Distance killed my Rode Wireless Pro

A quick video about a shoot where I had to switch mid shoot to the Deity Theos kit and stop using my RODE wireless pro kit.

awesome man. good to know. i mic 2 rugby players up with lav in a GPS sports bra and the signal cuts in and out but that was expected. sometimes i can hear the audio and they are 50meters away.

What happened to the backup? I own the Rode Wireless Go II.

Yes the backup is totally an option but I wanted to monitor the audio as we were shooting. So not hearing it as we went wasn’t an option.Plus I hadn’t done the timecode sync.
