R.A. Cruz actually when we think that we have oily skin, we tend to conclude that we don't need moisturizer. But honestly, the answer is the opposite. The more our skin is dry, the more it pumped oil. What we must do is to regulate it. To understand it more, try to watch Liah Yoo's vlog here in YT. Debbie Buenavista exactly. My holy grail skin care is using just mosturizer. Used vaseline men mosturizer before pero face out na siya few years back so I am in the search for the perfect mens mosturizer for me. Currently using the nivea pore minimizer.
This happened to me just a few days ago, my skin was perfect and then one morning I had the SAME fine rash covering my entire face, no itching redness or inflammation. I think it may have been something I ate unknowingly because it seemed like an allergic reaction, I'm still unsure. What helped me was washing my face with my normal cleanser morning and evening as usual but additionally rinsing my face with just water during the day, no moisturisers or creams just leaving my skin open to breathe (but clean). In 3 days it's already almost fully cleared up, all the best!
I’m going through this now!! My skin feels like sandpaper 🤦🏾♀️....I thought it was a breakout but now I know it’s just dry skin from being dehydrated. At first I wasn’t sure but hearing you say it confirms!!
Sooo helpful! My face was in the same state after much swimming, good thing I watched this. It prevented me from further aggravating my skin’s condition. Thanks a bunch! 😀
Glad you found the cause and learned from the experience! Exfoliating is tricky especially if you’re new to skincare and haven’t done your research. I used to use a daily exfoliating cleanser to wash my face and treat acne. I didn’t know it was drying out my skin and making it more sensitive at the time. Now that I’ve done my research, I treat my skin more gently via the products I use and how I cleanse it. I only chemically exfoliate with Drunk Elephant’s glycolic night serum once a week and that’s all the exfoliation I need. One time, I heard someone say they used the same glycolic night serum every night and wondered why their skin wasn’t reacting well to it. I was horrified at the idea of using such a strong chemical exfoliant every day. I was glad to share how I used the product and the information I learned about exfoliating.
I been noticing my skin has been appearing with a lot of texture and it’s annoying that only filters make me look decent, I will definitely try this! I so believe in natural remedies!
as a dude who still has issues with his skin, and knowledge that everyone's skin and surrounding conditions is different, my only advice is; see a dermatologist and get them to work their magic. I know it might cost a bit but its totally worth it, i had nasty cystic acne and went on a isotretinoin treatment and its gone now and i feel far better and my interactions are better too. think of it like going to an orthodontist for braces; its not going to change you, but will make you look like a better you and you'll feel it and its worth the money.
I am experiencing this now, and suddenly I saw this vlog. I'll try to drink water more and I will use fresh aloe vera plant for my face forever! Thanks for this momsh, kryzzie! 😍😍😍
summery- dont over exfoliate take a leaf of Aloe vera sccrap of the juicy part of the leaf and aply on face leave for about 15 minutes or so and then wash
I have experienced this last year. You just really need to moisturize, moisturize, and moisturize. The Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel helped tremendously ❤️ but the actual plant is great too hehe
TJ Maxx usually has it. I highly recommend the gel mist version, some brands are higher aloe content (I swear by 98% aloe gel mist). Combine with a green tea sheet mask, vitamin E oil from Trader Joe's, and a snail mucin sleep pack; your skin will think it's died and gone to heaven.
Omg so I stumbled upon this video today after driving myself crazy googling and youtubing and I saw a pic of ur skin and mine LOOKS JUST LIKE THAT. Hi Kryz, The exact same thing is happening to me for a while now ever since I started my skincare routine .I was really struggling to find out the solution for the same . Thank you so so much for the right information on right time on my home page out of no where .I am stopping exfoliation from today. You are a star 🌟. Thank you 😊
@@self_lovecare Hi Kajal, thank you for asking. Yes it went away after I stoped exfoliating every single day probably twice (sorry can’t remember exactly how often) . When my skin cleared I started exfoliating once a week ,the sandy texture actually disappeared quite quickly. Since then I had no such experience.
@@self_lovecare Sorry to hear that , please stop exfoliating that often as it only harms your skin . Keep moisturising until your skin becomes normal and then take exfoliation very slowly may be once in every two weeks or so depending upon how your skin handles it.
Omg finnaly I found this video I'm suffering from this kind of skin . I was so scared I thought my skin got damage . What u said in this video I got that same with my skin and it really feel itchy and redness and small small sand textures on my cheeks I got sick for a whole 2 days because i took a lot of tension of that and when I look in a mirror I used to cry . I cannot thank u enough!! I suddenly woke up with my whole face skin texture changed and I was so unbelievably scared that my skin is not going to change back. After some research and ur video, I found out that I was overexfoliating.... So I bought Aloe Vera leaves and made my own gel. Let me tell u I'm shook! This shit is magical! My skin is so smooth now and I've been only using the gel for 2 days, so THANK U!!!
Elaine Villapando exfoliating is like body scrub but it is for your face. It is facial cleanser that has tiny beads to remove dead skin. Eskinol does not exfoliate but it burns your skin because it is made of alcohol. Toner is to something you use after washing your face to so that your pores will close. Eskinol is not a toner, okay? Toner and Eskinol are 2 different products with different use or functions.
Sapphire Kuroko Eskinol are being used by people to cleanse their face however it has bad ingridient which is alcohol. Putting alcohol on your face regularly will burn your skin and will lead to dark spots. Make sure to use products that are alcohol free and oil free for a healthy skin.
My skin was always clear and I really liked how smooth it was until one random day .Suddenly my skin was slowly becoming bumpy and textured and I cant get rid of it

Omg I'm so happy I found this I been looking for over a year a fix to this issue cause every time I wear makeup it looks terrible and my skin has gotten so dry that I kept exfoliating too and it's caused me to become so insecure with and without makeup. I'm definitely going to try this I used to use the aloe vera plant on my skin all the time for acne or burns , but after a while it weirdly stopped working for me and would make my skin really itchy. I'm hoping this works. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you for sharing this video because I have an appointment in the morning for a sandpaper like rash on my face tomorrow. I tried the aloe vera in the tube so I'll take your advice and get a plant tomorrow. I'll drink lots of water as well. Will keep you posted if my doctor has anything else to share. I've only had make up on my face once or twice in my entire life so it's not the culprit. I was afraid to exfoliate because it's called hyper pigmentation in the past. I'm concerned because the rash is rough and dark where men would have a mustache and beard...right around my mouth and chin all the way up to my cheek on one side.
Omg YAS to this video. The exact same thing happened to me- we basically destroyed our skin’s natural lipid barrier. I remember one day it legit looked like sand paper and I thought I needed to exfoliate but that was actually the opposite. I finally had fixed it but when I was still going through that I was honestly so depressed.

She's very good in explaining skin conditions and introducing products as well that really works. Oh she also explained the AHA and BHA. Trust me, you will know your skin better after following her.
Debbie Buenavista exactly. My holy grail skin care is using just mosturizer. Used vaseline men mosturizer before pero face out na siya few years back so I am in the search for the perfect mens mosturizer for me. Currently using the nivea pore minimizer.
Debbie Buenavista true. Kind of ironic because she has moisturizers in her belo skincare line
I thought I had oily skin before discovering skin care. Now I use 2 types of moisturizer and sunblock everyday and I noticed it made my skin normal.
THANK YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH ugh you can’t understand how this vid saved my life
how did u apply it exactly?
This happened to me just a few days ago, my skin was perfect and then one morning I had the SAME fine rash covering my entire face, no itching redness or inflammation. I think it may have been something I ate unknowingly because it seemed like an allergic reaction, I'm still unsure. What helped me was washing my face with my normal cleanser morning and evening as usual but additionally rinsing my face with just water during the day, no moisturisers or creams just leaving my skin open to breathe (but clean). In 3 days it's already almost fully cleared up, all the best!
Did you use the actual plant or the gel that comes in a tub

My situation exactly! I feel so embarrassed to have this type of face. My face is so much more rough than my hard working truckdriver dad´s feet :(

Great point! Thanks for sharing!

This is my skin situation right now 😫 so glad I found your video
Sooo helpful! My face was in the same state after much swimming, good thing I watched this. It prevented me from further aggravating my skin’s condition. Thanks a bunch! 😀
Thanks for watching! hope it will work on you too:)
Once a week is enough for bumpy skin
I over exfoliate don't know how to get back my skin barrier
I been noticing my skin has been appearing with a lot of texture and it’s annoying that only filters make me look decent, I will definitely try this! I so believe in natural remedies!
Did it work?
GIRL THANK YOU for this!!

as a dude who still has issues with his skin, and knowledge that everyone's skin and surrounding conditions is different, my only advice is; see a dermatologist and get them to work their magic.
Did yours suddenly get really red like hot look every day
summery-
dont over exfoliate
take a leaf of Aloe vera sccrap of the juicy part of the leaf and aply on face leave for about 15 minutes or so and then wash
can i used alovera gel instead or nah its hard to find alovera leaf
one of the best vlogs! she didn’t introduce/plug any branded products hahaha this is quite surprising! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I have experienced this last year. You just really need to moisturize, moisturize, and moisturize. The Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel helped tremendously ❤️ but the actual plant is great too hehe
Amen to that! 🙏
Where can I get the nature republic aloe ver gel at?
Jasmin Martin at nature republic! Or amazon! But I’ve tried it and it does have like 2% alcohol in it and it’s just a bit drying (I have combo skin)
The plant from the garden center or the aloe vera you see from the produce section?
you have no idea how this enlightened me.
Omg so I stumbled upon this video today after driving myself crazy googling and youtubing and I saw a pic of ur skin and mine LOOKS JUST LIKE THAT. A lot like u I have a great skincare regimen and have always had very clear skin. This happened overnight and I've been going crazy wondering if it's an allergy. Etc. I have started working out recently and perhaps the dehydration makes sense! I am so glad I came across ur video and I will be taking steps and trying to maintain hydrated. I hate this patchy sandlike skin! Ur video is amazing! Thank u!
I totally agree 👌🏻 exfolliating too much may cause dryness and skin textures and true alove vera works, good to know ur skin is ok now 🤗
Thanks Essa! ❤
Im so thankful i watched this. It took my 5 days but my skin went back to normal, smoother even.
I drank plenty of water. Everyday i used aloevera, left it for 15 minutes then washed my face. Then i sprayed a moisturizing mist, then applied moisturizer + moisturizing gel.
Products that i used:
* Luxe organix - soothing gel
* Celeteque - hydrolyzed mositurizing mist
* Evian facial spray
* Celeteque face mositurizer
* Celeteque acne solutions facial moisturizing gel
Your skin barrier was broken due to dryness and UV exposure. Hydration is a base regimen :)

Elaine Villapando Hi, exfoliatingbis like using eskinop or toner?
Elaine Villapando exfoliating is like body scrub but it is for your face. It is facial cleanser that has tiny beads to remove dead skin. Eskinol does not exfoliate but it burns your skin because it is made of alcohol. Toner is to something you use after washing your face to so that your pores will close. Eskinol is not a toner, okay? Toner and Eskinol are 2 different products with different use or functions.
Zarah M then what is eskinol?
Sapphire Kuroko Eskinol are being used by people to cleanse their face however it has bad ingridient which is alcohol. Putting alcohol on your face regularly will burn your skin and will lead to dark spots. Make sure to use products that are alcohol free and oil free for a healthy skin.
My skin was always clear and I really liked how smooth it was until one random day .Suddenly my skin was slowly becoming bumpy and textured and I cant get rid of it
