Thank you sooo much for this video. Tom, I am a 50 year old woman, no air tools, however I did it! Your video is 10 minutes but it took me 2 1/2 hours on the ground....your detailed instructions are spot on! Thank you again!
Excellent and simplistic, and thank you for putting this out. It helped me in a very simplistic way of how to remove the deck and replace the belt and deck back on the mower properly.
This video has saved me so much time and heartache. I’ve used this video at least 5 times but I think I resolved the real issue as to why I needed to do it so often. 😅 thank you’
I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
because there are 2 belt guards one on each pulley. that's why i came here to see if there is some one could have done it differently. i've tried there is no way around it.
also which belt.. I went to Lowes and tractor supply and the part they say that will fit will NOT fit... how about give us part numbers cause apparently they have about 4 differ size belt for their lawn rider 46cutter xt1... no i didn't get for a zero turn.
@@AsikDrone Just ran into this same problem, bought both 46" deck belts from Tractor Supply, one is about 6" too long and the one that is "supposed" to be for mine you couldn't get the deck back on with a come along.
Common sense if you are going to replace the belt read your manual in the manual it will give you the number of the belt , plus take the old belt to compare both belt the old and the new belt never trust associate from store they don’t know nothing and you will end with the wrong belt stop blaming other when you did make your assignment
I'm 92 and I changed the belt without taking t5he deck off. I used my Creeper I thought it was rather easy. The only trouble I had was getting the right belt. Its printed on the deck 46inches when I ordered the 46" it was way to long 108.5". It's more like 100"
This would have been a very helpful video of the video actually showed what you were doing instead of the back of your head, shoulder, wide angle from 20 feet away, etc.

Nice clean job, thanks for the effort.
What kind of table is that? I need one of those.
How about showing me the tension spring for the belt.
If I remove the deck from the mower, will it void the warranty?
How do you adjust the belt. Mine keeps coming off with a new belt
This guy is awesome 👌
I replaced my deck belt and didn't pull the deck what did I do wrong and or why do you need to pull the deck?
You don't need to remove the deck.
Why do you have to loosen the idler pulleys?

I'm interested in where to buy a table like that
i can't find anything on the spindle pully brake. please Help
what are trying to do? Are you trying to replace the pad?
So we're going to do a how to do video but the camera is so damn far away how can you see what you're doing
Any follow up on the question re source of the platform lift used in this video? Weingartz?
This guy doesn’t seem to respond. I’m stuck. Didn’t take deck off but I did take brackets off and now i can’t get arm to go into the last hole! Help!
Set it on level ground

Ha I see you havent gotten an answer either. This is garbage. I have 2 - 46" belts that wont work. About an inch short ...

I changed my belt and didn't go through all that left deck on mower.
i found it either to pull the deck but, it's not a necessity.
Uncalled for,, removed deck loosen pullups. Dang just put it on. No deck removal needed

Show us how it's done while lying on the ground on your stomach or side like most of us will have to do.
why the 5fps? Did you use a flip phone to record this?
Do I really have to take down the deck?
of course.. it helps push the all electric units further by creating the maintenance argument lol
I found it either to reach and work on it but, it's not a requirement.
@@virusthewolf shure you want to bring the deck down to check or replace the blades
It's a good time to replace or sharpen the blades.
To sharpen the blades it's pretty easy by using a 80 grit flap disc on an angle grinder.
I guess thanks
OK, this was done very poorly. Could see what the heck you where doing.
Camera angles are horrible. I stopped watching after 4 minutes.
Just to much haha
Horrible , cant see poo! You need better video quality too choppy!
