If you get in the ring with an opponent it’s not that you choose to respect them but sharing the ring during a bout is an intimate experience and you develop a respect for someone who’s willing to put it all on the line you never feel the need to be disrespectful after the bouts done.
Most of muaythai fighter are more like happy to fight with him like he is a star and most of the time he fight is like guild and teach the opponent , thank you for like muaythai 🇹🇭
There are two streams of talent merged in Saenchai; his own + his teacher ( the tall guy, Olymics gold medalist ) who was an extraordinary Muay Thai fighter that no one wanted to fight him any more so he had to turn to international boxing and won the Olympics gold.
i'd type exactly the same thing, plz lemme add smth more , At some point Seanchai will fight against 2 or 3 muay thai fighter at a time the reason is the same as his mentor. and lastly the number 61 wins is only count after his quit professional muay thai. These guys will past 100 fights since their teenager year (under 20y/o).
Thanks J - Really enjoyed the vibe Saenchai got me hooked on full rules Muay Thai. I compare him to an incredible musician. They are blessed with something special - but there's a lifetime of dedication thousands and thousands of hours training to develop his unique style. And like great musicians, he's responsible for the new generation of Muay Thai. And he trains young fighters and inspires them to be their best. He's in his early 40s with 378 fights and he won 327. He hasn't been knocked to the canvas by a punch since he was 15. He's on a 67 fight win streak. I'm going to sub and look for more of your fight reactions Cheers!!

Saenchai is possibly the single best allround pure tactician there's ever been. There are others that approach the sport from a slightly different angle and were better at it. But no one has ever been better at specifically what Saenchai has ever attempted to do in terms of style.
He is old now but still hard to find someone to beat him and my opinion he is the one who has the most tecnique especially his flexible leg.
Correct. I would say Saenchai is best allround as a tactician, and Lerdsila is the best there's ever been when looking purely at the defense/evasive side of things (more so then Saenchai even dodging is his passion and he'll put extra effort in evading strikes just to show that he can which Saenchai would simply block), but both of these have ever really been super competitive. They fought competitively, but they weren't competitive. There's a distinction. When we look at the competitive side of Muay Thai in modern times we find people like Buakaw who was obviously one the greatest allright offensive fighters of all time. Rodtang who is incredible with his own very distinctive style which works in his own weight class. People often compare him to the monk dude, but that's just not true since Rodtang is infinitely more technical.
Samart the greatest in a way too in that these other tacticians could draw from those before, including him, but he had nothing to draw from. He pioneered a new style that fueled a new generation giving rise to these people. That too is great.

26 years old. 6 months into Muay Thai and rising rather quickly at this point im 4-0. I go into the gym to workout and prepare for sparring and I see everyone around this Asian kid. I walk over say hello, he just nods. Ok, so be it. I walk over start doing pad work and bag. He comes to me and asks to spar. I have never been so outright fucking dogged by a 17 yr old kid; I mean holy shit. Nothing but respect for the kid plus what're you gonna do about it if he has an issue? beat him up??

Saenchi is probably the best MT fighter I’ve watched. This video was alright but find some style breakdowns to see more of his flair. He and Leiserda(?) have gotten so good they put on a show and enjoy the competition. You can see they’ve gone beyond wins/loses and do it for love of sport.

In Muay Thai there's no pre match trash talk because Muay Thai is more than a sport, where the athletes use their body not their mouths, just go to any Thai tourist spot and you'll see a US/EURO douchebag like 6foot+ 180pounds get beaten up by a 5foot 130pounds waiter for making noise not wanting to pay his bill.

Saenchai is a nice guy and will gladly outscore you and win on points. But if you disrespect him in any way, you're done for. That's why you see him smiling and kissing opponents that much. Most of the time he isnt going for the kill
