- 09-22-2023 D&SNG No. 1 is a 50-tonner center-cab type narrow gauge diesel locomotive built by General Electric (GE) in 1957, originally for the Arkansas Limestone Railroad. It would later be sold in 2002 to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (D&SNG) in Durango, CO, following the 2002 Missionary Ridge wildfire, and given the nickname "Hotshot". It is mainly used on the D&SNG for switching operations, mostly out of Durango, CO, and has remained in service as of today.

Exzellent Video Ed
Thank you very much 👍😎
I remember seeing that switcher among the other ones when I visited D&S in 2021 with my aunt and uncle. We’re actually in the middle of planning another trip together to do this summer. It’s not narrow gauge but it’s still a place we’re hoping to visit.
It's truly an amazing place to experience, I hope you can go back soon, if you don't mind me asking? what is the other place ?
@@EdWhizAviationTrains Working out plans to visit Nevada Northern with my aunt and uncle.
