    Exercising can be really hard sometimes, but it always makes me feel better. Last year I had almost 320 lbs in body weight. One day I just started moving more, then slow running then I started doing weighted exercises, and I was eating clean by following a meal plan I got from Next Level Diet. Today I have 200 lbs and I am happy like I never been in my life, and so is my wife.

    Enjoy being a dad. Became a dad 3 months ago to a perfect little boy. It can be struggling at times and no one can ever truly be prepared for a child. But man it’s worth it. Knowing you are responsible for the development of a human that you will mold into a better version of yourself and becomes a productive member to society and does big things.

    • @adamisapotato
      @adamisapotato 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Take a few weeks off or with reduced mileage, then make sure you increase mileage VERY slowly to avoid shin splints. Start as low as you need to to avoid pain then increase distance by no more than 10% per week. It won’t feel good at first to be running really short distances, but you’ve gotta be in it for the long game and build up distance slowly

      Focus on rolling out your calves and the bottom of your feet. A lot of the time, shin splints can happen with muscle tightness and fatigue. Look up “knees over toes guy” as well. He posts a ton of info about mobility/bodyweight movements and I’m sure he’ll help. Good luck!

    • @florian8404
      @florian8404 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The best result against shin splints I personally achieved with a lacrosse ball, like a black roll but as a ball.
      Push it tight into the sides of your shin (mostly the inner side) and roll down slowly with pressure and repeat that. You can also do circles or whatever feels good.
      Trust me you'll feel it and it will probably hurt a lot in the beginning, but it will quickly get better.
      You are basically loosening the tight muscles attached to the bone structures of your shin, which is a normal reaction to load, but causes the pain, until you fix the cause and the tightness gets released.
      Speaking from airborne military experience and marathon training.

      There’s no set amount you need to run. A key is to increase distance slowly over time to avoid injury, so don’t increase distance by more than 10 percent per week. There are a lot of marathon training plans you can find online and on TH-cam, just find one that works for you. And again, don’t increase mileage too quickly. Good luck!!
