My skin looked like this too. I cleared it up by drinking green juices and drinking more water. It’s crazy how it’s not just what we put on our skin that can affect it, but also what we put in our bodies.

Sure. I do 3 greens to one fruit. For example, dandelion, kale, cucumber, and a green apple. I also add lime or lemon, and stevia. Sometimes, I don't add fruit and just do greens with lemon and stevia. Soooo good!

Those bumps are fungal folliculitis and was most likely brought on by the warm climate of the place you were visiting. The reason aloe vera works is because it has antifungal properties. You can also use sulfur soap and other antifungals to get rid of it.

NEVER exfoliate when your skin is its at its most sensitive state. And yes, aloe vera plant is a miracle plant that helps soothe the skin. It also treats acne.

Actually, one week ago I bought a face wash recommended by a doctor that also contained aloevera, I was not much concerned about it and ignored it. With every wash I started noticing textured skin and tiny bumps all over my face, it was really worse I had so much clear skin before. And I found out aloevera was what caused the allergic reaction to my face. I have stopped using it and it is getting noticeably better.

I’ve always had clear skin. I got a few pimples that would come and go easily. I always stayed within the same line of products, so when I suddenly got this problem, I panicked. First I thought it was an allergic reaction (to god knows what), the night before my face was itchy, and then I woke up to a red rash face. It is day five now, the redness and itchy feeling is gone, but the grainy texture is still there.

Update: Kinda late but two weeks after this comment, it barely faded away. My mom got me this Aveno cream that treats eczema symptoms (redness, dryness, irritation, and itchiness).
That item was GOD SENT, I washed my face with an Aveno cleanser and moisturizer, after ten or so minutes I applied the cream and 80% of the sandy texture went away in two or so days, I regularly use it (at least four times a week), it’s been two weeks since and it’s non-existent 🙏🏾 🙏🏾

I think it may have been something I ate unknowingly because it seemed like an allergic reaction, I'm still unsure. What helped me was washing my face with my normal cleanser morning and evening as usual but additionally rinsing my face with just water during the day, no moisturisers or creams just leaving my skin open to breathe (but clean). In 3 days it's already almost fully cleared up, all the best!

as a dude who still has issues with his skin, and knowledge that everyone's skin and surrounding conditions is different, my only advice is; see a dermatologist and get them to work their magic. I know it might cost a bit but its totally worth it, i had nasty cystic acne and went on a isotretinoin treatment and its gone now and i feel far better and my interactions are better too. think of it like going to an orthodontist for braces; its not going to change you, but will make you look like a better you and you'll feel it and its worth the money.

Glad you found the cause and learned from the experience! Exfoliating is tricky especially if you’re new to skincare and haven’t done your research. I used to use a daily exfoliating cleanser to wash my face and treat acne. I didn’t know it was drying out my skin and making it more sensitive at the time. Now that I’ve done my research, I treat my skin more gently via the products I use and how I cleanse it. I only chemically exfoliate with Drunk Elephant’s glycolic night serum once a week and that’s all the exfoliation I need. One time, I heard someone say they used the same glycolic night serum every night and wondered why their skin wasn’t reacting well to it. I was horrified at the idea of using such a strong chemical exfoliant every day. I was glad to share how I used the product and the information I learned about exfoliating.

R.A. Cruz actually when we think that we have oily skin, we tend to conclude that we don't need moisturizer. But honestly, the answer is the opposite. The more our skin is dry, the more it pumped oil. What we must do is to regulate it. To understand it more, try to watch Liah Yoo's vlog here in YT. She's very good in explaining skin conditions and introducing products as well that really works. Oh she also explained the AHA and BHA. Trust me, you will know your skin better after following her.

All goes back to the all natural approach. Aloe Vera, it's hard to find the actual plant here but buti nalang they sell it in the asian supermarket..the only thing that got rid of my sandy skin... Definitely agree with her on this 💯

This may be off topic but I tried using maxi peel and it made my skin’s texture similar to yours. Instead of expecting that I’m helping my skin I was actually making it worse. First, I have no acne. My concern is only my darkened face that I want to lighten using the peeling effects of the Maxi peel. Yes, i think the texture is due to the micropeeling but I realized I was making a wrong approach regarding my skin’s condition. Maxi peel in itself is matapang and it causes irritation. I stopped using it after religiously appling at night for almost a week and will start using organic products that are proven to lighten skin the natural way. What i learned from your video which I’m very thankful is to always listen to your skin and being careful on what we’re doing to it :) thanks for making this video!

I've only had make up on my face once or twice in my entire life so it's not the culprit. I was afraid to exfoliate because it's called hyper pigmentation in the past. This began happening to my skin a few years ago, after my body went through the trauma of several cardiac arrest events. Idk if that played a part, but I truly believe that it did because afterward my skin changed, my hair was falling out (way more than it usually does) & even my taste changed. What I found helped me was antibiotic ointment! My mom actually recommended it. And literally, within a few days, it was gone. I had tried organic remedies, & a friend of mine even made a balm for me. Nothing helped except the antibiotic ointment. Just a suggestion...

    • @jhanezmile23
      @jhanezmile23 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Elaine Villapando exfoliating is like body scrub but it is for your face. It is facial cleanser that has tiny beads to remove dead skin. Eskinol does not exfoliate but it burns your skin because it is made of alcohol. Toner is to something you use after washing your face to so that your pores will close. Eskinol is not a toner, okay? Toner and Eskinol are 2 different products with different use or functions.

    • @jhanezmile23

Sapphire Kuroko Eskinol are being used by people to cleanse their face however it has bad ingridient which is alcohol. Putting alcohol on your face regularly will burn your skin and will lead to dark spots. Make sure to use products that are alcohol free and oil free for a healthy skin.

I realized it was the “Simple” make up remover wipes and started looking back and realizing that my face only gets like this when I use ANY type of make up wipes so now I just steer clear of them. :)

I've been dealing with this for over 3 years. Its so annoying because my skin is actually usually perfect. From afar it glows and looks wonderful, but up close its so rashy. Theres nothing Ive done that has cured it. Ive tried Nizoral and it doesnt work. Ive tried cutting stuff out of my diet. I eat so healthy, no refined carbs, whole foods only. Barely any sugar. Im very hydrated. I take such good care of myself but my skin frustrates me soooo much. 3 years! I have not seen my face clear. Ridiculous.

Omg YAS to this video. The exact same thing happened to me- we basically destroyed our skin’s natural lipid barrier. I remember one day it legit looked like sand paper and I thought I needed to exfoliate but that was actually the opposite. I finally had fixed it but when I was still going through that I was honestly so depressed.

@@self_lovecare Hi Kajal, thank you for asking. Yes it went away after I stoped exfoliating every single day probably twice (sorry can’t remember exactly how often) . When my skin cleared I started exfoliating once a week ,the sandy texture actually disappeared quite quickly. Since then I had no such experience.

@@self_lovecare Sorry to hear that , please stop exfoliating that often as it only harms your skin . Keep moisturising until your skin becomes normal and then take exfoliation very slowly may be once in every two weeks or so depending upon how your skin handles it.

My opinion is every time that's happen something like this. Is something wrong in your body, not on skin! Clear your inner body with some juice(detox) and eat some vitamins and drink a lot of water. Then you can do something for your skin on top yet. I recommend Aloe vera the most and salycid acid as exfoliator. All love😌

This is happe to me as well..I used to have clear and glow skin..and now got a lot of pimple on chin area. I bought a lot of skin care...and it didnt work. Even some product make it worst. I was frustated and my mom suggest me to stop all of the product. And already day 4. Every morning and night I only use honey + lime as a mask and betel leaf as another mask. And only use moisturizer after that. My acne start to reduce..skin looks much brighter...and I will keep doing this until I get my skin back. You should try it girls. Back to nature is the best way 😊
