Of course it's got a lake, we live there.. it was a brand new community when we bought the genesis new build. Excellent after sale service, Excellent workmanship in side the house. Quiet family oriented neighbourhood. The only problem is the drivers in the area are not very alert!! That's a government problem, for issuing licences!! The community is: Taralake - like the name says. So obviously there's lake, n houses right on the lake. Eventually, we do want to sell our house and would like the area to be promoted as a reputable one. None of residents do anything to give this area a bad reputation!! Everyone here is established professionals with families. Unless it's about the majority of established residents being: NON - WHITE!! And it's not the NE area in it self, but it's the NON WHITE population in it?? Please clarify, thank you
@@gaffm6083 It's all in comparison. NE has a lot to offer. I go there often for shopping etc. But you should visit all quadrants of Calgary to understand the pros and cons of each one. One thing interesting about Calgary is that the city is so big, and weather can be so different from one end to another. North gets a lot more hail damages than the south. South is slightly warmer too if you are into gardening.
@ no doubt that's a good suggestion. The point was a request to not put down the Northeast area! It ruins our future chances of selling our property. We've Been living in northeast since many years now and we haven't had any problems. But if constantly people will give northeast a bad rep? through their clips, then the newcomers are going to believe that to be the truth. It should be more of a decision left for newcomers to decide, rather than through power of suggestion! As a professional realtor the decision about the areas should strictly be left to the new individual buyers, and not forced to believe otherwise! In calling northeast bad area, is there any evidence? Thx

Northeast area is wonderful and convenient. I 30:19 don't know why you are putting it down.?
It got no lake, rough drivers and many people want to avoid. Besides that great value for money and I got nothing against NE.
