Simon, this series is reminding me of your bicycle tour series. I love your documentary film style and your narration is my favorite. I can’t say thank you enough for all you do.
💯 agree. Forest is a rock star ⭐️ on lifestyle, cooking, mountain climbing only dimming when in comparison to Rocko’s light. Forest, will you please consider moving with a crew or at least someone else? Please tell us you carry one of those beacon thingies where people can find you. And again as a wire fox terrier owner I can 💯 say you picked the perfect breed for your lifestyle. They are relentless, loyal, fearless and happy dogs. She will make your life if she hasn’t already.
That has to be about the shittiest hike I've ever seen anyone take. Grizzly bears, constant bugs, slogging through freezing water and sticky mud. Full credit to you FF for fully 'embracing the suck' of this hike, and thanks for taking us with you!
My wife and two other women spent a week navigating their way across the volcanic moonscape of Mt Edziza back in 2011. Just after starting the trek she came down with some sort of a stomach bug but managed to complete the backpack. It was a wild time seeing caribou and bears, they even managed to get lost at one point. The ladies arrived at Telegraph Creek 6 days later and called across, as instructed, for their prearranged boat ride over the mighty Stikine River. She was 58 at the time. Pretty proud of that girl.
its interesting how often an unassuming, soft spoken, peace loving (not necessarily muscle bound or macho) person has the biggest balls and has the passion to do the most strenuous, dangerous, physically challenging undertakings...born out of pure love and passion for nature.. Big respect Foresty
And knowing that he survived to edit and post the video is always a great relief. Magnificent video work, with or without a drone. Can't get enough Rocko!
I love the regular ten- to fifteen-minute videos, but this was epic, and it made total sense to do it as a single video. Thanks for all your hard work, Simon. I am always conscious that for every trip you take, you've also got to set up all the shots and take the footage that is later transformed into these experiences. It must be exhausting, and it's much appreciated.

To a bear, a dog is just another wolf and that animal has been a bear's enemy over thousands of years. They compete for food andvterritory. Worst thing you can have with you in bear country. One nice little hors d'oeuvre to a griz though.
I am convinced Rocko is living a life better than most dogs could even imagine! Adventure on! Congrats on 400k right around the corner. Well deserved and a huge feat. to be celebrated.

People are really hungry for REAL reality over acting and you are the best at it on TH-cam in my opinion. Thank You So Much for all of your hard work.
Just finished the Lake Superior Coastal Trail (with our dog). Sit down on the couch after the 9 hour drive home, open TH-cam and see Foresty doing something 100 times more impressive. Great stuff.
I used to backpack with my German Sheppard and I remember how she knew exactly where my remote off trail campsite was from the year before. She led me right to it.
Every time I watch your vids I get motivated to go explore something. You are an inspiration! Also I’ll play your videos on the TV for my dog and he is obsessed
6:52 Time for a Rocko swimming lesson to wash that crud off! 33:46 Always amazes me when you are able to backtrack thru the thickest bush and find your stuff!
I believe he drops a GPS pin when he stashes stuff. So that at least gets him close to it. I wonder if he also takes a picture of the area to help his memory.
"Really feels inadequate", but of course Foresty is going to send it anyway! Cheers on yet another wild adventure, and Rocko truly has proven herself your equal. 👏👏👏👏👏🤘🍻
It was so good to see you and Rocko on this big adventure and I enjoyed a longer length video too. I bet you had to give her a good wash and dry before she hopped into bed with you! Being able to see the scenery and even your close-up shots of those pretty wildflowers and succulents was great and much appreciated. You have worked hard to bring this to your viewers. Bye for now, and hope you are well.
What a great shot of her standing on the rock by the flowers. She is the swiss army knife of adventure dogs. What a slog of a hike, appreciate the ride, paddle & hike along.
Another incredibly epic video - adventure, scenery, great videography, a rickety bridge, a bear, struggle. I feel so fortunate to be a viewer, thank you.
Excellent video! It brought back teenage memories. In 1967 as a teenager, I climbed Ambition Peak (first ascent) near the Stikine River, from that summit I could see the Devils Thumb, and Mt Edziza. Over the years I have wondered what it would be like to hike near Mt Edziza, your video was very refreshing and gave me insight into that area.
Holy Cow Foresty !!!!! What an adventure !!! Usually I'm chillin watching your videos and enjoying the views, but this one had me on the edge of my seat !!! Gorgeous scenery !!! Rocko is the Bomb !!!!! She also finds your shoes, wards off bear attacks and you don't have to bring as much food as you would for a bigger dog !!! Happy Adventure !!!!
Hey dude. This shit looks casual but is very badass. Good channel. Others don’t realize how far out from what normal people are willing to do you are. In a good way. You the man
Dear Simon. A day later, and I finish watching your incredible hike. Two peaks! No, 3! Rockos nose found the way again and this viewer was glad you descended the peaks safely, avoided glacial danger, returned to that 'random' landing and that your bike was good to go. You show us glorious mountains while sharing your own goodness. I am grateful for this Simon. God bless you and love you. T .

I hope you and Rocko had nice refreshing showers in the hotel. 6 days of stinky dog is a whole achievement in itself.
Friday Night at the Movies! Tonight was Epic Adventure night! Spectacular cinematography, tons of trekkin’, wildlife watchin’, sandal suckin swamps, freestylin’ Foresty, resiliently regal Rocko, and Canadian mosquitos trying to get hopped up on caffeine! Also, that food looked amazing!!!! They need to ship to the U.S.! Thanks for taking us along on this one. It was epic in every sense of the word!!! 😊
Having watched just about every episode Foresty has made, I rate this one the best! He has taken me to a place I will never get to, making it a real adventure. I feel this type of trip is perfect for Foresty and would encourage him to do more like this. I really enjoyed it and a big thank you for all your hard work both in making the trip and in the hours of video editing you put into it.
Hey Foresty! Thanks for the spectacular adventure. The summary at the beginning and a little format change was very nice. Can't wait to see what You and Rocko do next. Lots of bears in those woods... Be careful. :)

You got a new intro which is nice. You know Simon. I won't see it in my lifetime, but you and your Wonder Hound will be in the Canadian history books. You just wait and see. There's not many people doing this. There's documentary it on film. You're about to write about it or whatever, but you're going to be in Canadian history. Not in my lifetime. Definitely in yours. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🐕🐻🐻
This was probably my favourite of all your videos, and I've been following you since your first minivan videos. Just the remote location, stunning mountain scape and struggle to get there ... epic!!! Also love how you're giving these folks with their camping meals a boost, will definitely look that up. Thanks for what you've made out of your life - keep on trucking and hiking and paddling and cuddling the Swiss Army knife of adventure dogs!
What an adventure! Terriers are terrific little companions. Your description of Rocko is perfect. You sure do some scary stuff and you have me on the edge of my seat sometimes. Excellent video. Stay safe!
Thank you so much Foresry and Roco ❤ Side note: i wouldn't have been able to fall back asleep after Roco went bonkers that night. 😢.... such a good girl, she scared that big thing away.
Yesterday I did a 13k hike and had to do a patch through the snow without my spikes. Boo hoo. This guy puts my whining in perspective. Full respect - you are a legend.
Rocko bites holes through your tent in a fit of frantic desperation of defense, and FORESTY is just like, yeah, something big was walking around us last night. Don’t know what it is. 😱😱😱
Love seeing a longer video from ya, Foresty. This one was great. I'm happy it was just black bear you ran into, because that wilderness looked a bit wild. Stay safe, bud.
Stunning achievement, bravo 👏 There aren't many people who can say "that's all there is to it" nearing the end of an incredibly challenging 92 mile wild country adventure. You're truly a legend.
When I watch your videos it seems I have to pause them often to open my puter and make a comment about how awesome your filming is. The backtracking is worth it, I think. Maybe that's why you have so many subscribers :) Thank You, Simon, what a great job you do!
When I watch you on some of the risky stuff, like the loose rocks it scares me. Then I just remind myself, Forests got back because he posted the video! So yeah, be safe out there! Loved watching Rock taking a nap in an alpine meadow!
This should be on Netflix. Foresty has really worked hard to bring us places we can only dream of. Thank you

Fearless Foresty! All the best to you and your little Buddy.
Thank you so much for sharing your adventurous challenges! I almost got exhausted by watching.
So glad you have Rocko as companion🐕💕
Putting the venture back in adventure. Go foresty go.
Hey Foresty! Thanks for the spectacular adventure. The summary at the beginning and a little format change was very nice. Can't wait to see what You and Rocko do next. Lots of bears in those woods... Be careful. :)
Legendary status earned and maintained!Wow,just wow.Have indulged all ur adventures.Love Canada and all you real Canadians.Awe n respect from a like minded Australian.❤
Amazing Adventure ! Thanks for taking us along. Yes Roco is an amazing dog. Cheers 👊😎👍 p.s. Dustin Porter couldn't take his rig over the bridge end. Was cool you went for it.👍
You got a new intro which is nice.
Stay safe!
This channel ain't a marathon challenge.
You know the drill: Foresty Forest he lives in a van, Foresty Forest!
Thank you so much Foresry and Roco ❤
Side note: i wouldn't have been able to fall back asleep after Roco went bonkers that night. 😢.... such a good girl, she scared that big thing away.
Sasquatch?
@@russellwhitford6849 might be better than a big bear?
Yesterday I did a 13k hike and had to do a patch through the snow without my spikes. Boo hoo. This guy puts my whining in perspective. Full respect - you are a legend.
Exploring The Spectrum would be a great title for your autobiography
Rocko bites holes through your tent in a fit of frantic desperation of defense, and FORESTY is just like, yeah, something big was walking around us last night. Don’t know what it is. 😱😱😱
Bigfoot
“The Swiss army knife of dogs” 😂. Little Rocko you rock❤ Rocko is also a decorator with her hole addition to the tent!
Thank you Simon. You take us to incredible places. It is so beautiful. Those mosquitos look rough.
Love seeing a longer video from ya, Foresty. This one was great. I'm happy it was just black bear you ran into, because that wilderness looked a bit wild. Stay safe, bud.
This is Freedom, Thank you.
I had to donate for this hike✌🏻Get some nice cold beer 🍻
Thanks 🍻
Seeing that moose swimming with mtns in background is EPIC!
6 days no people, amazing! My dream!
Really fun to watch! Missed you both..cheers 🍺
Been a very long week, I have the evening to myself. Kicking back and watching Foresty, do Foresty things. Life is good.
Foresty Forest ❤ watching from 14,000’ in the Colorado Rockies

@@minimalist_adventurer ahh! 👍👍
Stunning achievement, bravo 👏 There aren't many people who can say "that's all there is to it" nearing the end of an incredibly challenging 92 mile wild country adventure. You're truly a legend.
Another amazing Foresty/Rocko adventure. What a great start to our day.
Amazing! Foresty and Rocko the Knife out on another awesome adventure! ❤❤❤
Legendary ForestyForest marathon video!
What a feat! I’m sure Rocko has climbed more mountains than most “ mountain climbers”. Thanks for the adventure again - from Hells Canyon, Frank.
Nothing better than a Friday Foresty drop!!!
