How to change mower deck belt on Cub Cadet XT1 without removing mower deck.

Thank you! I ran over one of the dogs toys, so I wanted to fix it myself and I didn’t wanna have to take the deck off because that looked like… More than I was willing to do ha ha!

@@fixallfarmer The older I’ve gotten the more my brain refuses to follow multiple steps and when I watched videos of taking the deck off, I could see that “ NASA we have a problem…” 😂

What size deck, 42"? Went to the link, supposedly doesn't fit an xt1 42" deck. This is definitely quicker than pulling the dek.

How do you get the belt off of the pullies that have the guides on them.? I think they're called tension Pullies.

You should be able to push against it and it will relieve the pressure.

Use a 9/16 socket wrench on top of the idler pulley and one below to loosen it. Then once belt is on tighten it up
