randos and see if i can help carry.
i mean skill can carry a team on this game naked or it can help one person carry a team if well geared while a min maxed group can have no skill and a godly setup and still be trash.

I play legit 99% of the time, but decided to cheat my grinding lands mats(health augment/damage augment etc). Just can't be arsed to reset my weapon whenever I change it, or endlessly farm said mats. May do it for decorations in the future because I'm just tired of being unable to put up build due to dumb rng.
Not feeling empty at all, and am still crown hunting the legit way lol
@@mnesias9643 I know the mod (and used it for a rare material) and it still needs tons of money. So its not that fast like it was shown in the video. Or the mod got an upgrade

Kudos on the use of Turok 2 music. That was a nostalgia trip.
Every time you use Spiral Knights music it makes me smile.
Effect mods for better visibility are the only ones i use. Like monster drops, slingshot ammo, bonepiles and ore veins. That's a thing Capcom really messed up until now.
Visibility isn't that bad until you get to the guiding lands. It was really annoying learning how to spot bones and ore in that area without being taught anything. The one thing that really needs fixing is the pickups. Damn slinger ammo within 5 feet of a monster drop, go away.
The only mod that I used is the visibility for dropped items for the greatest of the jagras mission it was a hell to find all the drop

3:20 on the left is basically what's under the Kulve armor anyways just now exposed.
I just used the mods to remove the strange white fog of the game, see the mining camps correctly on guiding lands and droped items from enemies (these are almost invisible in certain locations like the snow map) , totally worth it

I don't mind the heat changes that much, but it just got far too laggy to actually play it proper.. 0.5 second latency makes it practically impossible to pull off blocks and dodges. :x

Totally true the last cut, it feels empty when you have everything or can do whatever without a challenge. I did notice on my wow server (nothing special just trying out) and after a while that you feel like god, there is nothing right after
The hunt for me IS the challenge. The armor/weapon/stats is the padding tbh.

@@ThedeadMapleoak Same here. I just like the gameplay. The RNG gets boring. I don't give myself everything, but after a while I lose interest in the game fighting the same things just to get one great spirit vein gem to make my sword look cooler.
@@hootle4641 True true. I do truly enjoy this game but I think some of the ways you progress are definitely badly designed. In my opinion, I think fighting a monster 5-10 times warrants getting something you desire from it (Like the proper upgrade materials, rolls, etc).
I won't fault Capcom for trying to pad the gameplay time with a bit of grindy progression but there's a point at which they should really just reward players simply for grinding through their game.
One example is the mighty bow and shield jewel decorations. Builds literally revolve around these 2 jewels and having to find them through an archaic and RNG filled grind makes it feel horrible to play Block/Bow weapons because of this. This is something I would say, just cheat it in because it isn't fair to lock fundamental decorations like these behind RNG walls.
depends, farming for alatreon LBG and HH for example is a challenge, farming for 5 Kjarr to upgrade to rank 12 (right after farming 5 safi version) is a chore and unfun
The Stories mod is my favorite. Stories is my favorite game on 3DS and love the idea that I can have monsties fight with me. Always so much fun.

Speaking of a not so fun PC experience, I was doing an online helper quest, 15minutes in another guy dropped in. I think he turned his atk value too high it overflowed and went into negative, in one fell sweep he healed the monster. That's right, he healed the fucking B52. Then he proceeded to drop out of the session so I ended up fighting an multiplayer health B25... Twice. It took us 40 minutes.

First of all, fucking hilarious video, my favorite animated mhw vid so far, well done.
Second, it's funny, I'm a pc player, but the only mod I use is one that removes critical hit effects, coz that shit's giving me epilepsy (especially with dual blades). Mods are fun but mhwi is as near perfect game as you can get.
Liked the moral ending to start a new game. Nice job.

I still never understood this I liked her character enjoyed it being along side us MH world was my First monster hunter experience and her reactions to new monsters and areas was the same as me amazement and joy and interest and Ik some ppl shit on her bc shes larger in size but to make her that fat in the animation is just rude honestly xD so I really dont understand the hate I liked her as a character I think its more the veterans that dislike her than the newcomers since veterans already know all the monster stuff and info and arent as amazed or surprised where as newcomers are surprised along side her lol
@@galleo9462 Personally i dont like her because she feels like a dumbass who runs head first into a monster the size of a damn yacht and we got to bail her ass out again. I preferred the serious handler over her due to her professionalism. The fat part isnt even hard to explain, she is always at the canteen eating.
