- A short guide that explains how to abuse of the duping glitch in Digimon world 1. Before attempting to do this, you must have the following: 1 item of your choice that you want to duplicate, 1 restore, 3 random items, a lot of bit (around 300000 is enough). Also, verify that you haven't any item in sale at the recycled item shop in Gear Savannah.
First step: put your item of choice in the inventory plus the three random items. Save your game, then go into a battle where your digimon is killed quickly. When you reappear at jijimon's house after being defeated, check your inventory: if the item that you wanted to dupe is missing, read the next step. if not, reload the game and get killed again until your item of choice is lost
Second step: now go to the bank and withdraw a Restore (or buy it somewhere) and save your game. This time you have to lose the restore, so repeat the procedure you have made in the first step by getting killed until you lose the restore
Third step: Go to the shop in Gear Savannah (search for it around the 1st and the 15th of the year) and check the recycled item shop. You'll see the Restore on the top of the list and your item of choice immediately under the Restore. Buy the item and keep the menù open after buying the item: you will notice that the space where your item was is blank but it can be still selectioned. Select it and buy another copy of your item. Now that slot of the shop is glitched. Before going through the last step, sell the two copies of the item in the regular shop
Fourth step: open again the menù of the recycled item shop and select the item in the second slot. Raise the quantity until you reach the maximum:0. After buying 0 copies of the item (the item can be seen in the inventory but the amount of it is glitched), open the regular shop menù and select the item. This time, raise the quantity of the item until you reach I6 and then sell it. Depending on the item you've chosen, this trick can earn you infinite money and lots of good stuff. Repeat the last step as many times as you want to make a lot of money or just go to the recycled item shop and buy 99 copies of your items. Note that after buying 99 copies of the item, the second slot of the recycled item shop stops being glitched. To make it glitched again, buy all the copies left until the quantity displayed is again 0.
Be aware that if you make something wrong in the third step or in the fourth step your bits can become glitched and you'll probably won't be able to buy anything anymore so be careful when trying to do this trick - เกม

Thank you for posting, been trying to find this glitch for a while, you can just press square to sell or buy all items instead of scrolling that long just so you know. Do you know if there is a way to do this glitch for another item after doing it for a different item? Like, say I do the glitch and get 99 off chips, but now I would like to do the same for def chips, how would I be able to get that new item to glitch as well? Just die like last time?
hi! I knew about the square function but I preferred to scroll all the way up to the maximum in the video to show how it actually worked for those who don't understand quite well where do that 0 come from. Talking about your question, you have to do all over again all the process to glitch another item. This means that you have to un-glitch the glitched slot and buy the restore and lose again the item you want to duplicate and the restore. I hope that this is easy to understand, english is not my native language and I know I'm pretty bad at it :)

i always thought my copy was faulty. my digimon would always give a hard time when taking autopilot or portable shitter. i really didnt understand this game very much
just scold them if they don't take what you give.it's far more easier than trying to give the thing until they are willing to take it.
Is incredible that this game was supposed for kid, but if you dive deep this thing is more complicated than newer games

Hey ive only just found out about this glitch. Im already very far through the game only trying to get last 5 medals, im just wondering if I do this is there a way to get the 2 lives that are lost back? do they come back after the digimon fades away? Dont want to lose any techniques is all, only 5 to go!

Don't worry about losing the lives. When that Digimon fades away, the next one will be born with 3 lives.
PS if you are going for the medal for raising all the Digimon, you will have to lose a life to get Devimon (unless you use a digivolution item). You get him when your Angemon has less than 50% discipline and loses a life (only works half the time).

+Totoka as far as I remember you can lose techniques only if you lose all your lives, so you don't have to worry about anything since (as explained by Brandon) the lives will be restored when your digimon fades away

é um glitch de duplicar items amigo, é meio complicado de fazer mas em resumo você tem que perder o item numa luta (deixar ele ser roubado) e comprar de volta daqueles vendedores de Savana Gear (depois de ter perdido um restore tambem)... Tem que ter itens aleatorios no invetario tambem... é complicado mas sabendo fazer da pra pegar dinheiro infinito e copias infinitas de um item que você quiser (chain melon sendo um dos que vale mais apena)
Protip if you cheat the game becomes less fun.
This game is different since the amount of glitches, broken mechanics and unfairness exist. Try digivoliing in this game with no guide. You can go your whole life and not find out anything.

Or maybe you were one of those exceptions that didn’t play it as a kid and calculated every single digimon you did and wrote down numbers of care mistakes, etc
Once I got older, I started doing that but a game like this where its a more 70s-80s level of difficulty is not for me now. I like difficulty challenges but not in this case.
The game offered basically next to no hand holding. I can respect that since I eventually just looked up the rest.
But the game had many, many flaws.
One thing I wish they did add is everyone time you digivole to a specific digimon, you unlock one condition to that specific evolution. So to find out how to get it at will, you need to gain that digimon a few times.
EG. When you unlock Greymon, you gain 1 piece of info on 1 of the conditions needed to get it: The info can be at random, such as weight, parameters, care mistakes.
Bonus conditions would be the only ones not stated.
@M.Tom, also to be fair, this isnt cheating; it is a glitch that was already in the game.

There is the infinite money exploit too with the Mojimon in Freezeland:
He will give you an OFF disk for a Med recovery. Because OFF disk sell back more than the price of a single bought Med recovery (1500), you will make about 500 BITS per trade.
Another little trick which I always did that isnt an exploit is to save all types of food that satisfy hunger (meat, giant meat and digimushrooms).
Once you get Sirloin, hopefully you have enough food to not use the Sirloin and instead, sell it. They sell for 500 BITS a piece. Many times, Ive saved up to 99 Sirloin and got rich selling it. When I was a kid, that was the reason BITS weren’t a problem since I didnt know about the two aboved glitches till I want an adult.
Alternavily, you can just buy Meat at the Item Shop at 50-100 (i forgot) Bits a piece for food once you gain the Sirloin Farm. Unless your Digimon is heavy and eats a lot, you will still make money just from buying meat for food and selling the daily sirloins.
