Deeply shocked 😲when watching this video as I remember well watching Debbie in Are You Being Served, and had no idea that she had passed away at such a very young age, what a tragic end to a beautiful young woman RIP Debbie be with the rest of the angels ❤ 🌹

Debbie died two days before i had my son whos 25 on 8th oct. Debbie was a year younger than me. So sad to hear she had passed over.rip
So very sad that Debbie passed so young. It just goes to show that appearances can be so deceptive, because I would never think that she was using drugs. Bless her she must have been struggling. My heart goes out to her parents. 💔 😢

We were so lucky to grow up in the times that we did, to have such great TV shows, lots of comedy show just losts of slap stick comedy, such a shame that we have to watch what we say now before someone takes it to far, thank you to all the amazing people we grew up with to watch on TV. I remember when I was a wee youngster we only had 2 TV channels & are you being served was one of them. Even though I didn't quite know what the adults were laughing about she sure left my family in fits of laughter. Rest in Paradise beautiful lady 🙏 🕊🌿💛

I was thinking about her the other day. Googled her and discovered she'd passed away in the 1990s. She was a lovely girl. Sad she had a troubled end.
Agree with you re comedy, people also watch this kind of show now and forget it was a different era things change for better or worse. The couple you showed us got me, my mum n dad were young when they met, didn't have a tv till the mid 60s my mum would read to my dad before then he remembers being read the 39 steps
She was a beautiful actress, I remembered her and the show. It's the pressure from show business, for these girls to look a certain way.

Just been reading she lies beside her Father who was a Scottish band leader. She asked her Mum if she passed before her if she could be buried with him. Her Mum apparently agreed, not knowing what was to happen. So very sad.

We have the complete 10 series box of Are you being served and still watch it. Sadly they have all passed on now, no one left from it. Debbie's death was tragic though, so young. Showing yet again how drugs ruin peoples life. RIP

Hey Paul, that was a well put together video. But absolutely heartbreaking too. Are you being served was superb. As a young man I frequently saw Wendy Richard who loved her spare time having a drink in pubs around Marylebone as she lived just off Baker Street in the same block as a former pop star who’s now doing porridge in an HMP. Also I once saw John Inman in a floor length Liberace style fur coat!! In my former career I took Captain Peacock home to Barnes, he was very frail towards his latter years. RIP Debbie✝️

As a child I loved “are you being served” of course a lot went over my head as I just saw it as a comedy. I Like how you give the facts, no judgment and do this respectfully.

What a young age to dry and what a fantastic person I remember her in many of her TV roles and never knew she died at such a young age thank you do a fantastic job finding all these famous peoples graves and I was one of the people that worked on the new Guildford crematorium last year never knowing Boris Karloff Was there

i dont know where the news papers get this born in scotland stuff ,she was born and passed away in kingston hospital .wasn't sure what to expect from this video but i like it ,done with respect .
Debbie must have been devastated to lose her dad the year before she died too, poor lady. My friend lost her mum, and then killed herself a year later by jumping in front of a train. Grief is an awful thing to deal with.
