Nick, food for thought: Fish get their fatty acids from algae. Instead of eating fish oil you could eat algae oil! Then fish don't need to die for a supplement and you can get the fatty acids you need to stay healthy. Alternatives exist everywhere!

That’s a very good question, I do lots of running and cycling so I don’t tend to do specific ‘leg day’ workouts because I feel I’m already doing so much leg training, and even in the pool I will addd in kicking with fins etc. would be interesting to see Nick’s answer to this one. 👍🏻
It is a difficult balance at least it was for me, I would still train legs once a week when I was running more but it never felt very intense and my strength was down.
Don’t train like a body builder, we are runners after all. I prefer to do 2-3 leg sessions a week after my harder runs. They don’t need to be long, maybe 20-45 minutes. And focus on strength, not endurance when lifting. Your running provides the endurance, so let the lifts provide strength and injury resistance 👍🏻

I am trying to build some muscle as I lost a lot of weight a few years ago and working to gain it back but in muscle not too much fat. I also know that if I was stronger I would have more speed too! I do weight sessions 3 times a week but don’t seem to be gaining muscle
Timing preworkout is essential - not taking it till actually leaving the house and no other surprises- even though doing things on preworkout is fun but brain is to fast for others not on pre lol

I picked up long distance running over the last 6 months. If you do 2 a days and eat enough calories it’s honestly not terribly hard to keep on the weight. I’ve worked up do doing 20+ miles a week and keep around 195lbs. That being said I’m not breaking any distance world records at this weight but I’m plenty fast.
@@davidprobst3351 a good indication of being natty is the weights you're lifting. He's not lifting anything too crazy and he has mentioned that he has good genetics so he may be natty.

Try steaming your wings for an hour, let the cook down and the roast them. They render all the fat and when you roast them at 375 for 40 minutes it like they are fried.

As a triathlete I ussually incorporate 2 strength sessions a week (legs and core only) where I focus on strength so low reps and heavy weight.
