Hey Thomas. Sorry to read this. My husband is battling a high grade prostate cancer. He just finished 45 rounds of radiation and will remain on hormones until November 2025. They make him feel like shit but he’s handling it like a champ. He is what they say is stage 3 although they don’t normally stage with prostate cancer but I asked what it would be akin to in staging and we got that answer. We pray he will get rid of it and stay cancer free. I’ll pray for the same for you.
I'm glad you like your shirt, Mike 😁 as soon as I saw it on your wishlist I knew it was the one to get for you. 😊 Hang on in there, Mike, I know it must be hard right now but if anyone can do it it's you ❤️

I understand completely there's so much to deal with and I know a few people with that same fear and I couldn't begin to understand how terrifying it can be
Oh Mike. I'm so sorry for what you are going through. Of course you are going to feel emotionally stressed. Can you join a supoort group, or seek an individual counselor? Just to know that you're not alone. As for the nausea, can you try ginger ale, saltines and pretzels instead of yogurt? Or try a non dairy yogurt. I'm so glad that you were able to hang out with friends. It's so good for your morale. Bill Nye the Science Guy was the best. My girls could watch him for hours. Brilliant man! Hi Mike! That damn chemo ....sorry it kicks the legs out from under you for half the week. And brain fog sucks. Mine isn't from chemo mine is from ADD. I'm sure it bothers you more than the people who are answering your question over and over again. You got some fantastic gifts. You'll have to let us know how the jelly is. And that shirt...lol Looking forward to seeing your new space and adventures. Big changes coming your way! Good talking to you. 🌸🌼
Bless you. This is taking its toll this time isn’t it? 😢 is it any wonder you are mentally done? I’m currently waiting to see my Consultant about next steps with metastatic colon Cancer to Lung. Biopsy last week and hoping surgery soon🙏 do you ever just think “is this my life now? Bits of me removed every year?” Arrgh xxxxx
I mean that's been my life for the past few years. Something removed some new found and situation of going nowhere fast, it sucks but I'll keep going. I hope you get some good news coming up ❤️
Chemo brain is no joke; I took 20 steps and forgot what I was going downstairs for. This is normal during treatments, Mike, and it will take months to clear when completed. You're doing well. Please don't worry. Things will return to normal. By the way, how were the Wings?
Oh yea I've been on this road before just forgot how much that fog can effect you. Those wings were amazing it was at one of my favorite places called bombshells it's like a military version of hooters
Oh gosh Mike, you dont need to respond to every message matey....your sick...thats not fair on you especially since the channel has grown. Dont worry bud.
Just a helpful hint brother... Only Wear/Look at the shirt. I don't want to hear about eating a bunch of Skittles before your next appointment to see if you can puke rainbows! I hope all is going well for you, cool to see you moving at the end of the month, ought to be a nice change of pace. Yma O Hyd Brother!
Have you tried THC to help with your nausea and appetite? I've known ppl that it really helped with nausea and appetite issues while on chemo. I have a friend with a liscensed legal farm that makes the capsules for sale legally in my state. Doesn’t help everyone but helps some, you might want to try some if you have not. I'm really sorry you're feeling poorly for part of your week. I hope the chemo is wiping out those stupid nasty cancer cells. Your memory issues are temporary, try not to let it get you down, no one will think you're not smart if you're forgetful on chemo. A lot of women get brain fog while pregnant so more people probably understand some of what you're going through than you might imagine. Take care, stay cool. You have an Army of us sending positivity your way.
I've tried THC a few years ago but didn't like the feeling I got from it but never tried any capsules or edibles so I may need to look into that. I'm very lucky to have all of you in my corner ❤️
Listen Kiddo… if every other week chemo is what it takes to manage the tumor the chemo fog will be worth it. It sucks I know it sucks but everyone here wants you here for years to come and if every other week chemo is what it takes to save your life the fog will be worth it. Don’t go to the dark place. You will have fun again this is just a bump on your life’s road…
Random question and not cancer related because cancer sucks…do you like rollercoasters? I went to Hershey park last Sunday with my daughter and some friends for her birthday. I haven’t been on a rollercoaster since I was like 21 and I’m 41 now. Anyway I didn’t want to be a party pooper so I got on all the ones she got on and I had a freakin blast. Oh believe me my eyes were shut tight and I was holding on like my life depended on it but I think I had more fun than she did. When we got off to look at the photo that’s taken my friend had the face of pure constipation😆😆😆😆he was terrified. I love doing things that makes me feel like a kid again. What about you?
To be completely honest, I've never been on a rollercoaster....I've always been terrified of them and heights. I wanted to push myself to do but could never find the courage to do so. I've done a bit of random stuff in my life but never rode a rollercoaster 😂
@@thatguymike91 aww man I swear once you do it once you’ll be hooked. I’m terrified myself of them. Always have a fear that some final destination type crap will happen while I’m on one but it’s the most amazing scary but fun experience ever. Hopefully one day you’ll get past that fear

The week of I was a mess & then just when I was baseline I had to go to appointment again. Threw my trauma response completely off only to be a mess again. I understand it’s just when u get your footing back it’s time. I get it I believe you it sucks but damn that shark shirt is cool af

I'll do my best and FACTS cancer sucks
I think i saw the first shirt on ur wishlist
I thought so just couldn't remember
Brave brave guy, I applaud anyone going through chemo I could never do it I suffer from emetaphobia very real fear so hats off to you Mike and anyone else going through chemo and cancer 😢😢😢xxx
I love the cat on the shark shirt.
Feel better my sweet friend. I hope the hurricane does not cause any damage to your home. Prayers and love as always. ❤️🫂🫶🙏
Ginger ale and saltines do help unfortunately just didn't have any this go around and I'll keep y'all posted on the storm 🙂
Stay safe!❤@@thatguymike91
❤❤❤❤that smile .
❤️❤️❤️
Hello Mike hope you're feeling a bit better now
Keep on and up
Sending you hugs prayers and love x
Thank you, I will
Remember that chemo destroys everything including gut biome, hence the chemo fog. It is taking me a long time to rebuild mine, years after chemo.
Ugh I'm sorry. It's so awful. Being inescapably sick, nauseated, vomiting is the worst!!😥
Oh 100% but luckily it finally passed
The funny thing is, you remind me of Terry Fox (i'm Canadian, so its important to me). you are inspiring and I am glad you are sharing your story. Keep it up and keep going, you got this! ( if you do not know who terry fox was, watch terry fox anything is possible on youtube, you won't regret watching it!)
I will do that ☺️ thank you
And that shirt...lol
Looking forward to seeing your new space and adventures. Big changes coming your way! Good talking to you. 🌸🌼
Big changes indeed and I can't wait for them it's gonna be fantastic
You are incredible . Have you tried sublingual anti sickness meds like ondansetron or metroclopramide ? They worked so well on my dad
I have they don't really do anything for me unfortunately
Meow
Moooow ❤️
Sorry about the hurricane! Houston for 26 years. Can get bad … or not😅😊
Your adorable and that shirt is awesome ❤
The shirt is awesome and you're adorable ❤️
Hi Mike good to see you? Stay strong😊
Thank you, I will 😊
@@thatguymike91 good 😊
Sounds like my ADHD
Yea pretty much it's so weird
Oh yea, show us the hurrican.
I feel so awful for you!❤❤
No need to feel awful 😊 I'll always get back up ❤️
Your amazing Mike 🫶🥰❤
So are you 😊
I wish for some positive news❤You are my inspiration for finding happiness in small wins no need to win a war immediately
Exactly right those small victories can help to get you those big wins
Oh gosh Mike, you dont need to respond to every message matey....your sick...thats not fair on you especially since the channel has grown. Dont worry bud.
I tend to respond when I feel better and I enjoy responding ☺️
OMG that shirt..thats somethin else lmao! xx
Right I love the hell out of it!
Now see I didn't think of that... I could become the shark 😂
@@thatguymike91 Care to place bets on how many POUNDS of skittles your followers start shipping to you?????
Yma O Hyd!
(I say 17lbs)
❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sorry you are going through this. I start chemo and radiation for stage 3 lung cancer. Not looking forward to side effects 😕
It's a rough path I won't lie, but if need be I'll be here to help with anything I can ❤️
I’m so sorry you’re feeling so bad 😔 Have you tried drinking ginger tea with honey? Ginger helps settle the stomach.
It really does I just didn't have any this go around.
I know where you're coming from.
I'm sorry you have to deal with similar stuff
Listen Kiddo… if every other week chemo is what it takes to manage the tumor the chemo fog will be worth it. It sucks I know it sucks but everyone here wants you here for years to come and if every other week chemo is what it takes to save your life the fog will be worth it. Don’t go to the dark place. You will have fun again this is just a bump on your life’s road…
You are right and I'll stay on this path for as long as I need to to be here as long as I can ❤️
Random question and not cancer related because cancer sucks…do you like rollercoasters?
Can I ask, what is the care like for you having 2 stomas? In the uk for me, it is very BaD. You Take Care Because We Care. 🎉
It's not terrible. I mean I do go through double the supplies but in reality it's just there taking up space
❤
❤️❤️❤️
Mike I was thinking of you today… wondering how your doing.
I pray the taste is gone in your mouth.
Mike it’s fn annoying af!!!!Im sorry it does suck !!
I’m 51 & can’t remember anything no lie.
I’m never busy… homebody here.
I’ve been through something nothing physical like your schedule however mentally I’d have one week on/week off too.
The week of I was a mess & then just when I was baseline I had to go to appointment again. Threw my trauma response completely off only to be a mess again.
I understand it’s just when u get your footing back it’s time.
I get it
I believe you it sucks but damn that shark shirt is cool af
It does suck that's why I've started trying brain/memory exercises to see if it helps
@@thatguymike91 keep me posted if u can.
