Love your shirt color. Looks beautiful with your hair & skin color. Congrats on being recognized for making a huge difference for so many walking on a health journey by this group writting up a study based on your ch. I hope that this group that is involved writting up the stucy are legit and are on the right side of history not the protecting the main stream medical establishment who has done so much harm to many.
One person can make a positive difference and YOU have hit the ball out of the park for creating your ch & providing so much amazing content & interviewing so many that share their stories of healing. BRAVO!! 👏. Keep up the great job.
For me: Detoxing mold/heavy metals with bentonite clay (drinking 3 wks 2 times a day, then alternating 1 wk off , 1 wk on, 1 off etc & putting on skin (put on whole body skin only once whole body)) & rotating the following during the same time as bentonite clay oral capsules of *activated charcoal, *NAC & *Chelanox (which is a combo of heavy metal herbs) has done wonders to give me energy back. Sleep is better too. Not fully healed from fatigue/sleep issue but this is working.
Focusing on detoxing mold & at the same time heavy metals has been key.
(* bought all of the herb capsules at my local health food store)

Hi Raelan, first off, I want to say thank you for all of your efforts and videos.
Secondly, I want to help you now. In this video, I noticed your one eye lid is drooping. I had the same thing and I had it corrected but had to go through 3 or 4 different doctors and 2 specialists. The one guy who eventually cured it diagnosed it as " silent sinus syndrome ". Google it and you will see. I had to have 2 fairly minor surgeries. 1 was to open up the clogged sinuses under my one eye so that the stuff could finally drain out of my sinus cavity. The second surgery was to put a small mesh net under my drooped eye and it lifted it back up to the original location, correcting the damage done by the silent sinus syndrome. It created a negative vacuum ( don't ask me how ) under my eye and pulled it down about a quarter inch. If not corrected, it will continue to droop.
I am not sure if this is what's happening for you, but I am fairly certain that it is! It sucks but can 100% be cured and fixed. I had to see a very good ENT doctor that did the 1st surgery. The 2nd surgery was done by another specialist. Please reach out to me if you want more information. I'd love to help you out...just the same as you help everyone else out! Thanks again! Take care. 😊

Hi Raelen great video, as always! So helpful to have some of the key messages from your many videos all in one spot. I really liked the idea of having a small thing you can start with TODAY to help with your recovery.
I was surprised what you said about LDN though (and nicotine patches for that matter) - LDN was the first thing that gave me any sort of symptom relief from my ME/CFS and I know many other people who also found similar benefit. And I'm pretty sure I've heard both being part of recovery stories in your videos too - it will be interesting to see what the systematic analysis by Goldsmiths says about this. Yes, it's highly unlikely a single pill or medication will solve our issues but that's not to say that at least some people won't get substantial benefit from them (much like cleaning up diet helps many people albeit is not a illness specific treatment)
Otherwise I thought it was an excellent summary of what seems to help (and not help) most people and I'm sure thousands of people will benefit from this and your other work. With much gratitude!

@@tanyawieczorek6603 , it took a lot of time and work to calm my nervous system. I worked on my feet so I had to drop to part time work. Restorative yoga, meditation were invaluable. It was very hard to stand or walk, but I learned that I could swim. Not having weight on my body but still moving trained my brain that it was ok. I found the Gupta program after 4 years of suffering. realizing the neurological side helped my nervous system calm instantly. It was a lot of work and up and downs and took about a year. One of the biggest things was that one day i took full accountability for everything in my life. No more blame and negativity....and I had lost almost everything, my house, my marriage, my saving, and close to losing my job. Lots of life lessons :)

@ It's hard to say what one thing is helping. But, I have been doing breathing exercises using the breathwrk app, working on my circadian rhythm, listening to recovery stories to reinforce to myself on the rough days that I can heal. And then responding well to symptoms, remembering that it's just my nervous system and that the symptoms will pass. Usually once I do that, it usually does. Also, doing some somatic work. Hope that helps😊

Thank you so much for talking about the timelines! I feel like so many people think this is a quick fix. And unfortunately some brain retraining programs push that. I’ve had CFS for 10 years, almost recovered and then relapsed last year because I had another perfect storm that shut down my nervous system. I’m 6 months into brain retraining and doing somatic work with Sarah Jackson’s Restore program, and I’ve made sooo much progress but I know I still have a ways to go. People need to know that just because there’s a small group that recover super fast, that’s not always the case for everyone!

Hey Raelen, I absolutely love your work and everything you do for this community. Thank you! I very much agree that working with the brain and nervous system is one of the best approaches to healing from these kinds of conditions. I also believe that there can be a bit more nuance and complexity for some people (I am one of them).
I agree that for most people medications are not the answer, but I disagree with your take away about LDN. LDN in particular really has seemed to help so many people with CFS- I’ve listened to several of your interviews where people have said taking LDN was a turning point in their recovery. LDN is a medication that works specifically on neuroinflammation in the brain and quiets a part of the immune system that can get very overactive in people with CFS. In that way, it actually does act upon the nervous system and the immune system.
I think we still have a ways to go in this space in understanding that it’s not this or that, brain retraining or medicine, mind or body. They are so interwoven that they cannot be separated, so it’s always both. Thanks for considering my perspective, and for all that you do!

The medical medium encouraged people to eat a lot of fruit and to have lemon water every morning and he specifically said that it would not erode away the enamel on the teeth. Unfortunately, it did erode my enamel pretty severely and my dentist said that once enamel is gone, it doesn't come back. There are some different toothpastes that say they remineralize the teeth, but I have not seen any improvement from those.

Hi Raelyn, Thankyou so much for sharing this!
Just want to quickly mention that there are quite a few people on a fb site related to nicotine patches that have gotten close to full recovery through nicotine patches - theory is around binding to viral debris, plus nicotine stimulates parasympathetic NS.
I think the issue with recoveries, is that it is SO individual.
I have been meditating and brain training for years with only limited success so am going to look at combining this brain techniques with some physical strategies like nicotine, diet etc.

Thank you for all you do for this community. Last year I was mostly bedbound, and on days I felt like giving up, I'd watch your videos.
I still have fairly severe CFS but one thing that's helped me recently is realising I probably have POTS so adding electrolytes to my water, and drinking more. I can suddenly stand up for MUCH longer without my Visible armband beeping at me! I never got light-headed on standing so thought it couldn't be POTS, but it seems to be a factor. Just being able to move around a bit more is amazing. Just thought I'd mention it in case it helps anyone else!
Thanks again for all you do. 🙂

You mentioned that these recovery themes are building on what pain sufferers have found helpful, but I don't think any pain sufferers expect to be cured from these "treatments". instead they expect to gain some influence over their symptoms (plus a better outlook on their lives). Maybe in time, some were indeed seemed to be cured of their pain because there can be many unknown factors that they may not be aware of. but I don't know of any who then claim it can be a cure for others.

Still in the process myself - 2 years post covid/ cfs … did also a lot of meditation and spiritual work, which is great, but did not improve the condition. im my opinion , we need to digg deeper, as also mentioned by realan, searching and releasing trauma from body and mind… that seems to be part of all the brain retraining programs in one way or the other. that will be my next steps, fingers crossed.
