Kenneth MacDonald was an English actor who was best known for the parts of Gunner Nobby Clark in It Ain't Half Hot Mum and Mike Fisher in Only Fools and Horses.

Please someone trim those trees on his grave, what an amazing headstone true to his passion in life, acting.
Only fools was a better series for having him in it and one of the best series ever made.

Please would you visit some war heroes graves (all war veterans are heroes) but I think you will really touch a nerve with your subscribers if you were to locate some Victoria / George cross recipients and tell us their harrowing stories of suffering and sacrifice for the freedoms we all have today. It would be so interesting and very moving. Who agrees?

After 21 years I'm still shocked he passed away. He was a legend in Only Fools. RIP Kenneth McDonald.
You are so right about what you said. I nearly lost my life age 50 to a rare form of leukaemia in 2018. It's made me look at things very differently. This actor left us far too soon. A real shame 😔

Had the pleasure of meeting him in 1987 in Teddington. I was an apprentice carpenter on a job in the high street. He knew the builder and came to have a chat. He said they had the episode of Only Fools and horses 'Jolly boys outing' coming up to film plus he was in a Fox's biscuit advert. Other than that work seemed to be thin on the ground. Quite common for many actors. He was a lovely man to talk to. His builder friend supplied him with some materials he needed for a job I seem to recollect. Such a sad loss at a young age

Great video on a great actor loved It Ain't Half Hot Mum and Only Fools and Horses both classics never to be repeated and to be associated with either let alone with both is a real achievement, liked the philosophical thoughts very true life owes you nothing and it not till you get way passed you prime that you start to appreciate the time you got but the young think they are bulletproof 😄and why not, make the most of it young padawans may the force be with you.

Another great video in another great cemetery.Another cemetery that we visit on a regular basis as my friends family are all buried there.Next time we are there we will pay our respects to kenneth and thank him for all the laughs he gave us in life. Another person buried there is Art Wood and although he may be not so well known to some he does have a very very famous brother.Ronnie Wood of the RollingStones.When his brother died he was touring in America and at one point they thought the stones would have to cancal some of there dates so he could be with his family. Another well presented video Paul. Well done. I used to work in Turnham Green, near Chiswick, and opposite was a park with tennis courts, and most mornings, during nice weather, Ken would play tennis with a friend. He would often chat either before or after playing. A lovely guy. As you say, sadly taken too soon. R.I.P Ken 🙏🏼

Great research..brought back many memories of my youth..❤️ loved watching it ain't half hot with my grandparents.Grandad spent time in India during the war..he laughed and told me stories ..my GT uncle RAS Pagani was the only European to escape from the infamous ‘Death Railway’, where he endured brutal torture at the hands of the Japanese military.To date there are three books about him

It’s so sad the grave needs tending to. Hopefully somebody will come along this summer and tidy the grave so we can see the lovely gravestone again. Thank you Only Fools and Horses is what we still watch to this day, as the tv is so rubbish.

It looks like the heather that is low growing has been neglected and grown out of control, my own family plot in Windsor is now kerbed with marble chippings due to the fact my family is now living far and wide, and having volunteers tending a grave could be problematic if it offends or upsets close family, which is why plots that are 30 plus years old are better maintained by cemetery volunteers.

Never thought he come from Manchester
Our society actually puts famous people on a higher level of importance, than just the everyday public. But watching your channel does make you realise that in reality they are not any different than us, they are just well known or recognised. They are just as fragile as any of us regardless of achievements and wealth. In the blink of an eye it can all stop and be ended. I'm 50, the same age as Kenneth was when he passed. I don't feel anywhere close to believing that my life could be just about to end already, but of course, it can at any time. And the other thought I have realised is that although it's still sad if I did pass at 50, that it would be accepted as quite young but at least a reasonable or acceptable length of life. And of course ,there are many that sadly don't reach that. .......We really do need to realise that tomorrow is not a " given " for ourselves, and to be as happy with our lives as we can possibly be.
