    This is fantastic to see broken down into manageable chunks! I would have liked to have heard a little about the camera section (choice of view, camera angle, focal length etc). I’m really excited to see also the sequel to this in the form of the Photoshop post-production.

      Remember to set your materials' Blend Mode to Alpha Blend or your noise will show as solid black shapes. Settings > Blend Mode > Alpha Blend (at least this is what I had to do).

    Very very very cool video. The way you explain is easy to understand and breakdown is great. Only thing that I didnt but hoped to see were plants, are they imported or made by you and if what was the method like curves or just model, extrude, bevel, texture or maybe plane image cut to match leaf.
    I discovered you on artstation by one of the huge scale scene you made "IRRADIANT". Entered your profile and wow thats the guy yeah he's this guy he's that one. Your work is... Im lack of words... inspiration, modern masterpiece I would say. Love to see tutorials about "Dusk", "Inversion", "Wondering why", "Southern Tombs" and "IRRADIANT" of course. All are awesome, your theme is just wow. But the thing is when I see your artworks I cant say if they are still made in blender like you can make big ass fan ("Industry" "Industry 2") and many extrusions and bevels and wild camera angle for "Hopeless" "Data vault" but "Forewaming" "Real life" and few more are like "these still blender or you can draw too? Maybe pure photoshop god. He's built different".
    I wish you great and I hope your channel will outgrow the donut guy ;). Your art is just... honestly make eye tear if you sit for a while and imagine scenarios and background, Its beautifull. Keep it up Max.

    very interesting, thanks a lot.
    That waterfall material is so simple yet effective, I'll make sure to use that soon enough :) Do you think it'll looks convincing when animated to move along the z to show movement of the water? for that you'd need to use a texture map, then you'd need to stretch the noise texture on the z axis of course.

    • @shantifawkes7060
      @shantifawkes7060 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      do u know where to put the mix shader in for the waterfall material, he is not showing it properly

    • @TripTilt
      @TripTilt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shantifawkes7060 the mix shader is between the translucent and the transparent shader. When the transparent shader is in the top socket you control the transparency with the black value like he shows in the video :)
